- What is the lens material? If it's CR-39, no problem. If it's polycarbonate, no way. If it's got an Anti-reflective coat, nope. If you want to have brand new lens cut for the frame, your friendly neighborhood optician can do it for you. Read the question again please. The questioner seems to be asking if he can remove the tint from the sunglasses and use them for regular glasses. Note: These are already prescription lenses. He can remove tint from CR-39, but not from poly. Edit: RP: We read the question differently- I see what you mean now with your answer and agree.
- Q: whenever i do triceps the pain increases until my elbow just gives outi think it has to do with something popping near or around my elbow whenever i do triceps.
- You have listed the answer yourself. Just switch off your mains for a second or two.

- A material through which nearly all light passes is Ans: transparent. The amount of energy in a sound wave determines all of the following except Ans: pitch. Force multiplied by the distance the force moves an object is called Ans: work. Pascal's principle is used in Ans: a hydraulic press. What two quantities do you need to calculate momentum? Ans: force and mass The number of times a machine multiplies the effort force is the Ans: horsepower.

- Planes do have small cameras now. Gulfstream 450 and 550's have 7 external cameras counting the flir (forward looking infrared) on the nose. many new airliners are being build with cameras now too The reason most older planes don't have cameras is not because the camera was too big, but because there was no good way to get the information to the pilots. cockpits use every last bit of available space, adding a dedicated monitor was just out of the question. Now there is the technology to use an mfd (multi function display) to display external cameras, then flip the screen to other information, like changing windows on your computer.
- Q: One church in my city was struck by lightning. The Cathedral in my city has a new lightning rod installed after renovations were done in the 1990s. Can someone tell me what a lightning rod is, and how it protects buildings?
- Mike is right. It is possible to make your own holograms at home, a lot of people have done it, but it's more of an involved hobby, not a one off type of thing. Sort of like how photography was when you needed your own darkroom equipment and know-how. You could make a hand drawn hologram. It's not really a hologram at all but creates a 3D effect with stuff that you can easily find and is probably more in line with a graphic design class(as opposed to a physics class). You basically draw 2 perspective images, one for each eye so they are slightly different perspectives. Then you use a scribe-compass to create a series of arcs in a reflective material. Depending on the depth you want the 3D to appear, you adjust the spacing of the compass. When viewed, the light reflecting off the scribed marks recreate a hologram looking image. There are plenty of tutorials and examples online.
- Q: I've just moved to NZ about 2 months ago,i'm planning to buy a car.The car that I want to buy has a very low ground clearance.I'm just wondering, are the road coinditions in New Zealand good ? Are there potholes and tall speed bumps like in UK ?
- It's either an allergic reaction or irritation bumps. Take some benadryll, use a topical cream if you have one and just wait.
- Q: I want to pour clear resin into a squatty, square glass pitcher about six inches high, as if pouring water into it to serve, but then I want to rest three or four utensils in it, vertically, as if they were soaking in the water, but of course, I want the resin to harden and keep the pieces immobile. What resin should I use and will it have any harmful impact on the glass, pressure-wise? Thanks for any help.
- They're not as easily visible as Uranus is both smaller and further away.
- Q: how could you prevent a fire in the home being caused by an electrical fault?
- Dig to loosen the soil as deep and wide as the top part of the plant will get. If soil is hard and clayey mix in good quality potting mix. Add an inch layer on top of composted food scrapes/plant materials/worm castings. Mix in. Don't step on soil beds after loosened. Beds can be made about 4foot wide so you can reach the center, beds against fences or walls 2 foot wide. Walking paths in between 1 foot wide. Keep seeds and sprouts under 2weeks-1month old moist. Then water deeply so the water gets deep into the soil and infrequently letting the top of the soil dry in between watering to try to encourage deeper roots so you don't have to water as often. Underground irrigation could also be used to try to encourage deeper roots. Don't water the top part of the plant, only the soil/roots. Water an inch past the furthest root/branch, not just by the stem/trunk. Use rain water for irrigation. Don't let sticks/leaves in rain barrel. Consider plastic tube drip irrigation with automatic timer and rain sensor solar powered. keeping soil covered with mulch, chopped dead/fallen leaves, untreated organic non-toxic non-moldy wood chips(not walnut wood because its toxic to some plants), hay, dead grass, moss, or low-growing ground cover/cover crop(ex:herniaria glabra green carpet rupturewort) helps keep moisture in soil, and help prevent weeds. dont put mulch against the trunk, it damages the plant. Good job :D
- Q: Do smart cards and Rfid access cards use the same cocept/technology for functioning? Which is more effective? Is the GPS system anywhere connected to them?
- If you want to go with non-reflective, non-glare, I'd go for velvet or velveteen. My other choice would be wool flannel. Polyester is a fiber and can be made into all sorts of fabrics, from sheer chiffon to upholstery fabrics. The fibers are generally spun to be rounded (though other shapes are possible, including trilobal) and usually do reflect some light, particularly from flash photography.
- Q: I just watched this and think it's really cool. How do they morph people like this? What do you think about it?
- Stainless steel is more reflective in the sunlight (unless it has a satin finish). Stainless steel will be less corroded by salt over time too. Blued barrels affer the same performance and (to me) are more beautiful. However they can be scuffed easier. Stainless (hence the name) is harder to scratch. I recomened either one. Get whichever you find cheaper!
