Q:Do hair sprays and fire extinguishers contain Chlorofluorocarbon? that is the question in my periodic test. I only remember 2 choices Chlorofluorocarbon or aerosol. My answer was aerosol because I knew there are no CFCs in fire extinguisher (not sure). But our teacher told the answer was CFCs. I could not defend my answer because I wasn't sure if there are really no CFCs in fire extinguisher. Please help me. I really wish I'm correcttnx.: You can learn what ACTUALLY qualifies as a fire hazard. Row homes CANNOT make an open fire grill any more of a fire hazard than the same grill on the porch of a standalone house. If it is a properly designed grill, and at least 10 ft from the building structure, not counting the porch, it IS NOT a fire hazard.

Q:This is for my reflective paper I have to write about. Thanks: The glue will only work for the intended piping system. A shark bite fitting will transition from PEX to CPVC to copper. It is a brass fitting, that pushes on to the end of any of these pipes, and once on, will hold leak free. If you need to remove the fitting, there is a small tool, that when used, will remove the fitting in order to access the system, or to reconnect a different type of pipe. There are now more companies bringing their version of these fittings, that can't be removed. Good luck!

Q:this is the kind of work we do, sheetrock,tile,carpet,taxture,painting,fenceing,room addition, some plumbing,some elect.and roofing,paint.: if im putting 2 steel pipe fittings together i always use pipe tape or dope. but if im thredding brass in to steel or the other way around some times i do and some times i dont. i have replaced lots of break air lines on trucks and i try to use tape or dope but some times i dont if its a hurry thing. some times im laying under trucks in the slush and snow when we have a plow truck blow a parking break line and in thoes siutwations pipe tape or dope is the last thing on my mind. im a mechanic at a highway deparment and some times we do what we gotta do when wer in a rush. as long as the lines you replaced did not leek after you wer done you are fine. threding plain brass in to a fitting and you get it tight enough it wont leek and im shure their was still some pipe tape or dope residue in the fitting you put the brass fitting in to. your wer right as long as it did not leek. if they fire you over this that is bs. good luck

(yesterday) none of them are near enough to other sources to cause them to be going off. any ideas?: Not sure what you have there, but flex pipe usually has Pipe threads on both ends. Some ( when designed to hook up gas appliances ) have Flare fittings on each end. If you intend to use the flex for water, any connector will do, but if you want to run Propane or Natural gas through it, you have to use either black pipe of Flare fittings. ( For black pipe, besure to use a good sealant to prevent leaking ) You should head out to the local hardware store or Home Center and talk to the guys there. Tell them what you are trying to accomplish, and follow their recommendations. Good Luck
