- I do not live in the UK, so I do not know who (if any) regulates building and safety. We here in the US have Building and Safety offices that have building codes that apply to all different types of building and what they are used for. Just because there is not a law in place to make something safe, doesn't mean that what is in place (meeting a building code) is safe. Example: Having locks that require a key (even though building code may say it is okay) would not be safe in a fire, where you need to get out fast. O Our building codes restrict those types of locks because of the danger. It would behoove you to do everything that building code calls for and more in order to insure the safety of those that are living in your building. They will have the right to hold you responsible and you don't want people to get hurt, either. It's good that you are doing your homework. Keep it up!
- Q: When I walk on the streets(of india) , I see very tiny dots on the streets (unmetaled road) that seem to shine or reflect light. What are they?

- Q: I have a 9 month old boxer boy called blayze. I love him so much but he is more than a little embarrasing in his latest fad. He is 31kg and very strong. When I walk him, he will grab strangers carrier bags full of shopping and moun t them with a firm grip. It happens allot and often on a m ain road where people stop and laugh at him. I intend to stud him as he is from a line of champs so de sexing isnt an option. It is funnt, but shows me up. Any advice? He has a halti and retractable lead as he pulls too much
- Try a dealership; however, on a 22 year old car, it's highly improbable that the part is made by Ford any more Have you tried the auto parts stores such as Auto Zone and others? The door systems were changed completely to accommodate the new design of the 1990 Town Car. Since the 1989 model year was a carry over from the 1988 model year, and possibly the system being the same since the early 1980's models, you could broaden your search to include years from 1985 to 1989 (the minor redesign of the Town Car after its introduction in 1981, assuming the door handle/locking system changed any between those years).
- Q: Do you wear safety goggles or gloves when making your own lye soap?I wear gloves, no goggles.
- Food is OK, with some limitations. Anything of a gel-like nature has to be three ounces or less. Buy your liquids after you go through security. You can use your electronic stuff about ten minutes after takeoff; they'll let you know. Of course, you can't use your cellphone during flight.
- Q: Your parent brought home 2 household solutions – one to clean the floor and another, the countertop. The floor cleaner is a solid and the instructions specify that a solution of 4.0%W/V should be made before cleaning. The countertop cleaner comes in a 250 ml bottle and the instructions say to make 3.5%V/V before using it on your countertop. Your parent needs 540 ml of floor cleaner solution and 270 ml of the countertop cleaner solution. Write instructions to your parent on how to make each solution. Show your calculations. Add safety precautions.
- The shield is the outer part of the bearings (yes the colored part). Talking them off can be really tough. You can use a small flathead screwdriver to do so, but you run the risk of damaging the bearings. Unless you have really expensive bearings, I would just buy new ones, the risk is a little high.
- Q: does anybody have any info. on brooke shields well i am in 6th grade and i am doin a report so plzz help
- I assume you are talking about the Kensingston lock here. Read the info below from A Kensington Security Slot (also called a K-Slot or Kensington lock) is part of an anti-theft system designed by Kensington Computer Products Group. It is a small, metal-reinforced, oval hole found on almost all small or portable computers and electronics equipment, particularly on expensive ones, such as laptops, computer monitors, desktop computers, gaming consoles, and video projectors. It is used for attaching a lock-and-cable apparatus, in particular those from Kensington. Locks are generally secured in place with a key or combination lock attached to a rubberized metal cable. The end of the cable has a small loop that allows the cable to be looped around a permanent object, such as a heavy table or other similar equipment, thus securing it in place. Its just prevents anyone from stealing ur laptop if you were to leave it unattended thats it, retail store use the same for display models.
- Q: How would the cast resin react if I douse it in lighter fuel and ignite it?
- geek squad? and you expect answers? :-p
- Q: At a place of business, should employees be cleaning up serious amounts of fecal matter? What if these employees are minors? What about rotting meat with odors and insects present?
- It is not a myth. How low the temperature gets and for how long dictates the seriousness. Also, if the pipes are exposed this can be a problem. If your home is on a slab you are less likely to have problems (pipes not exposed to air an ground temps above freezing). You can wrap pipes (check with a local hardware store). The problem is not freezing, but thawing. When water freezes, it contracts. When it thaws, it expands and can burst rigid pipes/fittings. Letting the water drip can keep the water moving and hinders the freezing process. If you have any outside fixtures it can help to cover them. If you are going to be away and don't want to leave the water running, turn off the power to you hot water heater (so you don't risk burning your coils and wasting energy) and then turn the water off at the source (meter/pump). Drain the lines at their lowest point (outside faucet maybe). Open inside faucets to allow room for expansion in case any trapped water freezes. I hope this helps
- Q: I'm trying to add parental control to my son's account. I deleted his previous account because he was downloading pictures, videos, games and who knows what! I found that there was a virus and it really screwed up my system. After I deleted his account, things were a little better. I have windows vista! Any suggestions would help! Thanks!
- Stay out of your sister's room. And quit LYING about it being the only way into ANY part of your house. Unless that part of the house is PART of her room, they don't build houses that way.
- Q: alright, this person has it out for me and my girlfriend showed me texts from his phone saying i know where his car is..its really easy to open and hes talking about my garage.awhile ago i lost my opener, so my apartment manager made it so i can manually open my garage, and after doing that for awhile it broke, and it was really really really heavy to open up. anyways, they fixed it, but im not sure if they made it to where you either 1) had to ahve a key to open it, and 2) or had to have my garage opener.anyways, some point in this time period, he found out where my garagfe was, and found out he could just lift it up to open it up. if it is proparlly fixed (meaning you need to have a key/opener to open it) how easy is it to just manually open it, regardless?the garage is a liftmaster garage btw.
- sounds good to me lmao jk jk
