FAQ1
We have organized several common questions for our clients, may help you sincerely:
1.What price for each watt?
It depends on the quantity, delivery date and payment terms,
2.How do you pack your products?
We have rich experience on how to pack the panels to make sure the safety on shipment when it arrives at the destination.
- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high levels of rainfall?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high levels of rainfall. While excessive water exposure can affect the performance of solar panels in the short term, modern solar panels are designed to withstand different weather conditions, including rain. Proper installation and maintenance can ensure their efficiency and longevity, even in areas with high rainfall.
- Q: How can I determine the size of solar panel system I need?
- To determine the size of the solar panel system you need, you should consider your average electricity consumption, your location's solar potential, and the available roof or ground space for installation. Start by analyzing your energy bills to understand your average monthly and annual electricity usage. Then, consider the solar irradiation levels in your area, which can be found through online tools or consulting a solar professional. Additionally, assess the available area for installation, as larger systems require more space. Finally, consult with a solar installer or use online calculators to determine the appropriate system size that can meet your energy needs.
- Q: What are the advantages of using solar panels?
- There are several advantages of using solar panels. Firstly, solar panels produce clean and renewable energy, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change. Secondly, solar energy is abundant and free, reducing the dependence on fossil fuels and providing a sustainable source of power. Additionally, solar panels can save homeowners and businesses money on their electricity bills by generating their own energy. Finally, solar panels require minimal maintenance and have a long lifespan, making them a cost-effective and reliable energy solution.
- Q: What is the impact of shading on solar panels' performance?
- Shading has a significant negative impact on the performance of solar panels. When even a small portion of a solar panel is shaded, it can drastically reduce the overall power output of the entire panel. Shading causes a decrease in the amount of sunlight reaching the solar cells, which in turn reduces the energy production. It can also lead to hotspots and potential damage to the shaded cells. Therefore, shading should be minimized as much as possible to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of solar panels.
- Q: i would like to hook up a power outlet to a solar panelmy light system is 500watts will run for 8 hours/day between noon to 8PM.So what is the most effective system do I need?
- The least expensive way would be to get a 500 W or preferably a higher rated UPS. The higher the rating, the more robust the inverter. You can get two year old ones cheap because most people don't realize that it's just a $2 battery that goes bad every two years. Get some Car batteries in parallel to build up more capacity. Deep cycle marine batteries or golf cart batteries are best. Connect the Solar Panel to the batteries via a FET diode, assuming your solar cells are wired to produce 2 V or better power (you probably would want at least 8 V), this is to charge the batteries when the sun is shining. A little bit of analog circuitry magic can create a current limiter based on a Darlington pair type layout. Connect the batteries to the rest of the UPS (don't plug it into the wall) and you can run 0 V 60 Hz AC devices off it's outlets. You may want to snip the wire going to the speaker so you won't hear the alarm. There's no way you could sync this to the grid so don't even try a grid tie in and the inverter in the UPS is only intended to run for 0 to 20 minutes so it may burn out however we've run UPS inverters constantly for months before when we needed a cheap power converter to change AC power frequencies before.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a convention center or event venue?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a convention center or event venue. In fact, many convention centers and event venues are embracing renewable energy solutions, including solar power, to reduce their carbon footprint and lower electricity costs. Installing solar panels can provide a reliable and sustainable source of energy, making it an ideal choice for these large-scale facilities.
- Q: i've heard environmentalists like ed begley jr use the phrase quot;peak shaving hourswhen talking about solar energy.what does that phrase mean, please?thank you to all who respond.
- You okorder /... This is known as 'Grid-Tied' Solar in the open market.
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on a commercial building?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on a commercial building. In fact, many businesses are opting for solar panel installations as a way to reduce energy costs, promote sustainability, and take advantage of government incentives. Commercial buildings provide ample space for solar panels to be installed on rooftops or as ground-mounted systems, allowing businesses to generate clean energy and contribute to a greener future.
- Q: Do solar panels increase property value?
- Yes, solar panels have been found to increase property value. Studies have shown that homes with solar panels tend to sell at a higher price and faster than those without. Additionally, the potential for reduced energy bills and the positive environmental impact of solar energy can make a property more attractive to potential buyers, thus increasing its overall value.
- Q: I am currently building a house, iv designed it to be as self sustainable as possible, I'm in the process of installing solar panels but as I'm ordering online I was hoping someone here could tell me how many I would need to completely run a 5 bedroom home, just standard household appliances such as fridge and freezers, plasma tvs computers and of course lighting, various things like that, also I'll need power storage as well, some type of large rechargeable battery, any help would be great.
- You're missing a few assumptions: - where on the globe? - how well is your house insulated, how do you plan to heat/cool your house? - why do you insist on power wasting appliances like plasma screens? Usually, unless it's absolutely impossible, a grid-tie-in system is much better than an insular system. You could use the grid to 'store' electricity for those times when the sun isn't shining and as fall-back if your yield isn't quite as good as you calculated. With the battery system, you'll have to specify your reliability requirements. If you want a 00% guarantee that you'll always have electricity, even if the sun is not shining for a week longer than you've planned according to the past weather history of your area, you'll either have to ridiculously oversize your battery (and panel) system, or plan for some sort of backup system anyway. Finally, if you're really planing such a system, you might want to take a look at the fridges and freezers used on sailboats: these use a eutectic cold accumulator, i.e. you 'charge' the fridge when the engine is running (or the sun is shining) and it'll then keep the temperature for another ~2...35 (professional systems) hours.
