Q:i have a bearded dragon and i want to use Zoo Med Excavator Clay Burrowing Substrate is this ok to to use and i have a 40 gallon tank i want to use 40 lbs of it is my under tank heater going to penetrate through it if its that thick that you for all of your help
how much does 40lbs of that excavator stuff cost? i bet alot. i bring this up cause 50lbs of top soil and 50lbs of playsand at home depot comes to $6.00. so not only is it the best choice its also the least expensive substrate choice.
Q:As we all know as the worlds population grows the demand for heavy machine workers are increasing by the numbers. I'm a fresh out of High School graduate looking to increase my knowledge in the construction industry as an heavy machine operator, In my case the excavator would be a preferable because I grew up around one and have used them before. My father was a heavy machine operator and I want to follow in his steps but sadly he's no longer with us so I can't take on his knowledge and use it to my advantage but I learned from what he's taught me before hand. I've worked on a CAT strictly but can drive deere controls tooAre there any schools in Hawaii that offer this type of hands on training? I'd like to increase my chances of getting into the industry.
With the skills that you already have, you may be able to enter at a higher level than the apprentices just entering the union without any skills. See if you can talk to the apprentice coordinator, but I can almost guarantee you'll start as an apprentice.
Q:Ok, so the simple quot;unbolt the rod end plate, slide out the ram and replace the sealquot; isnt quite what I'm looking for.The ram is on a JCB excavator and holds probably 10 or 20 litres of fluid (which I dont want to just throw on the floor), also its 15 feet up in the air. What I hope you will be able to tell me is method, like: 1 disconnect hydraulic couplings at the piston (plug pipe to digger unit. 2 connect manual hyraulic pump to expel fluid. 3 remove clevis pins... etc. etc how to bleed (if necesary)remember this thing is big, heavy and not easy to get at.
well you pretty much either going to have to manhandle it or used something as big to get it down to the ground taking it apart is about what you think not really much to any of them but the size..... but once you get the thing off just what the order the seals come out and pretty much replace the same way sorry replacing the seals is not hard its get it where you can work on it.... man ive done a few when i was logging and they all about the same will be o rings and packing seals.... im sure you can do it but get it on the ground
Q:can not stand ah, every time gank come to leave a piece of Xiang, how can you do not hate this?
Standing on the tunnel he dug, the tunnel would disappear and you would get 5 gold coins.
Q:my friend bought an old 690B john deer excavator- but the bucket and arm cyls. are toast ! I got lots of parts #'s for him off the jd site but can't get the actual specs for the cylinders. any tips?
If you're looking to replace the cylinders, just take some measurements from the old ones - however, you're not likely to find replacements that are exact enough to work properly. The cylinders might be made by John Deere, or they could come from Hitachi, which made a lot of JD excavator parts. If the cylinders just need resealing and rebushing, take them to a hydraulic shop - they can find the right seals and wipers, and they can hone them or re-chrome the rods if necessary.
Q:Example: siders, electricians, and plumbers. (I need at least 11)
Excavator, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC techs, roofers, siders, painters, drywall tapers, landscapers, and cement finishers. Hope this helps.
Q:Has anyone used this stuff? I have a bearded dragon and a uromastyx who would both enjoy burrowing but I'm not familiar with this substrate. Is it safe? Does it hold bacteria or carry other risks of causing disease or disorder? Is it used dry? How much would I need for a 55-gallon aquarium? Is it something you clean or just throw away and start over each time the tank is cleaned? What other bedding is as good or better for them? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated!
i would not get it it gets hard after awhile and is like impossible to get out and for a 55 gallon tank for borrowing your look at a lot of this $$$ for the beardie i would stick with paper towls newspaper or reptile carpet but if you really want sand get the finniest play sand around and i mean finest and wash it to it runs clear for the uro i would do a 50 50 50% topsoil organic no pesticides or chemicals and 50% sand do the same thing with the sand as you do with the beardi wash it good luck and i wish the best for you
Q:We are building a two-story garage 30 x 40. I need an estimate on how much to dig for the footers/42quot; wall, plus backfilling after wall is poured. The area where the garage is going is already level. Thanks for the help!
You will have to get a local excavator or soil engineer to help with this. The soil conditions in your area will be a big factor in determining how much soil will need to be removed. The cohesiveness of the soil will determine the angle of repose. Good luck with the project.
Q:A bobcat, Excavator, or any other ones that would work best?
A backhoe...or a front end loader, a steam shovel, an excavator, and a bobcat would all work.
Q:I Have a komatsu PC45r mini excavator and all of the sudden the safety stopped working. It is pulled down all the way but the boom is still not working. Any hints on where to fix that?
not going to look up your particular model but some have a safety interlock handle on both control towers, if so make sure there both down, if that's not the case then you have a faulty micro switch at the interlock handle, a faulty interlock solenoid, or a problem with the wiring, if its new enough to have a ECM then that could be another issue, in any case I'd suggest a mechanic.
