- Q: I dont feel like frying them and getting grease splatterlolWhat temp and for how long?
- Your setup will work But, like everyone else has said, it is not the best setupYour coax is the worst part of the equationI have also used RG8x, and I have had excellent resultsI moved up to standard RG-8, which is not the best; but does have a lot less lossAn attic antenna will also work; just altitude is the issueI suppose, my big question is: Is this setup giving you the performance you want? Are you making all the repeaters you want to hitAre you making some decent simplex contacts? Use what you have and as time and money permits, improve your setup, if you want toThe hobby is about tinkering and experimentingHave fun with your setup and tweak here and there73 john
- Q: I've got flour, sugar, milk, oil, cocoa powder, and unsweetened chocolateDoes anyone have any recipes or suggestions? I've got spices/vanilla/etc, just don't have any butter (if it's only got a little I can manage, since I have a bit of margarine spread that would probably be okay for a couple of tablespoons worth, but I don't want to use a half cup of it, you know?).

- Q: Wich would be the cost, for a handmade bicycle builder, of a high end steel tubeset like Reynolds 853 and what are the size options for the headtube (i.e1 1/8, 1.5, tapered.)?
- Yep, cranes lift a lot-steel, concrete buckets, even workers (rarely)Cranes are begun with small lifts near the ground, and assembled in piecesThe highest ones climb up the beams floor by floor as the skyscraper risesWhen the top is built, the crane is taken apart and pieces lowered by a very small craneThen that one is taken apart and comes down an elevator.
- Q: I made a few caps for a project out of mason jars and did the math and they seem to be only about .05mf eachI need closer to 6.33I also need caps that can withstand about 10,000 volts so we decided to use 1/8th inch glass as the dielectricWere planning to use cut out pieces of copper on each sideHow much surface area would we need on each side to reach 6.33 mf? Would layering the glass and making a thicker dielectric increase or decrease capacitance? Would you recommend another method like tinfoil and wax paper with several run in parallel?
- Waxed paper is about 0.001 inch thick (0.0254 mm)Coincidentally, the page I found that gives this thickness is showing how to calculate the capacitance of a homemade capacitorThat's my first sourceUsing the calculator in my second source and the dialectric constant of kraft paper, I calculated that you will need about 7000000 square mmIf you use aluminum foil that is 12 inches wide, that's 305 mm To get the area needed, you will need your foil to be 22950mm longThat's about 23 meters or about 75 feet or 25 yardsMy roll is 66 yards, so to make two plates you will use most of a rollIf you want want it 15cm high to fit a mason jar (I don't have one to measure, so I'm estimating), that's about 51 yards longThe non-stick aluminum foil is coated with teflon, which probably will work as a nice, thin insulatorOh, noI just noticed the part about 10 kilovoltsThat won't work with waxed paper1/8 inch glass is 3.175mm and a different dielectric constantYou need about 900000000 square mmYou need a square of glass that is 30 meters on each sideIn other words, no.
- Q: I am looking for an aluminum dog tag in the shape of a crownI have been looking everywhere online but no one seems to have themThe only things i can find are like pewter or big bulky thingsI want it to be like the regular tags (ex: bone, heart, etc.) but just in that particular shapeIf you know any place online or store that has them please please please let me know!!! - Texas Barbecued Beef Brisket Ingredients 10 lb beef brisket 2 c basic all-american bbq 1 sauce 2 c all-south barbecue rub; see Instructions 1Rub the brisket thoroughly on all its sides with the barbecue rub, and allow it to come to room temperature2In the pit of a covered grill, build a very small fire on one side as far up against one wall as possiblePlace the brisket on the grill on the side opposite from the fire so that none of the brisket is directly over the flamePut the top on the cooker, pull up a chair, and grab the coolerThis is where a person learns about the Zen of BarbecueYou gotta keep the fire going, but very quietlyIf you've got a thermometer on your covered grill, you want to keep the temperature between 180 and 220 FRemer, Slow and low is the way to goYou have to figure out your own personal refueling policyThe one I like is one handful of coals or wood chunks to every beerThis goes on for about 8 to 10 hours or however long you can make it, the longer the betterDon't be scared by the darkening of the exterior, the outside of the brisket will be superdark-my personal favorite part3Upon completion, pull the brisket out, trim off any excess fat, and slice it thinServe with barbecue sauce on the side-no pro would ever cover properly cooked brisket with sauce, he'd just dab on a touchObviously the key here is a tremendous amount of patience and a day when you want to do nothing but sit aroundBut the end product is one of those great culinary events that results from spending a lot of time doing something that is relaxing and enjoyableMake sure you have plenty of tall boys for eating this.
- Q: i dnt kno wats wrong with it, it was fine a week ago but now the heat dnt wrk and theres a bubling sound under the dash, and wenever i leave it to idle for a while it starts to over heat, i need some advise plz
- My guess is your heater coreThe heater core would explain no heat and you should be seeing smoke coming out of your ventsThe bubbling sound would be the coolant leaking into your cabinSince there is no coolant it should be constantly overheatingIts possible that while driving the air is cooling your engine, but unlikelyA couple of costs: Heater cores are $20 - 40, installation is about $200That's on the cheap because if you've overheated the engine the cylinder head(Most likely aluminum) has warped and you will soon have a blown head gasketIf not? Well then consider the $250 a blessing.
- Q: Never changed one before, I would like to know where it is located.
- It's in the end of the intake, where the aluminum coolant tube bolts onFollow the upper radiator hose to it.
- Q: My mom made navy bean and ham soup, we didn't have a container to put it all in so we just left it in the potMy boyfriend said you're not supposed to do that, because he said that you can't leave things in a can opened in the fridge, which I already know, but that is tin not metalSO is it ok or will it do something to the food.
- stainless steel or aluminum should be o kfood cans arecoated steel or sometimes aluminumso its not good to leave some things in them for long time after opening tin is a nick-name that has been pinned on them for many years Tin is actually a quite valuable metal and used in metal alloys
- Q: I'm looking to try and remake tandoori in my house, but I don't have a tandoori/clay ovenIs there any way to get the same effect while cooking at home, on perhaps the grill?
- ok, i don;t knw the details abt the temp stuff like that, but i surely know that it can be made in a baking oven- b'coz last yri messed up with it;my sister showed it to me later but i lost interest so forgot the detailsTo sum it up, Yesyou can make it in an ovenexperimenting is fun! be careful goodluck with ur tandoori roti.
