Q:Practical problems (maintaining the flame, heat damage to plant, etc) aside, could the light from a wood fire substitute for sunlight to grow plants? The question could be rephrased What aspects of light do plants require for growth, and does a wood fire emit them?: Year, make, and model? In the 1990's most of the manufacturers went to electric motor controls. Before that they were vacuum controlled. IF yours is is vacuum operated the most likely cause is a bad vacuum line or connection under the hood. IF its the motor type the motors usually dont fail but the linkage or doors themselves do often have issue. Do a search for your year make and model if this is the issue there will likely be lots of information and possibly repair kits.

Q:If there are two smoke detector looking things next to eachother, do you think one is a carbon monoxide detect?: I have the iHome iP9 and for that for the alarm to go off you have to first press the number off alarm its on and then press it again and you should see and alarm icon. If it turns off press it again and it is a problem with the sond or something else. Hope that wasn't to confusing.

The fire department just wasted time coming to your school, so ask your friend how nice that would be if they were busy racing toward your school and there was an actual fire somewhere else.

You cannot control the lightning, you can only control yourself. If your anxiety gets really bad, see the doc for some medication that you can take. But the best way to deal with this is to plan for the worst, expect the best, but get on with your life anyway. Take control!!
