- Q: How do you connect plastic tubes together?
- Plastic tubes can be connected together using various methods such as push-fit connectors, compression fittings, barbed connectors, or using adhesive or solvent-based joining techniques like gluing or welding. The appropriate method depends on the specific application, tube material, and required strength and durability.
- Q: I am trying to design a tube that needs a lid which will have rubber seals. therefore i need to figure out what the series roughness should be on the tube where the rubber seals need to sort of slide in. the tube is about 12.5in long and will be smooth 1.5in in on the inside and the cover goes 1.5in into the tube when put on the tube. This is for work, i am just trying to finish my drawings for this product.
- 63 u/in will be fine.
- Q: i have an amp installation kit, with a 0 gauge power wire, i'm assuming since there is no split loom tubing that came with the complete kit, that it will be unnecessary because the power wire is so thick?
- I'd protect it further - Especially if it goes thru sheet metal or outside the passenger compartment. I've run power feed wire thru plastic tubing, when it is under the body, just to be safe.
- Q: hi I don't really know a lot about plumbing but today my bathroom sink was clogged so I took the j looking pipe apart and when I did a plastic tube looking thing fell out from the first pipe and when I tried to put everything back together that thing wouldn't stay. help?
- You did the right thing to clear the clog. Work from the far end and toward the sink. You probably have a j pipe with threads on one end, and a straight clean pipe on the other. The threads go to the big white nut coming out of the wall, and the straight piece goes up into the drain from the sink. There's a greyish white washer which is bevelled on one side -- that goes around the straight pipe, and the threaded nut goes on it first. So when you push the straight pipe into the drain, the threads on the drain pipe connect to the threads on the j pipe nut, with the washer between, bevel edge facing the sink. Still confused? You tube has a video (or maybe hundreds) showing how to do this.
- Q: ive been spending a fortune lately on my hamsters..so my partners asked me to stop buying them things for a couple of weeks..but i really want some tubes for my hamsters anybody got some old ones they dont want anymore..that could give me for cheap??
- go to a hard ware store and find a plastic tube for plumbing i bought 5 of them for 50 cents each. it was cheap and they last a long time, they are also too hard to chew so they cant eat them, that way you wont need to keep buying tunnels and you can just save up change.
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for hydraulic applications?
- No, plastic tubes are generally not suitable for hydraulic applications due to their lack of strength and resistance to high pressure and temperature.
- Q: Are plastic tubes resistant to UV fading?
- Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to UV fading. Most plastic materials used in the manufacturing of tubes, such as PVC or polyethylene, are UV stabilized, which means they have additives that protect against the harmful effects of UV rays. This helps prevent the tubes from fading or yellowing when exposed to sunlight for extended periods.
- Q: Can plastic tubes be used for pet products?
- Yes, plastic tubes can certainly be used for pet products. They are commonly used in the manufacturing of toys, feeding devices, grooming tools, and other pet accessories. Plastic tubes offer durability, flexibility, and ease of cleaning, making them suitable for various pet-related applications.
- Q: If you had 32 plastic test tubes, what would you use them for?
- OKorder, i don't need 32 plastic test tubes!
- Q: Are plastic tubes suitable for hot-fill applications?
- No, plastic tubes are not suitable for hot-fill applications as they can deform or melt under high temperatures.
