1.Description:

Aluminium foil (or aluminum foil) is aluminium prepared in thin metal leaves with a thickness less than 0.2 millimetres (8 mils); thinner gauges down to 6 micrometres (0.24 mils) are also commonly used.In the United States, foils are commonly gauged in thousandths of an inch or mils. Standard household foil is typically 0.016 mm (0.63 mils) thick, and heavy duty household foil is typically 0.024 mm (0.94 mils). Thefoil is pliable, and can be readily bent or wrapped around objects. Thin foils are fragile and are sometimeslaminated to other materials such as plastics or paper to make them more useful. Aluminium foil supplantedtin foil in the mid 20th century.

3.Specification

Annual production of aluminium foil was approximately 800,000 tonnes (880,000 tons) in Europe and 600,000 tonnes (660,000 tons) in the U.S. in 2003. Approximately 75% of aluminium foil is used for packaging offoods, cosmetics, and chemical products, and 25% used for industrial applications (e.g. thermal insulation, cables and electronics).

Q:i don't have problems making other cookies but when i make oatmeal raisin cookies the bottom burns and the top is under baked or under cooked whatever its calledI use aluminum tin foil on the bottom and nothing else what can i do to make sure they bake evenly??????
Put the cookies directly on the cookie sheetThe foil may be holding too much heatPut the cookie sheet on a higher rack in the ovenThere's a lot of sugar in oatmeal cookies and the excess heat from the foil may be too hot for the bottoms, especially if you have the shiny side next to the cookiesBuy an oven thermometer and check to make sure the temp in the oven is the same as the setting on the knobAs soon as you take the tray out of the oven, remove the cookies to a cooling rackLeaving them on the cookie sheet will mean additional cooking on the bottom.
Q:I have an 08 tC and want to put a Cold Air Intake on it but I can't decide on Fujita or InjenThe Injen sounds better but isn't a metal tube defeating the purpose of Cold Air? What materials are they made out of? Anyone have any dyno sheets for both? ) Thanks!
hey broWhy are you limiting it to those 2 brands? They are both aluminum tube alloythey are both 3'' pipeIF i were you i'd really go with an AEM over these two brandsthe reason is this: the AEM is made out of 2.5'' tubing, which is much easier to fit into the tC's engine bayyou lose about 1hp using the AEM, but its nothing noticeable (you dont really notice anything but sound from a CAI)To install a Fujita or injen on it, you need to remove your drivers side wheel, wheel well liner, battery, battery mount, front bumper and your headlights.plus the other stuff you'll have to take off regardlessits a major painAnd i dont think you'll want to risk that with your beautiful new tC.The AEM one is also cheaperIts the same thing you'd get if you bough the TRD one from Toyota (its an AEM with TDR badges)SO its up to you, lose 1hp or spend 12 hours installing your CAItake it easy man!
Q:Hey i was wondering if i would be able to buy a new mac by appleWhat is the difference between a mac and a regular computer and prices please!!!
Here is a non-biased opinionApple makes extremely expensive computers and they constantly come out with new products forcing you to spend even more moneyNot to mention the only company that you can put the MAC OS on is an Apple computer, where if you want to use windows you can use any type of laptop from any manufacturerIn all honesty it comes down to whether using the MAC OS is worth spending an extra $300-1200 to you or notIf you go with a non apple laptop you have so many choices and you can pick any company or services that you wishYou can buy a nice laptop now a days with Windows XP or Vista on it from DELL or some other company from $500 - 800 where a decent mac laptop will run you anywhere from $999 - 2500.(not kidding)

Q:Have BMW used a cheap source to manufacture their alloy wheels,Live and learn cheap aluminium can have air pockets when cast into a shape. The problem is that the cracks go across the rims, this must be Dangerous,
I have NEVER seen a SQUARE jon boat
Q:If aluminum pans are bad for you, why not cooking with aluminum foil, or the aluminum inserts in rice cookers?
I really believe this has to do with moderationIf you ONLY COOK in aluminum pans - then I believe it will affect you adverselyIF, you cook OCCASIONALLY (I usually do this more for the summer or if I'm bringing food to someone else's home) then the damage should be minimal.
Q:I am looking for crafts to make using osage orangesI have a craft sale coming up and a bunch of the osage orangesThanks
Aluminum has an atomic number of 13, An mass number of 27 the atomic number tells the number of protons and of course the number of electronsSubtract the atomic number from the mass number, you get the number of neutronsAluminum is an isotope, it has different numbers of protons and neutrons.
Q:What's the difference between a non-stick and hard anodized pans?
Sweet potatoes help you lose weight
Q:how to control the inputs and outputs of aluminum?
Density Mass / Volume , or D M/V You're given D and M, you need to find V for the two blocks of metalFor nickel: V M/D (20 kg)/(8800 kg/m?) 1/440 m? volume of nickel block For aluminium: V M/D (20 kg)/(2700 kg/m?) 1/135 m? volume of aluminium By inspecting the volumes, you should see that the aluminium block has the greater volumeDifference 1/135 - 1/440 you calculate it
