- Q: My model rocket's (currently being built) body tube has a slight issue.First, this is how im making it.Taking a plastic tube, I wrap a piece of construction paper around it, and glue it. (not to the tube, but to itself so I can slide out the tube, and have a cylindrical paper mold.) Next, I take a special type of paper with water-activated adhesive on one side, and wrap it around the construction paper.However, now that everythings dry, I find that upon gluing the construction paper, I also glued it to the tube. Now the plastic tube is stuck within.How can I get it out without tearing my outer shell?Im guessing with heat/cold, but Im not sure.
- To save what you have so far, slit the tube you glued up and peel it off,clean the plastic tube. Then re-glue your paper tube with white glue using wax paper over the plastic tube. Then add another layer or two of the water activated paper. You can cut the paper into 3 inch wide strips then spiral it around the tube. It will be much stronger. Make your tube longer then you need because the ends will be rough and you will want to cut them off. Let it dry for a few days so it will stiff-in up. If it is not strong enough add more layers.
- Q: Is there an instrument for measuring the leakage of underground plastic pipes?
- If you feel afraid to damage too much wall, you can cut off the original water pipe from the water meter, and then the water pipe from the ceiling down, the original wall of the water pipe do not manage it. This is a new concept, is the water people are such decoration, because they know that the pipeline is not guaranteed Water Leakage, and we will assume the original premise of pipe into the wall way pipeline is never Water Leakage, in fact we can't do that. Plastic pipes are cheap, easy to install, easier to save than to find leaks and repair them.
- Q: it cant have ANY plastic unless it has a wheel (if it does have a wheel, make sure its solid) and it must be suitable for 2 Gerbils. (it has to have multiple floors)
- Please don't get a cage with bars because it would HAVE to have plastic. Make your gerbils happier with something bigger and more spacious :)

- Yes, it is better because if the tube explodes, x-rays cannot find plastic in your body but copper will show up.

- It is called a talk box, the company heil makes the original one that peter frampton used in the 70's, it is a pain to hook up. there is a fairly newer one on the market called a banshee talk box, basically there is a speaker in the box on the floor it puts out your guitar up thru the plastic tube, when you put your mouth on it. you can manipulate the sound and it is picked up by the microphone.

- The use of water leakage tape wrapped around the top of the external thread, and tighten the wire, because the plastic pipe, not too hard, so as to avoid pipeline crack.

- Hot water is best to use PP plastic pipes, UPVC can only withstand the highest temperature of 55 degrees, but not long at this temperature, or it will accelerate the aging of the tube, bending, and even cracking.

- Until your gerbil gets the hang of it, put the food on the level he does have access to. At times all it takes is a little time for them to realize there's more to their home. Once he does, he'll be able to have the food where it currently is. I do wish to make sure you know that gerbils do chew through plastic and make quick work of tubes and tunnels. Within a couple weeks there could be a hole large enough for him to get out. Please just keep an eye on him to make sure he's not chewing on it. If he is, you may want to put him in a safer cage. I've seen many gerbils chew through the Critter Trail cages and many distraught owners wondering how to find their gerbils once they have escaped. Many owners don't feel their gerbil is a chewer or that the plastic is thick enough, but never underestimate the power of their determination and jaws. Many will chew through it, it simply ends up being a matter of when. Then again, some are fine, but in my own experience with gerbil parents, their gerbils all found a way out. My own two included (though I had been watching and as soon as I found the possibility of them making it out, they were immediately switched to a safer cage).
