3.Features of pvc pipes :

1) Light weight, easy to load and unload: PVC pipe is very light, convenient to handle loading unloading, and installing.
2) Good chemicals and drugs resistance: PVC pipe has its excellent resistance to the erosion caused by acids and alkalines, a great help to the chemical industries.
3) Small resistance to fluidity: The smooth surface reduces resistance to the fluids. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009, much less than other pipes, Under same discharges, smaller cabibre of the pipe can be uesd.
4) Strong mechanical strength: Good resistance to water pressure, outside impact and pressure, is satisfied under any conditions.
5) Good electrical insulation: excellent insulation nature against electricity. the pvc pipe can be served as conduits and pipes in construction cable and wire.
6) Water quality unaffected: The solution tests on the PVC pipe show no affect on water quality when the water flows through is. It is considered the best piping material for running water works.
7) Simple installation: Very easy to connect, thus much time and laborcost may be saved.

4.Application of pvc pipes:

1) Structure Engineering, home water supply and drainage
2) Water drainage/supply system
3) for Agriculture Irrigation, aquaculture

Q: Are plastic tubes lightweight?
Yes, plastic tubes are lightweight.
Q: i got water leakin on the driver floorboard and i figured it was the drain tube but i cant find it to save my life. anybody have an idea? any help is appreciated. thanks
OMG we spent a good 40 minutes trying to find the one on a Galant. Look under the dash on the driver's side towards the center up by the front firewall. Up and above to the right of the gas pedal. The left side of the big black plastic airbox is hopefully right there, if it's not covered up in trim panels, and there is the black plastic elbow tube coming from the box then bending forward through the firewall. Use that point of reference to go on the engine side and try to find it poking through the firewall. It only sticks out maybe 1/4 of an inch. Might be some metal hydraulics in the way. Probably a full arm length down, and that's with you draped over the car. It's a nightmare to get at, but it's doable once you find it and then find a way to snake your arm in from underneath. I used a long plastic tube taped to the blow tip of an air compressor and fed it in to the drain tube. Some people say stick a wire in , but I found the 90 degree bend in the tube on the inside made that worthless.
Q: I am doing a project and i have a plastic tube that need to go in circles so i need to straighten it. Any Ideas? I need this fast please. :)
hair dryer on low
Q: Are buried plastic pipes covered with sand?
Soft soil foundation treatment according to the design requirements. It should be a homogeneous bedding cushion. The drain pipe seems to be more strict, made 400 double bellows, is the following 100 beans stone coarse sand cushion, pipe top 500 fill sand. This procedure requires that 150 thick sand cushions be made when the channel is in debris and the rock is at the base.
Q: I want to bleed my clutch but I was wondering if I can do it without the plastic tube that goes on the bleed nipel??? Help?
Yes, but it is a bit messy. Same procedure - person A opens the nipple about 1/2 turn, person B presses the clutch pedal down, A closes the nipple finger tight, B pulls the pedal up with his foot, repeat.... Use rags, paper towels, shop towels, or whatever to soak up the brake fluid as it comes out. An important note is that brake fluid is subject to spontaneous combustion when soaked up. (Brake fluid is a notorious part of the arsonist's toolbox.) Wet the soaked rags with water and seal them in a zip-lock bag or something else to keep air out before disposing of them.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for HVAC systems?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for HVAC systems. Plastic tubes, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE), are commonly used for various applications in HVAC systems, including drainage, condensate lines, and refrigerant lines. These plastic tubes offer advantages like durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation, making them a suitable choice for HVAC installations. However, it is important to follow industry standards and guidelines when selecting and installing plastic tubes in HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
Q: We just got my dad an oxygen tank and we need to connect 5/8 tubing to regular (standard) oxygen tubing. Where do I but the part to connect the tubing? Do they even make something to connect the two? If not how would you go about connecting them?
It might help to know what kind of tubing you are working with (both ends). For metal there are various size reducers (flared and threaded). For rubber there are probably push on reducers, plastic may be a bit more difficult.
Q: How do you prevent plastic tubes from warping in direct sunlight?
One way to prevent plastic tubes from warping in direct sunlight is by using UV-stabilized plastic materials. These materials contain additives that protect the plastic from the harmful effects of UV rays, ensuring that the tubes maintain their shape and integrity even when exposed to sunlight for extended periods. Additionally, providing shade or covering the tubes with a protective layer can also help prevent warping by reducing the direct exposure to sunlight.
Q: At night my hamster wakes up and plays and stuff, well he has these plastic tubes that he can climb up to get to different areas of his cage, he likes to chew on them. My only problem is that it is REALLY loud and I hate the scraping sound it makes. I don't want to take out the tubes because then he would have nothing to play in. And I don't have the money to get him a new cage/glass aquarium and I really would like him to stay with the cage he has now, it's an all plastic cage except the metal bars to keep him in,lol, the brand is Super Pet Critter Trail if you want to loo it up to see what I'm talking about. Me and my mom have tried rubbing lemon juice on it but he liked the taste -.- please help?
You can get this stuff called bitter apple spray that tastes bad but won't hurt them. Some pet stores have some for small animals, but the dog stuff is really the same thing so if that's all you can find, go for it. It's usually in the dog remedy aisle (with vitamins, hip meds, etc.) Do what the first person said and put it on a cotton ball and wipe it on the bars/plastic. And I agree with what someone else said, maybe he likes to chew on plastic. I don't think any plastic is okay for them to ingest, but then again maybe they're not ingesting it. I work at a pet store and all of our small animals chew up their plastic igloos like crazy, and none have died from digestive/stomach problems. So maybe try one of those? One the right size for a dwarf hamster is like $3-$4. You could try giving him a Nylabone or a Greenies dog treat, those both have a plastic-like texture. If you get a Nylabone I think i'd steer away from the meat-flavored ones. Also, what kind of food are you feeding him? If it's the seed-based kind, maybe if you fed him lab blocks he'd get some of the gnawing out of his system that way. Good luck!
Q: Does anyone know if i can run a aftermarket air filter right off of my Mass air flow sensor and my stock intake tube down to my turbo? I have a 1998 Audi A4 1.8 turbo
Yes you can as long as it is all silled off tight from the air filter back MY 08 <demo camaro that i race at drag tracks ..has a custom home made system......with ram air .....my air fillters are on the roof of the car I just got some tubing ...cut a hoe in the old air box just big Enif for the houses and ran it to the roof..i did all this for about 250 but i chromed it out ......Just make sure ur olny pullin air that came threw the filter some cars will wig out if the air flow isnt just right JUST to let you know that if ur check engine light or such comes on it mayb bc of the computers pressure/vacuum readings but most of the time this does not happen example <lets just say If ur computer thinks it should be running at 2.0 but ur getting 1.0 or 3.0 the check engine light may pop on??but most likely not and just to let u know if u remove all that junkie plastic tubing and replace it with metal intake lines it will drop ur running temp ..and give u a lil better fuel mileage ..and hp I hope iv helped
