- Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to high-pressure applications?
- Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to high-pressure applications. They are designed to withstand various degrees of pressure and can be used in a wide range of applications where high-pressure conditions are present. However, the specific type and thickness of the plastic sheet will determine its exact resistance capabilities.
- Q: Are plastic sheets resistant to chemicals?
- Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to chemicals.
- Q: On multiple care sheets I have read that Corn Snakes and Ball Pythons and other Snakes like that could live in Transparent plastic storage Boxes but how would you use heat mats and humidifiers.I also went to an animal rescue and they said, you could keep them in boxes long term and they have rows of these with snakes in and they were at Gullivers World with a species of a Young Boa Constrictor that was about 4ft long and in an approximate size box of 2ft x 1 1/2 x 1/2ft.
- unless they are designed with proper air ventilation unlike aquariums, etc they are NOT good to use long term ... EXO terrarium or wood with glass fronts proper air vents are better, wood the best ! Electric heat tapes, mats, rocks are NOT good to use tho if placed on a wall the tape mats are OK just not the best - anything a reptile has to lay on for warmth is dangerous to them. In a store or rescue they don't plan on keeping them long so it's a little different then when you own them as pets and many breeders use the plastic etc for temp housing as well but when you have a lot of reptiles most just heat the rooms they are kept in rather than trying to heat each individual habitat / vivarium !! A lot of smaller snakes can live in vivariums of 24x24 inch their whole lives , it's when you get into bigger like Red Tails, etc that you need 5 - 6 foot vivariums ( NOT, aquariums or plastic containers < unless you add proper vents to the plastic kind - which cannot be done with glass aquariums ! ) TC

- Q: Are plastic sheets heat resistant?
- Yes, plastic sheets can be heat resistant depending on the type of plastic used. Some plastic sheets, such as polycarbonate or acrylic, have high heat resistance and can withstand moderate to high temperatures without melting or deforming. However, it is important to note that not all plastic sheets are heat resistant, and some may melt or warp under high temperatures.
- Q: How do plastic sheets handle static electricity?
- Plastic sheets are generally good insulators and can accumulate static electricity. However, certain types of plastic sheets, such as anti-static or static dissipative sheets, are specifically designed to minimize static charge buildup and discharge it safely to prevent damage to sensitive electronic components or materials.
- Q: im after some plastic sheets at least 2mm thick im making me own pet tank for snails if you get me the bigger n better the sheets n cheaper the better do you know any good onlines places to order from
- physique Paint Lube Slip and Slide finished physique Oil Massages Chocolate Sauce Wax Golden Showers Whip Cream Play finished physique airborne dirt and dust mask the opportunities are relatively endless... something you may think of no longer desirous to stain your sheets/mattress could be in this checklist.
- Q: Do plastic sheets have any impact on energy efficiency?
- Yes, plastic sheets can have a positive impact on energy efficiency. They can act as a barrier to prevent air leakage, thus reducing drafts and heat loss in a space. They can also help in insulating windows and doors, reducing the transfer of heat or cold. Additionally, plastic sheets can be used to create a vapor barrier, preventing moisture buildup and potential energy loss due to condensation.
- Q: I am making a craft project. I went to a craft store and purchased a yard of plastic in the fabric dept. I cut two 6X6 pieces and glued them with a water resistant glue. I allowed 24hrs. I then put water inside and a few hrs later noticed it was soaking through the plastic and leaking. I need a glue that will hold water inside. I hope this clarifies my question.
- I have the same problem. I have tried melting some of the plastic and pressing it between the sheets. This only seemed to melts the sheets also. I have used Gorrilla Glue, Silicone, Super Glue and Epoxy and have had no luck. Double sided tap sorta worked but it takes a ton of it. So far the best thing I have found is just using Duct tape. It's ugly and falls off in the heat of the summer but does work temporarily. I will definitely buy an iron and try that. That seems like the best idea yet. I did visit an adhessive manufacturers website and they say there is nothing invented yet that bonds sheeting together permanently. I find this hard to believe. I have used a vacumme sealer for freezer bags and it works wonderfully on really thin plastic but the thicker sheeting I need and it has no affect on that.
- Q: In my 8th grade art class my teacher had us do a project that involved contrast. We had to use this type of paper and cut out parts of the white so that the black would show through and there would be contrast between the full white and full black areas. I can't remember the name of it and would like to get some for hobby purposes. It was a black sheet of something that was sort of plastic-like and was somewhat reflexive. Then directly on top of that was a sheet of normal paper stuck to the black sheet. If anyone could tell me the name of this paper that would be great. Also if there are any common stores that I could get it at. Maybe Michaels?
