Q:I am looking for a lower cost alternative to soundproof manfacturing vibration chambers/shakers and venting sytems. Right now the consideration is to enclose the space by building walls/ceilings. I would prefer a consultant who could recommend lower cost soundproof enclosures, blankets, etc. We need to lower the noise by 20 db. Q:I was wondering if a license from another country (say Ecuador) is valid here in the United States for operating heavy machinery? if not, what are the steps for a non-english speaking person to get this license if they know how to operate machines efficiently?: Equipment operator license is only valid locally, in the country where it was issued. It would probably be easy to take the test for a US license, but some of the safety requirements will be different, so brush up on the training, and take the test.

Q:I'm a vegetarian who doesn't eat fish and I was just wondering what this means.: That notice is mostly for people who have allergies. It means that there is a chance that there are trace amounts of the ingredient listed in the product. While the company does not deliberately add the ingredient to the product, there might be lingering particles on the machinery, so if you have severe allergies, you should skip it. If buying from vegetarian-only companies is important to you or you have an allergy, skip the product. Otherwise, you can probably have it.

Q:How does operating machinery under water complicate mining procedures?: Well it severely limits the type of power source you can use, corrosion of metal parts becomes a major factor, manipulation/positioning of machinery becomes extremely complicated, health and safety is even more of a problem, costs increase exponentially
