- Q:Looking for Green Flashing Strobe Fog Lights, The size is H4, Any idea's!?
- No such thing. Fog light are low mounted clear or amber lights to help see in foggy conditions. Green lights are not allowed on any vehicle, strobe lights only on public safety vehicles.
- Q:Why is it that light can't travel through everything. On my psp there is an orange charging light that when you look at it from a different angle you can see these spikey things coming from it. When i put my hand near it the light shines through. So cant light shine throught everything?
- light can be weird although predicting its behavior is pretty easy. think about light reflection off of a lake. you know it can pass through the water but when it strikes the water at a shallow angle, it reflects off. that is how fiber optics work. the laser hits the sides of the fiber at such shallow angles it is reflected back into the fiber. what you are seeing from the side is that side it cant pass through. the spiky things? those must be one of two things. either it is the insides of the LED that you are seeing or the light is a frequency that your eyes cant focus on. if it is the frequency, you will see FUZZY looking light with spikes sticking out of it.

- Light years are a measurement of distance, not time. A single light year is the distance light travels in an Earth Year. A ray of light travels at about 186,000 miles per SECOND. So it's a long way. 2,000 light years is about twelve thousand TRILLION miles. So it's a very, very, very long way. EDIT: Just to give you an idea of the speed of light. A ray of light travels in a straight line under most circumstances, but if it could curve easily, it could circle the Earth about 7 times in 1 second.

- The light independent reaction occurs in the stroma of the chloroplast, and the light dependent reaction occurs in the thylakoid of the chloroplast. In the light dependent reaction (the two photosystems), products from there are transported to the light independent reaction. In the light dependent reaction, light (from the sun)splits two water molecules, and the H+ remains on the side, ready to be moved on to Photosystem I from II via the electron transport chain. Oxygen is released during Photosystem II. ATP synthase binds ADP and P together as the hydrogen atoms travel with the ATP synthase. In Photosystem I, NADP+ accepts and carries two pairs of hydrogen atoms, and while doing so, becomes NADPH. ATP and NADPH goes to the Calvin Cycle (light independent). In the Calvin Cycle, NADPH and ATP is taken in, and NADP+ and ADP is released to the light dependent reactions. Carbon dioxide is taken in, and glucose is released in the light independent reaction.

- Q:whats better to use in a studio for models? i have hair lights, key light, etc, so why use a flash if i can use continuous lights?
- For models, the amount of continuous light required for full lengths would be too hot and uncomfortable for the models and tough on their eyes and make up. Flash is fast,cooler and more comfortable.
- Q:Can you used colored light rays to stain things? I'm just super curious.
- No. Bright sunlight can cause a color change, but that is a bleaching action, making the colors lighter. It is modifying the dye in the material. But with good dyes, that does not happen.
- Q:Light bulb manufacturers like GE,Phillips sell bulbs as soft white and cool white. the soft white bulbs emits yellow light actually.and the cool white bulbs emits light that are really white.
- The color of light is measured in Kelvins, 1000 Kelvin represents candle light while 5000 Kelvin is noon daylight. Light globes called soft white or warm white have a color temperature of 2700 Kelvins and emit a pale yellow light, cool white is 4000K which gives that bright white light while daylight at 5000 K gives a bright white light with a bluish tinge. Yellow light like high pressure sodium globes used as fog lights in street lamps have a color temperature of 2100 K.

- They look great and would work great for a wedding. I would be careful about the wiring between them. If they are too stiff they will not hang very well. Have a great wedding:)
- Q:Light bulbs (with a tungsten filament) are calibrated to emit full spectrum light when a current flows through the filament. When light shines on the filament will a current be produced?
