- There was an artical I read in a magazine about assembling a laptop. It can be done, and the next time I need an upgrade, that is what I'm going to do. Apparently when building a laptop, you really don't have a lot of flexability like a desktop, but anything is better than nothing. I personally would go with the following for a gaming laptop. nVidia graphics card with at least 128 MB At least 1 GB of RAM 17 wide screen monitor is nice, but at least a 15.4 AMD processor. dual core if you can get one for a laptop.

- The real laptops should be good. The small sub notebooks have problems with heat on the screen, as it is almost totally closed and cannod disipate heat properly, i have seen some damaged because of this and i have recommended to plug them a external monitor to keep them useful. :( Don't you think and Acer will be better? is available where you live? Asus in motherboards is almost unbeatable, but not in notebooks.

- It depends on what you want to use this laptop for and what you consider an 'ideal laptop' to be. In a perfect world, what would your dream laptop to be like? what are top 2 or 3 features you absolutely must have eg. size/weight, screen resolution, battery life, elegant design, fast CPU etc. Then go from there. The way I chose my lap top was starting from the battery. I wanted a laptop with the longest battery. I found the battery, then I bought its counterpart (laptop). Everything else didn't matter to me.

- I recommend the Hp Pavillion G6. I have the exact same computer and it is amazing. It is fast, reliable, and it can easily handle games like Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, World of War Craft, Portal, etcI also recommend customizing the laptop, like spending a few extra bucks on a graphics card so you don't fry the processor.
