- Q: Okay, I am running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional NT..every two weeks, it asks me to change the password to get into my computer. Yesterday, I changed it. It has ALWAYS asked me to verify the password, yesterday it did not. Now the password I thought I typed in will not allow me access to enter the machine. - Grounding electrical circuits on the far end of a water pipe will cause this. The current will travel along the pipe to the ground by the water meter, causing that problem. The pin holes are usually on the bottom of a horizontal running pipe. You need to run a ground wire to a ground rod and not use the water pipe. Using a plastic water pipe does don't give you the best ground. Check the water softener to see if it's grounded properly as well.

But what they forgot to tell you is the way to put your fitting in properly and not to have a leak after your done! 1st buy 1/2 inch copper male adapters(5) and union fittings(3)and an elbow(1). 2nd sweat the male adapt on to a 4 piece of 1/2 L copper pipe (only 3 of them) these you can now put teflon tape on and screw into shower body.(3 o'clock position, 12 9 also) then cut old pipe back to match the connections.Use union fittings to connect them. 3rd make up your new tub spout connection with male adt to an elbow then with a male adt on end for spout. Make sure you remove shower body contents before all of this so you don't melt the internal parts.Good luck!

The copper fittings to make a distribution manifold at the water heater. An acetylene B tank torch, some sand cloth, tinning flux and a roll of lead-free solder. You have to know how to read the plans in order to get any water lines that are in the center of the wall it stubs up into, as well as where to rough-in the main trunk drain line, its branches and vent stacks for easy drainage. You have to know how to weld without wasting solder and clogging the pipe. You will have to know what to do after the frame of the house is put up and the second stage entails; stubbing up out and running stack-out. When the house is almost finished, its time for fixtures. AND you have to do it all following your state/county/city plumbing codes for what size pipe can run what and get a permit inspection. You cannot move ahead to the next stage without a green tag. Think you can handle it? It takes some apprentices at least two years of the three required before he can take the license test to get a clear vision of how to not waste materials and still design a system that works without fail for decades and decades.
