- Q: that question is related to basic fluid machinery... the reaction turbines, when running are full of water that is the water is all around the vanes but in the analysis we use to draw a single line representing the inlet velocity why?????

- Q: Do you operate heavy machinery at work?
- No. I do move M-Carts of product and L-Boats, too, and take trash down in Shamrocks and push stuff around on a flat top, though.
- Q: You purchased a piece of machinery for $180,000. The machine's salvage value is $5,000 and its useful life span is 10 years. a) Using Straight Line Depreciation, what is the annual depreciation?b) Write an equation that relates Value to Time using the information given above.c) What would be the machine's value at the end of 6 years?d) What would be its value after 14 years?
- a) (180,000 - 5,000) / 10 = $17,500 per year b) Value = Purchase Price - (Annual Depr. * Years in Service) Not sure if this is what you're looking for. c) 180,000 - (17,500 * 6) = $75,000 d) Anytime after 10 years, value will simply be Salvage Value ($5,000).
- Q: What machinery is used to make sugar? From digging the ground to harvesting.......
- Sugar is obtained from a corn-like cane that grows in tropical places, It is planted from small cut portions of the cane into the soil already prepared and fertilized, when the canes get as high as 6 feet, and the leaves start to get yellow, is harvested, in many places its burnt to get ready of the leaves with sharp cutting edges and some dangerous snakes that usually nest in the plantations. The cane itself as is full with sweet liquid doesn't burn and is collected and carried to the mill. The first part of the extraction is to pass the canes through a press of rollers that press the syrup out, keeping the dry cane to be used for fuel to use in the boilers. The syrup is boiled and the water is removed leaving a very dense paste that is then dried with hot air to get raw sugar in large crumbs, this crums are milled to get what is known as brown sugar in cystaline form. The brown sugar doesn't have any chemicals and is almost 100% from dried syrup. From the brown sugar, is processed white sugar by means of adding some chemicals to whiten and remove the sugar cane flavor that comes with the original syrup. The final product is what we buy at the store. The boilers designed for sugar mills are unique for they are able to work with the dry cane as with oil, reducing considerably the cost of operation. There are some by-products very important that make sugar mills a great industry, the process of drying produce also a burned taste sediment called molasses high in calories that is also comercialized as stock food.
- Q: thanks
- And the list with machines: okorder
- Q: If I took off the machinery cover off my AK-47 rifle and I was to insert a loaded 30 round clip in the magazine well. And I was to pull back the charging handle, aim at the target, and then pull the trigger. Will it be a safe thing to do? Or will I get hurt?
- You mean the receiver cover? I don't know about that. Something tells me no.
- Q: I got my wisdom teeth (all 4) cut out this weekend and am still on loritabs every 4-6 hours for pain. Today is supposed to be the last day of my two weeks notice ( I am switching jobs next week ) But I'm on pain pills and shouldn't be opperating factory machinery which is what I do. Would it be bad for me to call in on my last day? I still have to go in Wednesday to get my paycheck but right now I can't even drive much less operate complictaed machinery. If I called in would that make me look bad? My employer knows I got my wisdom teeth cut out this weekend.
- Since your employer knows you had the surgery, you can bring it a note if it really matters. What I would do, if possible, is try to find a replacement so that they won't be left shorthanded, that way the employer knows you at least tried. If you were a good employee the whole time you worked there, then not coming on the last day (for a legitimate and verifiable reason) shouldn't be an issue.
- Q: Hi,Do you know where can i download the book 'Electrical Machinery by FITZGERALD 'thank yahoo for this service and thank you!

- Q: what are the machinery needed to produce many corndogs, corncerning the storage and process of ingredients?
- Thicken your regular cornbread recipe by adding the liquid (usually milk or buttermilk) to the rest of the ingredients a little at a time until you have a thick pancake batter consistency. Pour it into a tall drinking glass. Heat a pot of oil to about 375°F. Skewer your favorite, juicy beefy hot dog with a disposable wooden chopstick, pat it dry then dip it into the drinking glass, turning to coat completely. Immediately place battered dog into the hot oil, turning as necessary to brown all sides evenly. It will only take a few minutes for the corn bread to cook and brown, remove and drain on paper towels.
