Q: What is the level of transparency of colored plastic tubes?
The level of transparency of colored plastic tubes varies depending on the specific color and thickness of the tube. Generally, colored plastic tubes are less transparent than clear ones, as the pigments used to achieve the color can reduce the level of light transmission. However, some colors may still allow for a certain degree of translucency.
Q: So I was eating GoGurt yogurt. And I think I accidentally swallowed a part or the jagged part on the top of the tube. I don't think it was very big. I'm guessing the size was the size of half of a dime or a 1/4 of a dime. I know this doesn't sound too bad, since I've heard people who swallowed pennies, then they were fine, but I don't know how to get rid of it. I can still breathe and drink normally, but when I talk for too long, my throat starts to hurt a little. So far, I've tried drinking lots of water, swallowing some food to push it down (rice. :D), coughing, vomiting, and clearing my throat but I think it's still there. I'm actually not sure if it's still there or if it is gone, or just made a cut so it hurts. But I don't want to go to the doctors or ER, I'm poor. Are there any other ways to get the plastic out? Oh and if I leave it there, how long will it take for it to go down my throat and digest?
I doubt there's anything solid still in your throat. The pharynx in lined with mucus membrane and it's a sensitive tissue as well. It's made to allow things to slide through but it's also sensitive as a protective measure. I expect some very small area in your oropharynx or laryngopharynx was mildly irritated. It will resolve spontaneously. Did you for some reason think this might be the first time this has happened in the history of man? (I'm just teasing you) Don't force the coughing, vomiting (this raises new issues) or throat-clearing anymore, that serves only to further and prolong the irritation. Ignore it and by tomorrow afternoon, you'll suddenly realize your throat no longer hurts. @ Daniel, neither of what you list is CPR. I think you're trying to describe abdominal thrusts and a mouth sweep. These measures can be utilized along with CPR when they are appropriate. You've demonstrated clearly that not only do you do not know to perform either one but that you do not understand the purpose of them.
Q: Hi, my bike wheel used to have a plastic liner to protect the inner tube from the spoke nuts, which has since been lost, are these replaceable, or will the inner tube be fine without one? Thanks.
M R is on the mark, also in a pinch an old inner tube will work but you should really go to a shop and buy the correct part.
Q: What is the name of the popsicle that comes in a plastic tube and breaks in half?
Flav-or-ice or Pop Ice. Both are the same thing, just different brands.
Q: Im thinking that i want to give my betta more space. Im thinking of using some type of plastic tube, cutting a hole in his plastic bowl, cutting a hole in another plastic bowl and connecting with the tube, then connecting the tube to the bowls with aquarium silicone. One will be the flat on two sides one, but his current one his round. Will this safely work? I can only imagine cleaning it, it will be so much harder. I just need answers on this, no fish care responses etc. if you do i will report you for not answering what i asked.
Look up water brige, use a very wide tube, like 5 inches or more, get a filter heated 5 galllon tank for both sides of the tank set up.
Q: Do plastic tubes have any limitations in terms of moisture resistance?
Yes, plastic tubes have limitations in terms of moisture resistance. While many plastic tubes are designed to be moisture resistant, prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to degradation of the material, compromising its effectiveness. Additionally, some types of plastics may not be suitable for use in highly humid or wet environments as they may absorb moisture or become brittle. It is important to consider the specific plastic material and its intended application when assessing its moisture resistance capabilities.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for gas transportation?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for gas transportation. Plastic tubes such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are commonly used for the transmission of gases like natural gas. These tubes are lightweight, cost-effective, and have excellent resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for gas transportation in various industries and applications.
Q: Can plastic tubes be used for agriculture applications?
Yes, plastic tubes can indeed be used for various agriculture applications. They are commonly used for irrigation systems, drainage systems, and to protect young plants from pests. Plastic tubes are flexible, durable, and resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for agricultural use.
Q: How do you store chemicals in plastic tubes?
Chemicals can be stored in plastic tubes by ensuring they are properly labeled, tightly sealed, and kept in a secure and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. It is important to choose tubes made of chemically resistant plastic material suitable for the specific chemicals being stored, and to follow any specific guidelines provided by the manufacturer. Additionally, it is crucial to keep an inventory of the chemicals stored in the tubes and regularly inspect them for any signs of degradation or leaks.
Q: What are the advantages of using plastic tubes in the industrial packaging industry?
There are several advantages of using plastic tubes in the industrial packaging industry. First, plastic tubes are lightweight, which makes them easy to handle and transport. Second, plastic tubes provide excellent protection for the contents inside, as they are resistant to impact, moisture, and other external factors. Additionally, plastic tubes can be customized to fit specific product requirements, making them versatile for various industries. Lastly, plastic tubes are cost-effective, as they are typically cheaper to produce compared to other packaging materials.
