- Wow ! They don't make it easy for you, do they ? I absolutely agree that they should provide training, steel toecaps and gloves, and shouldn't stack stuff up so high. Sorry if this sounds harsh but you may have to choose between safe working and having this job. You certainly sound like a sensible person who could do something more skillful. If you can ask on here, you can go to the Health and Safety executive website and find out. I bet you can download a Manual Handling video. You are certainly entitled to boots and gloves but if they won't get them for you, are you willing to keep on at them about it, or do you think that for your own safety it's better just to buy them yourself ? You could contact the Health and Safety Executive and explain the problem - maybe they could make your employers do things safer, I don't know. My advice is to write all this stuff down, write to your employers about it, send it by registered post and keep a copy. If they write back, keep the reply. If there are other workers who feel like you do, speak to management together so you can be witnesses for each other in case you are sacked or have an accident. Do you think management might be more sympathetic if, say a washing machine fell down ? Just a thought I can tell you that even just to cover their own backs, they should see that you look at a training manual or manual handling video. They should have a Risk Assessment for stacking machines, with instructions on what to do to reduce risks to yourself. They should get you to sign a form to prove you have seen the training manual/manual handling video, and read and understood the Risk Assessment.

- If she just untwisted the wrapper and popped the cough drop right in her mouth straight from the wrapper then I'd say no big deal (however I would have re-gloved if I was her)if she actually touched the bare cough drop with a glove contaminated with blood or saliva and put it in her mouth then that isn't going to affect you but was a bad idea on her part for her own safety.

- Don't advertise to anyone that your gloves are weapons, and you should be fine. There aren't many people, cops included, that will recognize sap gloves for what they actually are. They may be filled with lead shot, but they are still gloves, and serve the function of gloves.
- Q: so i went to word and i adjusted the size of the paperand then when i went to print i also customized the size to what the instructions say it says 4.5 by 7 but i dont know what going on when the printer starts it just takes one of vellums i put and then paper and says out of paper and it doesnt even print the paper just gets stuck and i have to take it out please help. i have a lexmark printer not sure of the style number buts its a printer copier scanner and fax
- They should wear gloves, not only for your safety but for theirs too. You'll be fine but next time if you notice no gloves inform them you would feel more comfortable with them if they wore gloves ecspecially if they need to have contact with your skin, such as pinching the area where the injection is being given. Take care. -)

- Has to be unloaded and stored in a locked container to be transported by car. If your glove compartment locks with a key and the gun is unloaded, you can do that. Obviously that greatly reduces it's usefulness.

- Hammer, ( I use 3 sledge) wide chisel and elbow grease.. Hammer and chisel off as much as you can and a sharp floor scrapper will help. You ll just have to get the knack of how to do yours. Some come up easy and some are an SOB. There are power floor scrappers that sometimes get up the bulk of the stuff. You can rent them at any tool rental place. That ll depend on how big your area is and if you want to go that route. Above all safety glasses, gloves ( leather is the best) and long sleeve shirt.watch at all times which way you hit and chisel chips fly EVERYWHERE. No kids allowed nearby. Sheets covering doors and cabinets help keep dust and debris contained. And ear plugs or protection because debris can and do fly into the ears. Personal experience!! GL
