Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for electrical conduit?
No, plastic tubes are not suitable for electrical conduit as they lack the necessary fire resistance and durability required for electrical wiring systems.
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for liquid dispensing in beauty products?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for liquid dispensing in beauty products. They are commonly used in the cosmetic industry for packaging various liquids such as lotions, creams, serums, and gels. Plastic tubes offer convenience, ease of use, and are often preferred for their flexibility and cost-effectiveness.
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to UV radiation degradation?
Yes, plastic tubes can be resistant to UV radiation degradation depending on the type of plastic used. Some plastics, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene, can have additives that make them UV resistant, while others may degrade with prolonged exposure to UV radiation.
Q:remove it. Unfortunately I had to cut it off. I pushed the pastic in as far as I could but it didnt go all the way down. Now my dipstick cant be reinstalled and also if I do ever push the plastic down, will that affect the motor? I heard that there is a screen that will prevent any objects (plastic tube) from getting into engine.
Good job. I've done dumb things of this sort for years. On reading the other answer--which is to remove the dipstick tube from the block--I have to admit that this is a far better alternative than the one which I've proposed below. ....................... The plastic tube will be in there with the connecting rods--there's no screen or anything because nobody thought you'd be doing something like this. But the tube is unlikely to do any damage, either. You've gotta be able to get the dipstick in, so what you'll have to do, short of taking the oil pan off to retreive your tube, is to do a better job of getting it down inside the engine and out of the way. Unless it's a very stiff tube, there's little chance it'll damage anything: the only delicate parts in there are the oil-pump pickup tube and its screen. Go have a look at a service manual for your engine to see where these parts are, and if they're well away from where the dipstick drops into the engine, give the plastic tube a shove down into the engine with, say, a piece of steel rod. Please do not let the steel rod get stuck the way the plastic tube did.
Q:My 98 Stratus 2.4L 4 cyl is dripping clear clean water on the passenger side and has accumulated water in the blower motor area. How can I clean out the drain? Where is the drain?
The drain will be on the passenger side, towards the bottom of the firewall. It should be below the 2 heater hoses that go intot he heater core. On yours, I think it was just a tube coming out of the firewall, it will have a foam gasket around the platic tube. The tube will protrude from the firewall just a little bit. Some have a 90 degree rubber elbow on the end of the tube. If it is just the plastic tube, without the elbow, then use either a wet/dry vac if you have one, or use a wire hanger to poke into the hole and try to remove whatever is blocking the drain. If you don't get it out, it might block it again later, or it might come out with the water. If you have the 90 degree rubber elbow, a quick trick is to squeeze it at the very end and roll it between your fingers to loosen the blockage. If that doesn't work, remove the elbow and clean it out, it will generally have the blockage in it. The elbow should have 2 pieces of wire sticking out, just squeeze these together and slide it off. Might have to give it a twist to get it to come loose. If you get the elbow off and water doesn't come rushing out, then clear the plastic tube, and check the elbow to be sure it isn't clogged.
Q:my whole family has forgorten what they are called and i want to buy one
They are called tunnels. Google Guinea Pig Tunnels.
Q:What is that white plastic tube (usually made of wires inside) made of? PVC?
TPEE---- has the elasticity of the rubber and engineering plastics and rubber strength, compared, it has better processing performance and longer service life; compared with the engineering plastics, also has the characteristics of high strength, better flexibility and dynamic mechanical properties.
Q:I'm looking to make my own gas mask bong like the one pictured here . I've looked as jumbo sized plastic test tubes but they are not big enough. I just need a link to buy tubes that big. preferably plastic.
I'd say your best bet is a head-shop or smoke-shop as they sell all sorts of accessories for smoking, the tubes could be homemade or makeshift made in a shop by a tradesmen. Lastly smoking out of plastic is not as good as glass it has more carcinogens or something i remember reading about it somewhere. Hope that helps
Q:i was thinking sterilization cause due to being a surgical instrument, but can we sterilse plastic in autoclave or UV lights? confusing question.......
It would be sterilized when manufactured, and then disposed of in an autoclave afterwards. Plastic tubing (at least in developed countries) is not reused. In fact most surgical instruments are disposable now, mainly due to the fact that nothing else completely removes the risk of prion infection.
Q:ive heard this is used in aquariums and whatnot, but what exactly does it do? and what can it be used for?
Airline tubing is the clear, plastic tubes that are used to put air into the tank. Sometimes it's just from an air pump that makes bubbles, sometimes it's actually oxygen. It comes in lots of different sizes, and good pet stores will sell it to you by the foot.
