- Q:Are plastic sheets resistant to bending?
- Yes, plastic sheets are generally resistant to bending due to their rigid and inflexible nature.
- Q:There is extreme wetness near the base of the walls 1 perticurally to the south and west and one to the north and west sides. I have had the attic ventilation balanced and it has gotten a little better. I also forgot that there is tyvek on the exterior and the cedar siding is curving toward the outside. I had the worst of it (siding) replaced this summer. The heat registers have just been replaced because they were rotted. I am replacing a sliding door for the same reason. I am also trying to replace some windows that may be leaking air. Thank you
- FYI - if your drywall has lready been exposed to moisture, it should be replaced. There is a new type of moisture, moldresistant and mildew resistant rock out there called Humitek. It is a few steps better than regular greenboard. It goes for abt $0.50 per sf so it's a little more expensive than greenboard, but weel worth it.
- Q:We have had a problem with bug bites, and we're pretty curtain that its bed bugs, not mosquitos...I'm curious if those plastic sheets are good for that!

- Q:I had a plastic bag in which bed sheets came and it disintegrated in my closet. How could this happen?
- There are some plastic bags that will dissolve in water. I suppose if the air in your closet were humid enough, over time the bag could dissolve. I know these bags are used in institutional laundries like those in hospitals and nursing homes, but it doesn't seem likely that they would be used for retail if they could dissolve that easily.

- Personally, I only use plastic to keep down weeds during the growing season and cut cross slits to plant through. Instead, I remove the top 2 to 3 inches of soil and discard them (well chopped) in the compost. Then I add soil amendments such as a cheap fertilizer called Milorganite, Bone meal, Sugar, Epsom salt and cream of tartar (a form of Potassium).
