- At the wavelengths used by mobile phones, the signal goes through the windows which are non-conducting and mesh-free. I would hope that nothing on a modern plane is vulnerable to consumer electronics - radiated RF from laptops, cellphones transmitting at full power, or some idiot with a 5W VHF. If you are designing avionics, or anything for military applications, you put it in a shielded case with conducting gaskets and filtered feed-thrus. Then test it to make sure it still works with a radar pointing at it.

- just and FYI here . you can call Tmobile and ask them for the unlock code and if the phone is not listen as stolen they will provide it for you. However you wont be able to access media net from that phone the Tzone settings are not compatible with being updated for media net. You wont be able to get on the internet or send/rec pictures

- Unfortunately, Virgin Mobile practically forces you to make them go to a picture message because the ability to use data cables on Virgin Mobile phones have been disabled. However, if you have a Shuttle or a Slider Sonic, photos can be transferred onto a MicroSD card from your phone and then into your computer (this makes picture messaging not required to get your pictures onto your computer) If you don't have a Slider Sonic or a Shuttle, then you MUST send your photos in a picture message to get them onto a computer. Bluetooth will not work either :-( Hope this helps :-)

- The mytouch 4g slide made by htc is the best smartphone with 4g keyboard 1080p hd recording and of course touch screen I had a mytouch 4g (no keyboard) and it was the best phone I had but I switched to a cheaper kayboard phone the sidekick 4g but I wouldn't recomnad the sidekick

- No. Sorry , but there are Virgin Mobiles all around the world. They all use different phone technologies. France, UK, South Africa and Australia Virgin Mobiles all use sim card phones called gsm. Gsm networks can use any sim card in any phone if it is unlocked first. India, USA and Canada use a non sim card phone technology called cdma. Each network can only use its own phones. VM Canada is owned by Bell. VM USA is owned by Sprint (as of yesterday's buyout announcement). Neither company will let phones from one side go to the other. So no VM Canada phones can run on VM USA either. If you want true phone choice and freedom , stick with gsm phones which come with sim cards. Anther bonus over cdma is that they can be used in any country in the world, cdma cannot.
