- Q: Hi, I have in my sailboat 2 2 V batteries. I would like to buy solar panel(s) in order to recharge them. As i am in mexico and there is always high sun . i think it is a good idea.Usage of the batteries is very light . I have found 5-2V pannels with 80mA that fit in the sailboat. I want to know if and how i can have like 5 to 0 of them set together to charge the batteries and what other material would i need.also, i would like to know what happend if the pannels only send on 5V in a 2 V battery? Is it still charging but on 40 % of the capacity a 2 v pannel would charge or its just not doing nothing ?
- I don't know what you have avilable to you down there, but if you were in the states i'd say go to a camping supply store they have lots of solar options out today. check one link below
- Q: How to make a simple solar panel?
- Guide okorder /
- Q: How much would solar panels cost for: A Cell phoneA average houseA car
- They would cost quite a bit but the user would likely be eligible for some energy credits from the power company and their cell phone carrier which would bring down the costs
- Q: How do solar panels affect the electrical grid?
- Solar panels affect the electrical grid by supplying clean and renewable energy. When solar panels generate excess electricity, it can be fed back into the grid, reducing the overall demand for fossil fuel-based power generation. This helps to stabilize the grid and reduce carbon emissions. However, the intermittent nature of solar power can create challenges for grid operators in managing variations in supply and demand.
- Q: How do solar panels impact wildlife?
- Solar panels have a minimal impact on wildlife compared to other energy sources. While some concerns exist regarding the potential for bird collisions and habitat disruption during installation, these impacts are relatively low and can be mitigated through proper siting and design. Additionally, the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions achieved by solar panels benefits wildlife by combating climate change and preserving their natural habitats.
- Q: What's the best deal going on companies leasing out Solar Panels in California?
- you have been very mislead by someone. Or ? did you listen to a Obama speech or something ? EDIT ; thanks for response via e mail. But if you think you can save money by, renting solar panels , then you are a very ignorant person. The only way that a scheme would would work ,is if the company that is leasing the panels to you ,,have bribed lobbied the local or fed politicians to get subsidized to provide the panels. then they get payed to install them and guaranteed to make a profit by the gov. for green energy that is why you have to pay 25 cents , while most people pay 0 cents , because you subsidizing all the profits of these Professional thieves. Who's job is to find new ways to get into that deep pool of public dollars,,tax dollars . Question for you .. Do really think the rented solar panels will? ) pay for installation 2) pay for the cost to buy the panes 3) pay the sales commission to the people that sold it to you 4) pay the on going commission to those that over see them 5) Add to that the higher rate on your elec bill to pay for these people to be subsidized , so they can rent you some solar panels ??????? Like I said ,,,,,,,you must be very ignorant about energy. Or very Ignorant about the thousands of companies that are formed to succk tit of the tax payers. You are ignorant on both of those points. So dont get piisssed of at me for answering your question !!!!! Instead , you should ask why you are so easily led ? Why you are so easily fooled by the users ? That is those that use the gov to use ignorant people like you. HAHAHAAH. And you fell for the whole scam without even realizing it That is why I use the word ignorant ,, because you are. If you dont know what ignorant means google it to find out. because you are,
- Q: What are the maintenance requirements for solar panels?
- The maintenance requirements for solar panels include occasional cleaning to remove dirt and debris, checking for any damage or loose connections, and ensuring that the panels are receiving sufficient sunlight. Additionally, regular monitoring of the system's performance and scheduling professional inspections can help identify and address any potential issues.
- Q: I am looking to wire in some solar panels into my home. I already have plenty of wiring, and some solar panels around. I just need to know what I need to do to wire them into my home so I can lower my electric bill. This past month it was six hundred dollars. Can someone direct me to some information, or tell me how without telling me to hire some guy to come out to charge me thirty thousand dollars to install two or three thousand dollars worth of equipment?
- I am all for do-it yourselfers, I am one, but... Sorry to tell you, but connecting solar panels to grid power will require an electrician. There are many requirements for special disconnects to prevent harm to the utillity company workers that must be considered. You will also have to have an inverter sized to match your panels. The simple answer is to connect your panels to something specific, without connecting it into your house wiring. An example is to connect your water well pump to solar power and disconnect it from the grid. But you will still need an inverter and will need to calculate the power demands of the pump and the amount of power available from your panels, which varies by your longitude and latitude. It sound like a simple thing to do, but without special training and experience you will be sorry if you try this yourself.
- Q: Me and my friend have made our own functional solar panels for considerably less than retail prices and we are thinking about selling them. Are there any legal issues regarding this? Would I need any special licenses or anything? Would using brand name components or parts in the panels make any difference legally? I want to know before I just go out and start doing it. Thanks!
- Would those be heating panels, or electric panels? If the latter, you would not have any safety certifications (I assume), so the panels would be illegal to use for a serious, grid-tied system. You would need to make this clear to your customers, that they could only connect to stand-alone systems. If this is in the US, there is always some finite danger of lawsuits if your product is defective. If the water heater leaks or blows up on someone's roof, you might have to go to court to defend yourselves. Even if you disclaim all warranties, in some states, if you sell something as a water heater then it has to heat water reasonably, and also not be hazardous. In other words, fit for its purpose. Check your local laws.
- Q: Interested to know if it is possible to install Solar Panels to run my Jacuzzi?Don't want to do the whole house just the jacuzzi anybody have any ideas Thanks
- yes you have to install an inverter to convert DC to AC....and a battery pack if you want to use jacuzzi on a cloudy day or at night
