Q: I was wonder If Plastic Pluming Tubes Yes WITH end caps would work for pontoons if you know tell me Thx -Zac
Yes okorder hope this helps
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for hydroponic systems?
Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for hydroponic systems. They are commonly used as a cost-effective and versatile option for transporting water and nutrients to the plants in a hydroponic setup. Plastic tubes are lightweight, easy to install, and resistant to corrosion, making them a practical choice for hydroponic gardening.
Q: Plastic tubing is touching compressor (or close to it) and gets hot and brittle. I recoupled a bad spot 1 year ago and it is leaking again. I would like to replace the tubing from the back of the refrig (solenoid) to the water filter. Any ideas on what material to use? I would like to use copper line thru the bottom of the refrig if not all the way to the water filter, but don't know how to connect it to the solenoid. Also would pex (1/4 OD) line be a better (albeit more expensive) choice for this?
You can replace the line with copper. If the connection point is metal you'll want to use a brass compression nut (brass) with a (brass) compression sleeve (know as a ferrules) if the connection point is plastic you'll want to use a nylon compression fitting. The metal ferrules one wont work as you would need to crank the you know what out out it to make it seal, and run the risk of stripping the plastic threads. The nylon takes less torque to seal if that makes sense as its a more dense material. You should be able to get all the parts from a local hardware store or big box store such as lowes or homedepot.
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for use in the chemical industry?
Plastic tubes are indeed suitable for use in the chemical industry. They offer several advantages such as resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and high temperatures. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, cost-effective, and provide a smooth inner surface for efficient fluid flow. However, the specific type of plastic used should be carefully selected based on the chemical being transported and the operating conditions, to ensure compatibility and safety.
Q: What is the maximum temperature plastic tubes can withstand without deformation?
The maximum temperature that plastic tubes can withstand without deformation varies depending on the specific type of plastic used. However, most common plastics can typically withstand temperatures ranging from 100 to 150 degrees Celsius without significant deformation. It is important to consult the manufacturer's specifications or conduct specific testing to determine the maximum temperature tolerance of a particular plastic tube.
Q: While changing the toilet paper my daughter accidentally flushed down the toilet the inner rod that goes through the cardboard tube to keep the roll in the holder. Unfortunately it’s large enough to cause a blockage so I need to get it out. It’s also made of hollow plastic, and will float – so the fact that I can’t see it means it is at least on the other side of the U-bend. A wire hook won’t help, there’s nothing to hook on to. How can I get it out?
Take the whole toilet off the floor and turn it upside down. OR .............raise your arm above your head, shake your hand from side to side, and wave good bye !!
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for greenhouse construction?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for greenhouse construction.
Q: A thin plastic tube like aquarium pump tubing. Could you do it if you could guide it properly?
Probably, for some kind of medical procedure... That's kinda disgusting though.
Q: How do you prevent plastic tubes from discoloration?
To prevent plastic tubes from discoloration, you can try a few measures. Firstly, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or harsh UV rays as they can cause discoloration. Secondly, store the tubes in a cool and dry place, away from extreme temperatures and humidity. Additionally, it is advisable to clean the tubes regularly using mild soap or detergent and warm water to remove any dirt or stains that may contribute to discoloration. Finally, consider using protective coatings or sealing products specifically designed for plastic materials to provide an extra layer of protection against discoloration.
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to oil and grease?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to oil and grease.
