Q:Does anybody care that Brooke Shields is frustrated with aging? see story inside?
There are distinctive variety of waves however the main consumer-friendly are electromagnetic waves (i.e. easy and radio waves) and accoustic waves (i.e. sound, vibration,..). whilst a wave is traveling in a particular textile it has a particular velocity. whilst the wave encounters an interface between 2 aspects there will be a transformation in velocity that could reason mirrored image and/or refraction.
Q:Do rubber boots specially designed for work with electricity provide enough safety from electrocution in this case, I want to pressure wash my house, but there is electric pole right next to the wall, and there is of course an electric cable that goes into my house and electricity meter. I ll be using a metal ladder. I was thinking of getting a rubber boots and rubber gloves. is that enough for protection?
Yes, I always slow down if I see them to avoid running them over.
Q:What are the uses of UV curable resins?
Use of UV photocurable resins:Suitable for crystal frame, paste board, plywood, furniture and other plane surface coating.
Q:Hi all, was listening in on a debate between friends on Glock v. 1911, and the 1911 supporters talked about how the 1911 could be carried ****** and locked safely while a Glock had to be carried with an empty chamber. What part or parts of the 1911 allow it to be carried with a round in the chamber, and what parts is the Glock missing? In addition, what prevents an accidental discharge in the 1911 if one is in the chamber? Does the safety physically block the firing pin from hitting the primer when the safety is on? Thanks.

Q:I am hoping to buy a 2003 Toyota 4Runner, its getting a pre-inspection tomorrow. It currently has Blizzaks on it. The guy selling it was telling me about why they were still on there but I was distracted and it didn't translate well, I cant remember what he said. Why would he be running them in summer? They arent studded but I thought Blizzaks were winter only tires?
The best glue would be a two-part epoxy (resin) glue, but you could also use E6000 or perhaps some other strong clear glues. Some bails squeeze on too. .
Q:The fire alarms in my home are hard wired. When we first moved in 14 years ago, they would chirp for no reason (that we could determine - batteries). About 5 years ago we renovated and put an addition on, doubling the size of our home. We discussed the issue with the electrician who was working on the addition and he said he would look into it. Well, as this was 5 years ago, I really can't remember what he said, but supposedly everything was ok when he left. Until it wasn't. Most recently, the chirping began off and on again. A few months ago, we replaced the batteries on every single alarm and here we are again, the chirping started up again a few days ago. Does anyone have any idea what else it could be?Thank you,Jeanne
Wood filler can be sanded down depending on whether or not you can get to the area you apply it. If it's resin it could be shiny and take a lot of time to sand it down or if your fast enough fashion it to fit before it is completely dry. If you use the resin find some way to get it to a color close to the cardboard.
Q:I moved into a very nice house about four months ago..very upscale house..whom built it did an excellent job..the thing is that last night someone tried to break into the basement door..is there like a security alarm (something like a car alarm) that when someone steps on your property or tried to break open you house..the alarm goes off really loud so that the neighborhood hears..help this is really scary..just think what could happen..
you have to use galvanized pipe and fittings if its being ran inside the structure that your trying to protect. Iron will rust overtime and cease up any valves you might install and PVC will melt in a fire, defeating the whole purpose. I used to work for a fire sprinkler company and we dident ever do much in the way of fire hoses, but we ran all of our trunk lines and mains in galvanized piping. It really depends on what type of application you are using fire hoses for. good luck.
Q:A building has a lightning rod installed on its top. From a distance of 500ft from the building the angle of elevation to the top of the rod is 74 degrees and the angle of elevation to the bottom of the rod is 66 degrees. How tall is the rod?I tried to create a series of equations about the nested right triangles in this problem, where h height of the rod and x height of the building.tan 134 (h+x/500) and tan 66 (x/500). When i tried to solve the series (finding x and subbing the value into the first equation in the series. I got a really high negative value. I tried doing the problem again using series of arctan 140 (500/h+x) and tan 66 (h/500). Solving this I managed to get a value of 333.044, for the height of the lightning rod. Which seems bizarrely tall. Any help to see where I am going wrong in this problem is GREATLY appreciated.Thank you.
Yes, silicone rubber is the mold material that will create multiple copies of the resin toy. Just lubricate the original/master and place it in a box. Pour the silicone rubber in carefully and avoid any bubbles forming as the toy is being covered. Once the rubber cures, carefully remove the original/master, then pour in the resin to make copies.
Q:my grandson said he was covered in the ingredients of a fire extinguisher but i would like to know if u can get high stoned etc from the ingredient

Employers are required to determine if PPE should be used to protect their workers. If PPE is to be used, a PPE program should be implemented. This program should address the hazards present; the selection, maintenance, and use of PPE; the training of employees; and monitoring of the program to ensure its ongoing effectiveness.
