Q: I have a female Red/OGG/Sandfire/Blood X Salmon Hypo/Citrus/Snow/Tangerine Hypo (Het Hypo) bearded dragon that I would like to breed. What do I need before I breed her? She is almost a year old, I know she isn‘t old enough yet, but I want to go ahead and start acquiring the equipment that I will need. I have had several offers to breed her with other dragons, so I already have a list of possible male candidates. Also any advice and suggestions would be helpful. Thank you for your time and help.
if you are only looking to produce one clutch every now and then, i suggest you get a hovabator, they work great, and arent terribly expensive for the small breeder. Once you get a hovabator, you should also get either vermiculite or hatchrite, many people debate on which is better, i preffer hatchrite but i think you should make the decision for yourslef. then all you need is a laybox big enough for the female to fit in very comfortably. Fill it with moist eco earth when she is gravid. Then one day you will find her in the box digging, she will lay the eggs. Let them sit for a few hours, then set up your hovabator, and eggs trays with vermiculite or hatchrite, then take the eggs out of the lay box very carefully, and make sure that the same side of the eggs is always facing up, because if you put an egg into the eggs trays upside down or on its side, the baby will die. Then just put the full egg trays into the hovabator and let them grow. I hope this helped
Q: If i put leopard gecko eggs in vermiculite, is there a certain quot;vermiculite to water ratioquot;? Youtube videos say to measure them in a 1:8 ratio. But lets just say i keep the vermiculite humid, and sot soggy or too wet.... would it still work? Or would the eggs die?
a million. like a christmas tree lot 2. Redwoods are evergreen conifers, or trees that produce cones which includes pines and spruces. fairly than leaves, they have eco-friendly needles that they preserve 12 months round. 3. maximum are over 350 ft tall. A 379.a million-foot tree in Redwood nationwide Park is the international's tallest.
Q: Brownish leopard gecko eggs?
You should have drilled it before firing it
Q: She is gravid but she is not close to laying her next clutch of eggs yet. I have an egg laying box with vermiculite in the vivermiam. Her poop had shiny stuff from the vermiculite and then white stuff on the poop has yellow spots on it. Can she be constipated if she at the vermiculite? But why is she not eating her shed skin? SHE USED TO EAT IT BEFOREI also got a 5-6 year old male who also does not eat his skin but i helpe him shed. Why doesnt he eat it as well?
they probably don't want to, most of ours do but sometimes we just take it of for them if the seem like they don't want to.
Q: My orchid plants leaves are turning yellow and falling offam I giving too much waTER OR NOT ENOUGH?
From what you have said, obviously they have been through an ordeal due to being dried out and being shipped. Being dried out is not necessarily a problem, because some orchid genus endure periods of drought in their natural environment. Others, however, cannot tolerate it. So, to really help you, we need to know what kind of orchids you bought. One thing I would be wondering about is if they experienced severe cold during shipping. They may be losing leaves due to this rather than due to anything you have done, and now that they are in a less stressful environment again they may recover just fine, albeit with a loss of some foliage. Again, knowing what orchids you have would be helpful in giving suggestions as to how you can best care for them. There are literally thousands of different kinds, each with its own needs as far as light, water, temperature, and humidity go. One thing that rarely helps and that often is fatal is over-, not under-watering. If you planted them in good quality orchid mix, watering them every couple of days is too much.
Q: I had a philodendron plant in my house. I decided to put it outside. The wind knocked it over. Some of the plants stem is bent and broken, so I cut it off. The ‘cutting‘ I salvaged has no roots, it‘s all in the soil. I placed the philodendron in water, hoping it will grow new roots. Is there anything else I should do? (I don‘t have a picture of it)

Q: I recently bought a dozen Robellini Phoenix Palm Tree seeds and I was curious if anyone had any tips or advice on growing them :). I was told by the company to presoak the seeds(which is being done right now). I plan on only planting them 1/2 in. deep as instructed but i‘m uncertain how much sun light I should give them once they begin growing or how much water (ect.). Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Because they're not coconut palms. There are about 200 genera and 2600 species of palms in the world. only a few produce what you'll think of as coconuts. Some palms, for instance, produce dates, others betel nuts, carnauba wax, rattan, oil, and a lot of other products. Mostly what I remember seeing in Phoenix during the one brief visit I had were about three species of Washingtonia (fan palm) and a lot of Phoenix canariensis (Canary Island date palm) Coconut palm, Cocos nucifera, is introduced in the US-- you'll see it in FL, NC, HI and in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Q: I have recently found that my family was exposed to vermiculite, a material containing asbestos, in my childhood home. During my childhood my father remodeled our home several times. What is our risk of developing asbestos related diseases? (I am having trouble finding true cancer rates and information in google searches.)No one in my family is showing abnormalities 10+ years after moving out.
Are you talking about nesting material or incubation material. For nesting/humid box, I use bed-a-beast and spagnhum moss. For incubation, I use Hatchrite. It is available online and comes ready to use. Just open the bag, put it in a container, put the eggs in it, and incubate.
Q: I‘m looking for a soil that isn‘t a mix, or that is mixed 50% vermiculite. I‘m planting rose seeds, and need one that drains well. Thank you in advance!
