- Plumbing would not be difficult if you good at plumbing and if you don't mind working in tight spaces on your back. Personally I don't think 2 separate tops would look very good--a seam down the middle to fill with dirt/mold, and eventually leak through. Buy a double sink top and a vanity to fit it.
- Q: Ok, the bottom cabinets (vanity) is 60" wide and the the sink or vanity top is 61" wide dual bowl cultured marble. The vanity and vanity top in question is my profile pic or avatar and I had a house fire and now I have to find this sink and cabinets to have it replaced. Except I bought it from a private seller and now I don't have any idea who makes it or where I can find it and I've been looking for days and I'm going a little crazy. - A top for a 60' vanity is standard which as you say is going to be 61' wide and 22' deep. Just because it is very standard does not mean it can be found in every store. A top for a 42' vanity also will never ever be found but it is readily available. The biggest rapists in the retail world, Home Depot and OKorders will special order this for you but not only will you pay top top dollar but you will wait a couple months for it. Instead go to a plumbing supply company. The biggest and best choice would be Ferguson which nearly every major city has a location. Any plumbing supply store will either have it in stock or get it in just a few days. You should be in for about $119 to $129 for this top. Good luck

- the main things are the holes for the drain and the water lines but u can do it,if is a new sink, make sure u cut the hole about 1/2 ' short,how u do that,face down the sink first and trace it ,then 1/2'back and cut,with a jig-saw ,good luck
- Q: I am about to redo my bathroom and my boyfriend wants to put in an antique white vanity, I think that the antique white (because it is more of a cream distressed look) would clash with white crown molding . . . . any thoughts???Should I just stick with a clean white bathroom vanity?
- why not go with an eggsheell or an off white to match the vanity with the crown moulding, leave the rest of the room a regular white and the eggshell or antique white of the crown moulding would be quite a contrast to the room not looking like a white box, also it would accent the antique vanity bringing the room together instead of making it ( the vanity) stand out and look out of place. - Is this for a Master Bath? I think before you purchase anything you should think about the space you have to work with. You could try for a similar look as the tradewindimport piece by crafting a vanity out of an inexpensive but strong wood and wrap the wood in mirror and set sink on top. I would search in your area for outlets that have discounted plumbing fixtures. As far as a mirror goes, I would look at art and frame shops, hobby stores, even tuesday morning, tj maxx, marshall's... sometimes you can find really good deals. May be fun to use a round mirror above a sharp contemporary vanity. Hope this helps! I have a degree in Interior Design and practiced 16 years before becoming a busy mom.

- Q: We bought a vanity set from Home Depot for our bathroom. It came with the base (vanity) and a counter/sink piece to sit on top. We don't see anyway to secure the counter to the vanity. It just sits there. But it rocks a little actually. Seems like it should stay in place somehow other than because the faucet is attached to the plumbing. How do we do this? It didn't come with any pieces, and maybe it should have come with directions we don't have.Thanks
- You put a bead of construction adhesive on the top edge of the vanity, and a couple spots on the wall where the counter touches the wall. Set it in place and let it dry for 24hr.
