product description

  • The molten silicon will then crystallize as it cools. By precisely controlling the temperature gradients, researchers have been able to grow very large grains, of up to hundreds of micrometers in size in the extreme case, although grain sizes of 10 nanometers to 1 micrometer are also common. In order to create devices on polysilicon over large-areas however, a crystal grain size smaller than the device feature size is needed for homogeneity of the devices. Another method to produce poly-Si at low temperatures is metal-induced crystallization where an amorphous-Si thin film can be crystallized at temperatures as low as 150 °C if annealed while in contact of another metal film such as aluminium, gold, or silver.Base stations - for mobil and internet provider

Q: Are there any maintenance requirements for solar panels?
Yes, solar panels do require some maintenance. Regular cleaning of the panels to remove dirt, dust, and debris is recommended to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, it is important to inspect the panels for any signs of damage or wear, and if necessary, have them repaired or replaced. Monitoring the system's performance and checking the connections regularly is also crucial for identifying any issues.
Q: What is the biggest solar panel you can buy?How much energy can it produce in kwh? Thanks :)
not really sure but you can check this....
Q: Can solar panels be used for powering Wi-Fi networks?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power Wi-Fi networks. Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, which can then be used to power various devices, including Wi-Fi routers. This allows for the establishment of Wi-Fi networks in remote locations or areas with limited access to electricity grids. Additionally, solar-powered Wi-Fi networks are environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on a sports stadium?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a sports stadium.
Q: My electric bill per month averages 800 kWh per month. I am looking at 65W solar panels. How many panels would I need to make my bill come to zero? I realize I also need an inverter to convert dc to ac.
There is always a lot of confusion on this question so I built a webpage to show people how to do the math and pick the right system size. Most all public utilities will trade you kWh for kWh and then either settle up with you at the end of the month or every 2 months. So one week you might have all rainy days but the next 3 weeks you have 0 hours of bright sun even in the winter. This means you have no need to put batteries on your system unless you have a lot of power outages. Then you only need a few hours of battery backup power. At most 24 hours.
Q: I was looking at thin flexible solar panels as solar panels 500w a option to upgrade a 20w solar panel I have permanently mounted to the roof of a home made camper van.Why I was thinking flexible is at just 2mm thin they can be glued down and being flexible they will follow the contour of the rounded shape of the roof of my camper (boxy standard solar panel spoils the lines a little)Another reason is no glass to brake when traveling on dirt tracks(though I am surprised mine hasn't broken yet after thousands of km on corrugated dirt roads). Finally there is a weight saving at only /3 the weight or less then a standard glass panel. There are different grades of flex PV some of the more expensive ones are very flexible with extremely thin backing at around .5mm The ones I was looking at are cheaper and at around 2mm with a thin flexible aluminum backing.$250 is about the going rate for 20w OKorder job. Below is a pic of a smaller one 60w or so.Has anyone had any experience with them?

Q: We see increasing, what appear to be, solar panels on electric poles?
I work in NJ and we started seeing them around our industrial park. I think it's probably some scam for the most part. Each panel isn't going to put out more than a few volts. Because they are so widely distributed about the only thing they might be good for is lighting a sodium bulb or something. A much more effective use if it was a serious / more efficient/effectively designed project, we'd probably be seeing farms of panels going up all over the place and on the tops of big-box buildings, but I'm not seeing alot of that.
Q: quot;Does it take more energy to produce a solar panel than what the same solar panel can generate in its useful lifetime?quot;
No. okorder /... Since then they have only improved. CdTe efficiencies have increased, partly by reducing material use (particularly the depth of the CdS layer)
Q: OK so how do these solar panels supplement the AC from the grid? Like do they invert the output of the solar panels and sync two AC sources together? If so how and with what? Or do they convert the AC from the grid to DC and then supplement and then invert it? If so how and with what? Thanks

Q: I'm looking into buying solar panels, there are all kinds of ranges of energy output...but my question is, when ti says...say 50 watts of power...does that mean 50 watts a day, an hour, a minute, what?
A 50-watt rating means the panel will produce 50 watts as long as the standard conditions are maintained. So if you had this bright sun and cool temperatures for 6 hours, the panel would deliver 50 x 6 = 900 watt hours, or a little shy of kilowatt-hour. Kilowatt-hours (kWh) is the reading on your electric bill. However, like most advertising, the 50-watt number is not realistic. They assume that the air surrounding the panel is very cold. 25 watts is a better number to use for this size of panel for engineering purposes.
