Q: he, of course used a new needle, but all he did was changed the needle and the plastic tube, and was on to the next person. Is this considered 'santitary'? I need professional answers PLEASE. Thanks.
I use disposables too but wipe down my machine and clean every other area including my work area, clip cords, foot switch cord, power supply, etc. Anything I touch I clean thoroughly between clients. Although the machine itself doesn't touch blood, the hands that touch the machine do. The machine often requires minor adjustments during the tattoo process which means the hands that are in contact with contaminates touch the machine; ergo.. ntamination. Basically, I'd look elsewhere if the person is in that much of a hurry they can't adequately disinfect their workspace.
Q: One tube is made of copper, the other from plastic. From which tube will the magnet emerge first? Why?
The magnet from plastic tube would emerge first. This is so because electric emf will be produced in both due to changing magnetic field. But eddy currents will be stronger in copper tube because of free electrons. These currents will apply a retarding force on the moving magnet. In other words copper tube will itself become a stronger electromagnet with a polarity that opposes the motion of the magnet. this effect will be negligible in plastic tube because it has almost no free electrons.
Q: Are plastic tubes flexible or rigid?
Plastic tubes can be both flexible and rigid, depending on the type of plastic used and its thickness. Some plastics, such as PVC, are naturally rigid and inflexible, while others like polyethylene or polypropylene can be more flexible.
Q: the drinking water to taste like plastic of vinyl? Or could it be the new inline filter that I placed behind the fridge? I ran 3 gallons of water after I fixed the broken water line (split in half near the bottom where it 180s) and change the filter. When you first drink the water, it tastes ok. After the glass sits for a while, it takes on a plastic taste. Could it be that 4 inch piece of clear plastis hose I used to splice the water line?
This will not taste like the plastic of vinyl.
Q: What is the level of rigidity of plastic tubes?
The level of rigidity of plastic tubes can vary depending on the specific type and thickness of the plastic material used. Some plastic tubes can be relatively flexible, while others can be quite rigid and sturdy.
Q: Can plastic tubes be easily cleaned or sterilized?
Yes, plastic tubes can be easily cleaned and sterilized. They can be washed with soap and water, and then sterilized using various methods such as autoclaving, chemical disinfection, or steam sterilization.
Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for packaging medical devices?
Yes, plastic tubes are suitable for packaging medical devices due to their durability, flexibility, and ability to maintain product integrity. They provide protection against contamination, are easy to sterilize, and can be customized to meet specific requirements. Additionally, plastic tubes are lightweight, cost-effective, and offer excellent barrier properties, making them a preferred choice for packaging medical devices.
Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to oil?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to oil. They are often made from materials such as PVC or polyethylene, which have inherent resistance to various chemicals including oil. However, the specific type of plastic and its composition may affect its resistance to different oils, so it is advisable to consult the manufacturer's specifications for the specific plastic tube being used.
Q: How are plastic tubes manufactured?
Plastic tubes are manufactured through a process called extrusion. In this process, plastic pellets or resin are melted and forced through a die, creating a continuous tube shape. The tube is then cooled, cut into desired lengths, and may undergo additional processes such as printing, labeling, or sealing before being packaged.
Q: Its always been my dream to fly for the military and i didn't know if this disqualifies me. These are the only medical issues i have had.
If the tubes are still there you are not only DQ for aviation, you are DQ for getting in the service at all. If the tubes are there and you have them removed you will have to wait a calendar year until they heal and you prove you have no issues without the tubes. If you have not had them for a long period of time you still have to reveal them and you _may_ qualify.
