- Q:Who makes more annually? A car salesman or a real estate agent?
- Im a Car Salesman.... I hope Real Estate agents make more.
- Q:would like any advice on starting a real estate investment company in Milwaukee, Wi.
- yes. they are not making any more land so buy all you can!! even the farm lands are being over developed and it is not the ex farmer getting rich!!
- Q:How can I find all real estate auction houses in Chicago?
- Most real estate auctions are listed in your local newspaper under real estate auctions. You might also google real estate auctions followed by Chicago. Many sites would appear for your use. You would need to call to find out the date and time of any potential actions. You might also find out the requirement to bid at the auction. Some auctions require a real estate agent to accompany you, have 'a pre-approval letter from a local or national recognized mortgage lender, cash for a certain percentage of the sale price, cashier checks, checks from a local bank statements proving you have sufficient funds to close on a bid you were able to get. These are a few possible requirements that might of might be used. I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck. FIGHT ON
- Q:I'm 21 i have $600,000 i'm looking to invest asap!. I want to buy my Lamborghini lol!.Is there anyway i can invest my money in real estate asap if so how?
- If you hav'nt already, get the compariables for the condo. (like sold for the past 90 days) and find out what the market vlaue is (what other people have paid for a similiar condo) . Maybe the price is inflated or maybe it is a great deal at $270,000. Ask for the mortgage details and see at what price the seller can close at. if they owe $250,000 why waste everyones time. You really should knlow what the place is worth before you put in an offer.
- Q:I am changing careers and I want to obtain a real estate sales person license. I am considering Kaplan school as I need to take online classes. Thoughts, reviews or suggestions on this school? Does an employer care what school you get your license from?
- Law is the type of carrier that you will have to ALWAYS continue studying, updating, learning the new laws, etc. There are an insane amount of lawyers out there and the older we are the hardest it is to succeed in this field. Not to mention that like you said you will be in debt for something you are not sure you will get your money back for those loans + survive. I would go for the Real Estate or Loan Officer license because your investment is very little if any, most anyone out there can do it, the market is going to stabilize in about a year, and is very rewarding. (You won't have to defend a criminal knowing he/she is guilty) but rather help someone else fulfill a dream. Good luck!
- Q:I'm looking to get in the field of real estate appraisal school, but can't afford the fees .I have 4 children and trying to better their lives.can anyone tell me what would be a good school or a service that would help me.
- Real Estate courses are not expensive. I have never heard of a school that provides financial aid.
- Q:I used the agent to sell my house and he took to to some houses I was interested in buying. I signed a contract with him but want to know this. If I found a house on my own and went there and the agent never showed me the house (although he did send it to me after we looked at it) can I buy the house and cut the agent out of the commission even if I was in a contract. The seller will move on price more if we do not have an agent as it is a new home?
- You aren't being screwed, you're trying to screw the agent out of a commission you agreed to pay him in the contract. Besides, you need someone to cover your back in all the paperwork.
- Q:Ok here I go, I know I want to move to San Diego when im 18. I want to be a Real estate agent and get a degree in computers, (I don't know in what though.) So i figure that I can go to Real Estate School for five weeks, work at night at a nursing home(I have much expierence here since both my mom and bro have worked there, their whole lives), and go to school during the day plus work as a Real Estate Agent. So I guess what I'm asking is, is this possible? Is this a good plan to do Real Estate and get a degree in computers? So ya, any furthur help or comments is appreicated!
- Why do you want to be a real estate agent? Have you ever worked as a sales person? What about the profession is attractive to you? And what aptitude do you believe you have that would make you a success as a real estate agent? If you want real estate to be your career, why do you want a degree in computers? Why does the fact that your mom and brother worked in a nursing home give you experience in working in a nursing home? I guess by now you are probably pretty irritated with me, and I don't blame you, but I am deliberately trying to make you stop and think these things through thoroughly. I suggest you have a nice long talk with your career counselor at your high school and see if (1) he can arrange for you to job shadow a local realtor so that you can learn something about what the job really entails and (2) you can fine tune your aspirations for formal education. I live in San Diego. The real estate market here is cut throat. There are thousands and thousands of agents and agencies and while it may not be difficult to land a job--once you have your license--with a broker, you will only be paid based on commissions you earn (in most cases). A key attribute of a successful agent is his/her knowledge of neighborhoods, which would put you at a disadvatage for a while until you catch up knowing what's what. It is also very expensive to live here. Housing costs, including rentals are quite high. But all that aside: if it is something you really want, obviously you should go for it. But you have to have a much more specific plan and you must be realistic about how many challenges you are going to face and how long it is going to take before you reach your ultimate goal.
- Q:I'm thinking about taking a course in real estate appraisal. I have no experience in real estate. Can anyone tell me if this is a difficult course? Also, could you find work in the field?
- Yes it can be especially when u never taken rela estate before. i took that course and it was challangeing but it was a good course gave me some ideas. i didnt pass the course but i did learn a lot. i wouldnt mind taking it again and being more serious about it, But it is challenging so if u take the course i recommend that you are serious and do a lot of reading at least 2 hours a day then u will have a chance to pass it.
- Q:Hello,I am a college student majoring in accounting and I have found that I have a lot of free time. I was wondering if getting a real estate license would be worth the time. I am not exactly sure what I could use it for, but I was just thinking that even if I don't necessarily go into the field, that some of the information could be just useful in general. I was also looking to try and make some money through this venture, but as a full time student, I wouldn't be able to devote too much time to it.Thanks!
- If you want the knowledge, many universities and colleges offer real estate courses and diplomas or even night courses. Also, real estate boards (depending on which ones) allow people to audit their courses for members at a fee per course if you're interested in it. Doing this on the side as a student is not worthwhile (being an agent that is). Why? Because licensing alone is very expensive due to all the mandatory courses you have to take. Then there's the actual licensing exam and then the monthly fees you pay a brokerage to park your license there. Even if you're not actually selling but want to say next week or on a whim, you'll need to have your license parked with a brokerage and they don't let you do this for free or at a discount (unless you find a cheap brokerage). Also, you're required to take courses every cycle (for my board it's every 2 years) and update yourself on issues such as condo laws, legal updates, etc. So as a full time student, licensing is most likely not for you especially if you're only going to leave it for a just in case. Auditing courses or even taking night courses might be better and less expensive but still give you a basic understanding of real estate.
