FAQ of Poly 230W Solar Panel CE/IEC/TUV/UL Certificate

(1) Can you offer the test report of the module?

Sure. All the solar modules must pass necessary tests including EL test and ultra-red test and other visual test of the apperance, and the test report presents all the detailed data of the modules.

(2) How  to confirm about the quantity and the type of solar module?

It depends on the solar system where  you want to put into use the solar modules. We have experienced engineers to design for your order and you need to give more information to fix the details.

Q: I'm looking for a solar panel that has something you can plug thigs into, I don't know let's say grow lights. I want something that these lights can plug directly into and I can't find any online. If there is any I would like to know of the cheapest and best quality, I know that's an oxymoron but still. The lights are 600 watts so I need something somewhat strong. Thanks
Solar panels only put out electricity when they are in the sunlight. If you need electricity after peak solar hours, you will need a battery storage system or a connection to the grid. You can run a DC device directly off of solar panels if the device uses the same voltage and amperage that the panel puts out. Your 600W lights use a ballast that takes AC current and will not work with the typical panel. Also, a 600W light will take at least 3 high output/high efficiency panels to run, and you will need more than that if you want to store energy in batteries. You are talking at least 60 sq. ft. of solar on your roof. Aside from the power you need, you are also asking for an AC current, while most solar panels put out a DC current. This is what inverters are for. There are some newer panels that output AC, but you are still talking about a lot of PV to power your needs.
Q: I am completely ignorant on this subject. I was just wondering out of curiosity of how many solar panels and equipment that it would take to run a central ac for a 2500 sq ft home and a pump for a medium sized pool. I'm talking running ac for like 8 hours a day to keep around 65-70 degrees and running the pump 24/7. Just looking for a general ballpark answer.
Solar panels are not going to be able to run a pool pump 24/7. They will only produce their rated electricity for 4 to 8 hours a day. For the balance you will need a grid connection or a battery backup. Running the AC would require different power levels depending upon humidity, outside temperature levels, solar gain for the house, and insulation levels. An underground house in Maine will be much easier to AC than a Glass house in Arizona. First find the power requirements. If you had the existing equipment they will have a label with the power requirements or the minimum breaker required if nothing else. For example the pool pump may require a 0 amp 240 breaker while the AC may require a 30 amp 240 breaker. That would be 2400 watts for the pump and (30 x 240) 7200 watts for the AC or a total of 9.6kW each hour of operation. (max) You will next need to find the rated capacity of the solar panels. If each panel were rated at 300 watts then you would need 32 panels for the daytime use and perhaps more to fill in a battery backup. All the numbers are very rough estimates.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on government buildings?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on government buildings. In fact, many governments around the world have already embraced solar energy and installed photovoltaic systems on their buildings as part of their commitment to renewable energy and sustainability. This helps reduce the carbon footprint of government operations and serves as a positive example for the community.
Q: Solar panels are all divided into these squares, forming a grid like pattern. Is it possible to have a single piece of solar panel?
Yeah, but if something happened to it you would have to replace the whole thing. This way you only need to replace a small bit of it if there's a problem. Plus, they're easier to transport.
Q: I am interested in solar energy, but am not sure how eficiant it would be in the northwest? Any comments would be apriciated.
The solar rating of your area is Good so I wouldnt see the reason not to use it. In my area solar rating is very good I get all evergy from it plus even selling it. My payback time was very quick but... If you are not in a hurry or cant afford to spend a lot, wait till end of the next year when the new flexible panels are coming to the market. They are suppose to be a lot cheaper, enviromental friendly more effective than the ones on the market now. Check out MY Estimator. I think for USA users its the best help on the net. You'll see your costs, tax incentives can get info about local PRO's aswell. Often people are shy to ask quotes but solar is overpriced at the moment so spend your time finding the best deals. Also check where panels are made, their efficency; warranty is usually 20 to 25years. Surf the net- OKorder, OKorder then check companies who sell solar panels. Some even offer price fix if you see other place selling with better price. Good luck!
Q: i need to make a solar panel model for a project in science and i would like to know how to build a easy model at home that wont cost alot
There are different types of solar panels. Photovoltaic for electricity, and thermal for heating water, and passive for heating air. So it would help if you would say what type you are going to build. Theere are a lot of videos on you tube on how to make solar panels. use the link below.
Q: I got a really great deal on 2 houses because they were fixer-uppers. I'm living in one and the other I'm renting out. However, the previous owner did everything himself in 950 95, so needless to say, things are not to todays standards. Both houses need rewiring (there are no ceiling lights, few outlets, and mine has two old fuse boxes and the other has a breaker box but it pops the breaker a lot). The only reason they are still functional is because both houses use natural gas for water and heat, so otherwise, they electrical work is getting us by, but who knows for how long. I thought that maybe instead of redoing the electric, that I could just add solar panels to compensate for the small electric boxes. Also, since I would have to hire electricians to do all the work, which would be more cost effective (not including the decrease in utilities since I don't pay the utilities in the rental anyways)?
No. solar panels would not solve your problems and are usually not cost effective. Solar panels will not help to compensate for undersized electrical service. You would still have to upgrade the existing service. Once that is done you should have no problems and all the electricity you need would come from your power company. Have an electrician come out and do an inspection and tell you what all needs upgrading. Solar panels would save you money on the monthly power bill but the cost to install them would be higher than your savings. If it made economic sense to have solar power then everybody would be doing it. That's why you see very few houses with solar panels on top.
Q: Can solar panels be installed on a high-rise building?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a high-rise building. In fact, high-rise buildings are ideal candidates for solar panel installations due to their large surface areas and access to sunlight. However, certain factors such as structural considerations, building ownership, and local regulations need to be taken into account before installation.
Q: What happens to solar panels during extreme weather conditions?
During extreme weather conditions, such as hurricanes or hailstorms, solar panels can be damaged. Strong winds can cause them to be torn off or destroyed, while hail can crack or break the glass surface of the panels. Additionally, heavy snowfall can cover the panels, reducing their ability to generate electricity. However, most solar panels are designed to withstand various weather conditions, and manufacturers often perform rigorous testing to ensure their durability and resistance.
Q: Do solar panels increase property value?
Yes, solar panels can increase property value. Studies have shown that homes with solar panels tend to sell for higher prices compared to similar homes without them. The energy cost savings, environmental benefits, and potential tax incentives associated with solar panels make them an attractive feature for potential buyers, ultimately boosting the property's value.
