Calculation of alumina liner installed in ball mill
1. The number of alumina liners installed on two end walls:
(1) Calculation of the number of straight liners on the end wall:
Gf=3.14×r2÷(L1×W)
In the above formula: Gf: the number of straight bricks on the end wall of ball mill
r: the semi-diameter of the end wall of ball mill
W: the width of lining bricks
L1: the length of lining bricks
(2) Calculation of number of semi-straight bricks on the end face:
GB=D÷W
In the above formula:
GB: the number of straight bricks on the end face.
D:the diameter of the end wall
W: the width of alumina liner
2. The calculation of number of liner on the round wall.
The total No. of liners:
GC=R1×R2 , R1=3.14×D÷W , R2=(L-2h)÷L1,
in the formula:
GC: The total number of straight bricks and trapezoidal bricks on the round wall.
R1: the rows of bricks on the round wall.
R2: number of bricks in each row
D: the diameter of the end face
h: the thickness of liner
L: the length of Ball mill
W: the width of alumina liner
L1: the length of liner
Remark: GC: calculation of the total number of straight bricks and trapezoidal bricks according to tonnage of Ball mill according to the following table. Respectively calculate the No. of straight liner GC1 and trapezoidal liner GC2according to the proportion in the table.
Mill Tunnage | <0.3t< span=""> | 0.5T | 1--1.5T | 2.5--3T | 5--25T | 30--40 T |
Stri. Brick:Tra.Brick | 0:1 | 1:10 | 1:1 | 2:1 | 3:1 | 5:1 |
3. The total No. alumina liner:
Straight Liner=2Gf+ GC1 Trapezoidal Liner = GC2
Semi-Straight Brick=2GB+ GB1 semi-trapezoidal Brick= GB2
Flake Brick= R2
1. The material of installation:
The installation for lining Ball mill adopts 425# silicate white cement and a little 107# glue asadhesive.
2. The installation:
Before installation, we should clean surface of Ball mill.
(1)Installation should begin from the side walls installed with straight bricks totally and then adopt a certain number of semi- straight bricks to install matched. The gap between lining bricks should be less than 1.5mm. The installation of side walls should use straight bricks and semi-straight bricks only.
(2)After installing two side walls, then install round walls, which should adopt straight bricks and trapezoidal bricks. Make sure the bottom of lining bricks to contact tightly to the round walls, meanwhile use semi-straight brick and semi-trapezoidal liner to match (see the photo mentioned).
Specific installation steps are as following: Please install straight bricks first, then install trapezoidal bricks, at the last line, if the straight bricks can’t be inserted, then install fake bricks, whose gap is sealed tightly by white cement. Please let the workers install flexibly according to specific size of ball mill.
3. Maintenance:
After installation finished, we should maintain according to the following steps:
Dry the ball mill naturally for two days and put pour full water into the ball mill for 3 days, then take the water out and naturally dry 7 days at least.
After drying 7 days, pour water(occupying 70% of volume of mill)into ball mill, then charge alumina ball(occupying 60% of ball mill) and move ball mill for grinding 3 hours. Then move the ball mill the second time for grinding 1.5 hour. After 3 to 4 days, the ball mill could be normally operated.
In winter, new installed ball mill should be heated for two days. On the first day, heat the ball mill by electronic stove for 24 hours, then move the mill and heat the other side for 24 hours. After that, maintain the ball mill as the steps of above mentioned.
- Q: What is the difference between corundum and high alumina??
- The difference between them lies in the content of alumina and the alumina refractory products with alumina content higher than 48%The content of Al2O3 is higher than 90%, which is called corundum brick.
- Q: What are the specific raw materials for plastic pallets?
- There are two kinds of raw materials for plastic pallets: one is polypropylene (PP) and the other is polyethylene (HDPE).Plastic pallets for logistics storage: pp+pe material, recycled material 10%;Plastic trays for food trays: food grade PP, PE, pc;Polyethylene (HDPE) has excellent impact resistance and cold resistance, and it can resist environmental stress cracking. Excellent chemical stability, good oil resistance. Water absorption and tiny, low permeability, organic vapor transmission rate is larger. Electrical insulation is good, in all frequency range, dielectric properties are extremely excellent.
- Q: What is the standard classification of high alumina bricks and high alumina bricks?
- Refractory brick is non-metallic materials can be classified according to a kind of inorganic material, high aluminum brick, clay brick, magnesia brick, corundum brick, mullite bricks, silicon carbide materials such as brick, high alumina brick is used as a relatively wide range of products in accordance with the refractory brick high alumina refractory materials by high aluminum brick is generally divided into Al2O3 content three: I - II - >75% Al2O3 content; the content of Al2O3 is 60 ~ 75%; III - Al2O3 content from 48 to 60%.
- Q: How many cubic bricks does a high alumina brick have?
- It is related to the content of aluminum in high alumina bricks.
- Q: Density of high alumina bricks
- Alumina content of 48% or more, mainly from mullite and glass phase or corundum composition of lightweight refractory. The volume density is 0.4 ~ 1.35g/cm3. The porosity is 66% ~ 73%, and the compressive strength is 1 ~ 8MPa. Better thermal shock resistance.
- Q: What is spalling resistant high alumina brick?
- Spalling resistant high alumina brick is a kind of high alumina brick. Antistripping high alumina brick with high grade bauxite and containing Zr02 synthesis as raw material, according to a certain proportion by high pressure molding system in sintering products, products with anti stripping ability, and have the anti erosion potassium, sodium, sulfur, chlorine and alkali salt, low thermal conductivity and other properties that is the transition zone of cement kiln and decomposition of ideal material with remarkable characteristics, the product is good thermal shock resistance, strong ability to adapt to the environment. It is used in the preheating or decomposing furnace, grate cooler and so on.
- Q: What is the difference between high alumina brick and clay brick?
- Lightweight high alumina bricks are usually made of high alumina bauxite clinker with a small amount of clay. After grinding, the bricks are poured and shaped in the form of slurry by gas or foam method. They are fired at 1300~1500 DEG C. Sometimes industrial alumina can be used instead of some bauxite clinker. Used for lining and insulation of masonry kilns, as well as for areas where there is no strong, high temperature molten material erosion and erosion. When contacting the flame directly, the surface contact temperature shall not be higher than 1350 degrees centigrade.
- Q: How high can aluminum bricks expand at 80O degrees of heat?
- When an object is heated, the particle moves faster and thus occupies additional space. This phenomenon is called dilation.
- Q: Is glass wool inorganic thermal insulation material?
- The characteristics of glass wool, glass wool is the molten glass fibrosis, the formation of cotton like material, chemical composition of glass, is a kind of inorganic fibers. With good forming, small volume density, thermal conductivity, both thermal insulation, sound-absorbing performance, corrosion resistance, chemical stability.
- Q: Use of high alumina refractory bricks?
- Because of the high Al2O3 high aluminum products, low impurity content, the formation of fusible vitreous body less so than the clay brick high load softening temperature, but because mullite crystallization has not formed the network organization, so the load softening temperature is not high silica brick.
