Q: I purchased a dipstick oil heater and I cannot use it with a plastic tube. I want to make sure I do not have a plastic tube before I use it. Thanks.
Use a magnetic pan heater, make sure it's not aluminum
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to mold and mildew?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to mold and mildew due to their non-porous nature and lack of organic materials that promote mold growth.
Q: I am trying to design a tube that needs a lid which will have rubber seals. therefore i need to figure out what the series roughness should be on the tube where the rubber seals need to sort of slide in. the tube is about 12.5in long and will be smooth 1.5in in on the inside and the cover goes 1.5in into the tube when put on the tube. This is for work, i am just trying to finish my drawings for this product.
63 u/in will be fine.
Q: A very small uniformly charged plastic ball is placed on top of another in a test tube, as the figure shows: http://bildr.no/view/1194610The balls are in an equilibrium situation with a distance d from each other. If the charge on each ball is doubled, the distance between the balls in the test tube will be;A) √(2d)B) 2dC) 4dD) 8d
The balls are in an equilibrium situation with a distance d from each other. If the charge on each ball is doubled, the distance between the balls in the test tube will be; The top ball is suspended in the air, so the net force is 0 N. This means the electrostatic force is equal to the weight of the ball. Fs = m* g Fs = k * q1 * q2 ÷ d^2 k * q1 * q2 ÷ d^2 = m * g d^2 = (k * q1 * q2) ÷ (m * g) d^2 = (q1 * q2) * [k ÷ (m * g)] d = √(q1 * q2) * √[k ÷ (m * g)] √[k ÷ (m * g)] is a constant. So, the distance between the 2 balls is directly proportional to the square root of the product of the charges. Let’s double the charges and see what happens to d d = √(2q1 * 2q2) * √[k ÷ (m * g)] d = √(4 * q1 * q2) * √[k ÷ (m * g)] d = 2 * √(q1 * q2) * √[k ÷ (m * g)] Doubling the charge, doubles the distance! the answer is B = 2 * d
Q: For some time now, my windshield washer ejector have barely been spitting out any fluid. I finally checked under the hood and it seems that the tubing needs replacement. Specifically, the plastic connectors that split the tube between the left and right ejector. Does anyone know where I can get this part.. or the whole tubing/connector set? It seems like an easy fix and I would hate to take it to the dealer (and be charged a ridiculous amount) for such a simple thing. Thanks!
probably at like auto zone or napa, some place like that but i guess if you need a certain type then you might have to go back to the dealer, thats the same car i have, mines silver, i dont really like it but oh well
Q: If a kid has to be intubated due to a respiratory infection, what do they do? Do they keep you asleep until you can breathe on your own while you're intubated or can you be awake while the tube is in? How long do they usually leave it in? How do they put it in if you're in respiratory distress?
When someone needs to be intubated, they place narrow plastic tube down into their throat, just above the patients lungs. This can be done in respiratory distress. How long the tube stays in place all depends on how sick the patient is. That can be days to weeks. The patient is usually sleeping to help them breath more easily with the ventilator, but if someone is able to remain comftorble, they may allow them to be more awake.
Q: I added a bit too much Oil into the engine, so I decide that I would be able to suck the oil out with some tubing. However part of the plastic tubing fell off into the dipstick hole and it possibly in the oil pan now. I call some mechanic, and ended up having some say that it will damage the engine and some saying that it will not effect the engine. Can someone give me a more in-depth explanation. On how I can remove the plastic tubing? and How is will effect the engine? Should I even drive it?
If the tubeing was long enough, you might be able to fish it out with a very long bent wire with a small enough hook to go inside the tube you droped in the dip stick hole.
Q: What are the different types of plastic tubes?
There are several types of plastic tubes, including PVC tubes, polyethylene tubes, polycarbonate tubes, acrylic tubes, and nylon tubes. These tubes vary in their composition, properties, and applications, making them suitable for a wide range of industries such as construction, plumbing, automotive, and medical.
Q: At night my hamster wakes up and plays and stuff, well he has these plastic tubes that he can climb up to get to different areas of his cage, he likes to chew on them. My only problem is that it is REALLY loud and I hate the scraping sound it makes. I don't want to take out the tubes because then he would have nothing to play in. And I don't have the money to get him a new cage/glass aquarium and I really would like him to stay with the cage he has now, it's an all plastic cage except the metal bars to keep him in,lol, the brand is Super Pet Critter Trail if you want to loo it up to see what I'm talking about. Me and my mom have tried rubbing lemon juice on it but he liked the taste -.- please help?
Chewing Tube
Q: The iron pipe is rusty. How can the plastic pipe be connected?
There must be a pair of wire, wire to wire to the kind of anti Water Leakage tape, a plastic pipe, both ends of the thread that has to be. General household water is in charge of four, the first end pipe periphery must be screwed.
