- I would edvise you to buy good all season tires, do not buy winter tires because you spend most of the time in Calif. so it would not make any scense. Also buying chains, does not make any scense to me to. Just get best all season tires and drive slowly on snow and you will be fine.

- Look up Hatch Street Guard with Kevlar. These are the gloves I use and I really like them. They're about $40. Pro's: Puncture resistant, thick on the palm side but thinner on the back side, comfortable, great for grip. Despite being a little thicker, I still have a pretty good sense of feeling when searching suspects, though it's always a good idea to search extra carefully when wearing gloves. Con's: They tend to wear out faster than I would home. Mine show a lot of signs of wear but are still very functional after regular use for about a year. To give an idea of usage, I will take these out of my pocket (which closes with a zipper, so the gloves catch and rub on it frequently, contributing to that wear) between two and eight times per 12 hour shift. I wear them for all disturbances, suicidal persons, disorderly persons, domestic violence calls, assault in progress, suspicious persons, and during any arrests I make regardless of the crime. - Hey:) um first off just going to say please wait!! You're only 13 and no offense not really mature or old enough for a septum piercing. Trust me people treat you and look at you differently when you have a facial piercing. Atleast wait till like ur 16 at the most. But I'm like 2 yrs older then you and I pierced my nose myself and now I regret it. Butt if you really want it then Boil the safety pin, wear gloves, sterilize the area you'll pierce, and then push through fast. Unfortunatly when I pierced my nose(nostril not septum) I thought it would be a walk in the park. I was wrong. I though I was dying and my face would fall off. So I had to pace my self which mad it worse. Then I got courage and push les through with the needle and almost died from shock after it poked through. It was sore but I pulled it out and put in the jewlerry. But I assume it would be the same for the septum maybe hurt more:/ Please listen to me and wait! Sure somepeople think you look cool with the piercing but it will make it harder for u to get a job and people will judge you on your piercing. Plus a lot of guys I know don't like those piercings. - Q: I started feeding with shield because in hospital we couldn't get baby to latch at all. I tried without shield and I can get him to latch in fact the other day he was on a good 30 minutes and I could hear swallowing and saw milk on his face after so I know he got some, but since I started without shield he gets very fussy. I just tried with it and he is fine. I am not sure if it's just a coincidence or if this is common? He's only 2 wks old but I noticed since I started with shield that my nipples are more apt for feeding, they are actually harder and it's easy to get him to latch but it seems like maybe he just doesn't like it?

- Firstly, you went overboard here defending yourself. It's fine to ask a question, that's what this site is for. Secondly, the car alarm cannot go off without a battery, power is required. I also think the car won't start without the battery, though.. If this is the stock alarm, you might want to take it to the dealer and tell them it's malfunctioning. If this is aftermarket, you might want to take it where they installed it. Is your remote working fine? You may have to replace the battery in your key fob. What I'm saying is you may be telling the car to turn off the alarm, but the signal isn't getting there because the remote is dead. If it's not your remote, the problem sounds tricky. That's why I suggested you take it to somebody that can physically look at it. Good luck!
- Q: I'm replacing all the sheet rock(covered in mold!) in a old trailer with paneling and I thought since the walls are open why not double up on the studs and add bracing through out. Is this a good idea? Right now all the studs I see is 1x4 not 2x4 like I thought.All so the floors need replacing to. Should I cut it all out and replace it with double layers of 3/4th plywood or 2X12 studs or just leave it in place(most of it is still good) and cover it with just one layer of 3/4 plywood like my cousin says I should do? I'm looking for strength not something that will fall apart in a few years!
