Q:i have a bearded dragon and i want to use Zoo Med Excavator Clay Burrowing Substrate is this ok to to use and i have a 40 gallon tank i want to use 40 lbs of it is my under tank heater going to penetrate through it if its that thick that you for all of your help: how much does 40lbs of that excavator stuff cost? i bet alot. i bring this up cause 50lbs of top soil and 50lbs of playsand at home depot comes to $6.00. so not only is it the best choice its also the least expensive substrate choice.

I got lots of parts #'s for him off the jd site but can't get the actual specs for the cylinders. any tips?: If you're looking to replace the cylinders, just take some measurements from the old ones - however, you're not likely to find replacements that are exact enough to work properly. The cylinders might be made by John Deere, or they could come from Hitachi, which made a lot of JD excavator parts. If the cylinders just need resealing and rebushing, take them to a hydraulic shop - they can find the right seals and wipers, and they can hone them or re-chrome the rods if necessary.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated!: i would not get it it gets hard after awhile and is like impossible to get out and for a 55 gallon tank for borrowing your look at a lot of this $$$ for the beardie i would stick with paper towls newspaper or reptile carpet but if you really want sand get the finniest play sand around and i mean finest and wash it to it runs clear for the uro i would do a 50 50 50% topsoil organic no pesticides or chemicals and 50% sand do the same thing with the sand as you do with the beardi wash it good luck and i wish the best for you

The soil conditions in your area will be a big factor in determining how much soil will need to be removed. The cohesiveness of the soil will determine the angle of repose. Q:I Have a komatsu PC45r mini excavator and all of the sudden the safety stopped working. It is pulled down all the way but the boom is still not working. Any hints on where to fix that?: not going to look up your particular model but some have a safety interlock handle on both control towers, if so make sure there both down, if that's not the case then you have a faulty micro switch at the interlock handle, a faulty interlock solenoid, or a problem with the wiring, if its new enough to have a ECM then that could be another issue, in any case I'd suggest a mechanic.
