1. Material  Introduction:

PVC is a strong, stiff, low cost plastic material that is easy to fabricate and easy to bond using adhesives or solvents. It is also easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment. Guangzhou Engineering Plastics Industries (Group) Company has studied and applied this material in many industries for many years. And we know that PVC Sheet and Rod has an exceptional chemical resistance and has high mechanical and tensile strength combined with a high degree of stability which together makes this easily welded product one of the most versatile general purpose plastics available.

Q:I need large plastic sheets, about 7 feet high and 4 feet wide. Thin ones, like plastic grocery bag thin. I have no idea where to buy them though.
challenging subject. query onto a search engine. that could actually help!
Q:I want to be able to cut it with scissors and I want it to be bendable, but I want it to hold its shape. Here's the use...I'm basically making a very large funnel-type thing out of 4 PVC.I cut several 12 strips longways around one side of the PVC, heated it and bent the strips out 45 degrees. Now I need semi-pliable thin plastic sheets cut into triangles to epoxy around the inside to the strips to make it solid. I also considered using the clear rubber/plastic floor mat stuff, but I think it might stretch and also considered the plastic gutter material but I think the plastic used for 2 liter bottles would work the best.Any ideas?
search for acetate sheets...
Q:Whats the best way of approaching this??
I was a very late bed wetter. Your son needs to be told that many boys and girls wet their beds even when they are teenagers. It is just something that happens to some boys and girls as they grow up. I would have liked something like the pull up pants that substitute for a diaper and now are available for children and adults. They would be good to have plus an absorbent pad to put on the bottom sheet to protect the mattress. If he doesn't wet then he can reuse the pull up the next night. If all you can find are diapers, then he needs to know that even mommies, and daddies, and older brothers and sisters use them if they have bed wetting, or wetting problems. He needs to know that he is still a big boy and will out grow wetting the bed. Now you could be talking about a teenager. They wet the bed too. If it is infrequent then they will out grow it in time. Even they would likely prefer to be in a diaper or pull up then awaking in a soggy wet bed. If the wetting is very frequent then the child needs a doctors visit for help.
Q:Can plastic sheets be used for greenhouse construction?
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for greenhouse construction. They are commonly used as greenhouse coverings due to their affordability, durability, and ability to allow sunlight to penetrate while retaining heat. Plastic sheets such as polyethylene or polycarbonate are often used to create a greenhouse structure, providing an ideal environment for plants to grow.
Q:i got a clothe, i don't think it's really plastic, it's kind of thick, a bit see through and looks a little bit like plastic, and sheet protectors , are they recyclable? thanks!
Most plastics are recyclable. However, not all cities recycle anything, and in my city, only certain categories of plastic can go in my recycling bin. Look for a little triangular logo on the item, with arrows leading to each other, with a number or symbol in the middle. See my source. In my city, we are not supposed to put any plastic with that 7 in our bins, because the city waste disposal doesn't have the means to recycle it.
Q:Can plastic sheets be used for electrical insulation in high voltage applications?
Yes, plastic sheets can be used for electrical insulation in high voltage applications. Plastic materials such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC have excellent insulating properties and are commonly used for insulation in high voltage systems. These materials have high dielectric strength and can withstand the stresses and voltages associated with high voltage applications, providing a reliable and cost-effective insulation solution.
Q:What is the plastic partition board in the refrigerator in the refrigerator?
It is toughened glass partition board, glass is higher than plastic grade, more beautiful.
Q:This Halloween, I plan to build a very small haunted house in the front of my house.I need to know how to build the cheapest, easiest, walls possible. I plan to make this haunted house on the concrete portion of my front yard (right by door) with a little bit of the entrance on the grass. I plan on using plastic sheeting but I don't know how to connect them. somebody told me to put PVC pipes in paint buckets and add cement to the bucket. then connect the walls with the plastic sheeting. another told me to stab PVC/plywood into the ground but in doing most of it on concrete. so basically, what's the cheapest and easiest way to build walls on concrete AND grass? please also tell me how to build it, I'm a young kid with no construction experience and no money.
You need a few of the cardboard boxes that refrigerators come in. Connect them together with duct tape. Cut doors windows etc.
Q:Last month, I covered my allotment with black plasting sheeting to suppress weeds, how long before weeds/grass is gead I can start digging?
Personally, I only use plastic to keep down weeds during the growing season and cut cross slits to plant through. Instead, I remove the top 2 to 3 inches of soil and discard them (well chopped) in the compost. Then I add soil amendments such as a cheap fertilizer called Milorganite, Bone meal, Sugar, Epsom salt and cream of tartar (a form of Potassium).
Q:how would you collect fresh water if you were in a deserted island and you only had a plastic sheet, some rocks and an emty coconut cut in half
Put the plastic in the coconut shell Rub the rocks together Fire is going. Boil the water over top. Bam. It's fresh
