- Q: ive had a tooth on the right hand side of my pallet for the past 4 years now it is towards the back inbetween my two back molars that are already there anyway i can get it removed but im kind of scared how do they do this? i really want it done as food gets caught between this tooth and it effects my speech help me with my nerves also is it possible to stay awake while they remove it xx
- I agree with the others-a vet visit is a NECESSITY! Your vet can tell you if the cleft can be repaired, but realise please that this will be fairly expensive, and you'll have a LOT of work ahead of you to keep the little one fed if the vet says surgery CAN be done in a few months. Please don't be upset if the vet says putting it down is the best thing for it.
- Q: I got a job at a factory and my position requires the use of a electric pallet jack...my problems are that i cant control it the way i would want to...it goes faster than i expected and my turns are horrible ive already hit like 3 things in a week...i need to learn how to use it ASAP its electric but i cant ride on it i push it....thank you for your time and hopefully answers :)
- with experience I believe. once you have sampled a large variety of a particular dish or food you can detect the differences in quality much more easily. like I can taste the difference between a cheap vodka and an expensive vodka in a blind taste test (it is my spirit of choice typically) but I have a hard time deciphering good tequila from bad tequila in a blind taste test (I picked the cheapo tequila as tasting better, /shrug) eating at a lot of nice restaurants helps as well. sampling some gourmet food cooked by talented chefs, and learning about the various dishes and ingredients. Over time you will refine your pallet. Also, closing your eyes when you eat helps you focus your senses just a little bit more I find. The nose actually plays an important role in tasting your food too, it will help you detect subtleties in flavor. If you can, play a game with someone for fun. Have them feed you different ingredients (if you trust them to do so) and try to guess what you're eating while you have your eyes closed. I saw them do this on Hell's Kitchen and a lot of people were getting very simple things wrong. It was surprising.
- Q: I know most pallet trucks can carry upto 2500kg but that would be a ridiculous amount of weight to pull unless your something special. So i just want to know the legal amount as in my job we are made to pull some pretty heavy shiznit eg. 18 x 65kg beer barrells. Anyone know if this is above the limit????
- Not sure about the amount on a pallet, but you can buy a pallet full at your local Pepsi distributor. They may deliver but not sure about that. Even if they don't you must know someone with a pickup truck.

- Sounds like you are going for a produce or other type of grocery item I dont think you will be able to find them for free, and I know you cannot go from factory to factory looking and most of them are 48x48 4-way How come 40x48, I really know the answer to that , that is so you can get 4 more skid on the truck. instead of 26 you will be able to fit 30 in a 54' traile rand if you double stack 60 skids. that probably would put you overweight unless your carrying kleenex, paper towels, or toilet paper, Socks or clothes (underwear) in six packs and ask on the CB if any driver has them, If not your going to have to purchase them, at a pallet place.in order to get your load, they should be around $10 bucks apeice, unless there Chep Pallets, there the blue ones
- Q: I want to make a small deck to use beside my 52quot; above-ground seasonal pool, on the cheap. I just had the idea to stack free pallets, nail them together to the proper height, and put decking across the top of it (and add stairs). Any reason this won't work? Pallets are built to hold weight, aren't they? Any other great ideas to contribute?

- Q: I haul 150-200 pallets on my flat bed trailer, pulling it with my 350 Ford Truck. I do this about 4-6 times a year, I was told by someone I need a DOT number.?? Do I ? and if I do where do I get it? How do I get it, and how much does it cost? Is there a fine for not having a DOT number for this type of transport? I would appreciate some direction. I live in Mihigan, I do not leave Michigan to transport these pallets.
- There are several place around Portland that give pallets away free. If you have excess, then you have to pay to have them recycled at a wood products recycling facility. It's cheap, they only charge something like $5 for a big truck load. So, to sell them and make money ? Nope, it's going to cost you more just to transport them
- Q: I'm 14 and getting a pallet expander tomorrow. I do not handle pain very well and i'm so not looking foward to having a huge gap in my teeth going into highschool. Any tips for the pain or advice from personal experience ?
- I have been given the expanders 3 months in the past. you will get used to it. in the beginning is tough to speak and you salivate plenty. Get the water jet to bathe the nutrition that get caught up there. you would be effective in a pair of week or 2.

- drive around area's where their are factories usually they have free pallets that they want to get rid of or will give away. many grocery stores are like this as well. i would actually call first before going if you know the place quiet well like say the grocery store and ask. cotsco in general by my house has LOADS. not sure if for free but they have loads and also a lot of factory near my house also have tons of pallets they are getting rid of. no one really takes them to begin with

- Depends on the size of the pallet. If it's 40 x 48 x 6, that means the volume is 11520 cubic inches, or roughly 6 and a half cubic feet. Bags of soil are most often sold by weight, not volume, so a 40 pound bag could be anywhere from just under one cubic foot, to about 1.25 cubic feet. I would go with 5 or 6 bags.
