 Exfoliated expanded vermiculite introduction :

Vermiculite is a layer-structured metamorphic rock of gibbsite silicate. Rich in magnesium, it comes from hot-liquid-eroded or weathered phlogopite. When it is heated to lose water and expands, lt turns curvingas a leech. Therefore is called vermiculite.lt can be divide into original vermiculite and expanded vermiculite. color it can also be divided into golden vermiculite and white vermiculite.

Exfoliated expanded vermiculite physical and chemical quota :

Being differently hydrated and oxidation, the same vermiculite may have different chemical compositions .Generally, its chemical compositions are as follows:

Vermiculite Chemical quota: Mg x (H2O)(Mg3-x)(ALSiO3O10)(OH2)

Q: well my sister has a ten gallon tank and she wants a frog is a tree frog good and what do they eat and can it live in a 10 gal its hole life if it cant what is a good beginner frog
Do not get a tree frog unless its from a pet store. If its from the wild do not get it. And another good frog beginner would be a pac man frog but beware they r rly fisty
Q: i found lizard eggs. do you have to help them hatch?are they allowed to be exposed to the sun? what temperature do the eggs have to be in ? do the eggs have to be in a incubator? what else do i need to know about hatching lizard eggs?
LEAVE THEM WHERE YOU FOUND THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are too many variables to this question. It would depend on the type of lizard as to what would be good for the eggs. I am assuming that since you said I found the eggs that they were laid by a wild lizard. Leave it to nature. A wild mother lizard would know where to lay her eggs so if you disturb the nest you are going to kill the babies. I would recommend that you just watch the nest daily and see the babies when they hatch. Let them remain wild and free.
Q: My umbrella plant is sick! Please help!?
First of all I wouldn't fertilize more that once a month. Some plants prefer a potting media that is slightly acidic (has a pH under 6-7). Use one of the fertilizers made for Azaleas, Camellias or Gardenias. If you have a plant that has leaves with green veins and yellow coloration in between the veins, you have a plant that isn't getting the iron it needs. This problem is called chlorosis. This problem results when the potting media is so alkaline that the iron isn't available to the plant. Fertilize scheffleras regularly with a gentle organic fertilizer. Plants growing in reduced light will need less frequent fertilization than plants growing in bright light. Coffee grounds make an excellent fertilizer for this plant. Some houseplants are sensitive to chemicals in the water, especially fluoride. Or you might have a salt or fertilizer buildup in the soil, is there a layer of white crystals on the pot? If so try re-potting your plant. If not, your tap water may have too many chemicals in it for the plant. This baby wants bottled water. Your plant seems to want more humidity. Try placing the plant in the kitchen or bathroom to give it more humidity, or place a tray of water with pebbles in it to keep the plant out of the water under the plant. Or try placing a fountain near the plant.
Q: was thinking of renting a bob cat to level , then roll over the ground back and forth to pack the dirt down. Any ideas /tips would be greatly appreciated , seeing as Im a woman and im doing this all on my own for the 1st time!, Ive called around my area and no1 offers help . Sheesh i thought money talks! ;op thanks in advance for the ideas.
pumice does not sink in water unless it has been floating for many years
Q: Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouts, herbs, medicinal plants, etc.? Also, small trees in a small flower pot? Thanks.
Tomatoes, most herbs (cilantro, basil, oregano, rosemary), bell peppers and most kinds of scorching peppers will also be grown in pots- either begin from seeds or buy small plants. I've grown all those in pots myself plus i have began carrots and radishes from seed in deeper pots. You could even sow a little bit unfastened leaf lettuce or mescalun combine in just right sized pots for salad. You do not want a fancy pot. I've seen someone grow tomatoes through making a hole within the top of a bag of potting soil and sticking a tomato plant into the bag. Pots can dry put swiftly so you are going to have got to water as a rule -by and large day-to-day when it's sizzling. Higher pots keep moist longer. Sun for simplest part of the day is okay for many greens- you just get a little less yield. When you on no account have sun on the patio, you then would have to provide then some solar in other places or use a grow lamp. We have now grown all many of these on a sunny windowsill too, mainly the herbs. Good luck.
Q: I am building a rocket stove, basically a large cylinder with a smaller cylinder inside it. The smaller cylinder has the insulating material around it between it and the larger cylinder. What materials could I put between these two cylinders to insulate from the extreme heat?? Because I do not know where I can get vermiculite or perlite as suggested in the youtube videos. Thanks for your help.
It may not attack the eggs now, but if the mold continues to grow, it may destroy all eggs. I would scoop as much of the mold out as you can and then let it dry out a little, maybe stop adding water to it.
Q: How much should the ratio of soil vermiculite to perlite be?
The cake, put the pelvic floor relatively okay ~ ~ to let the seedlings have a process of adaptation ~ ~ ~ I now add more perlite. Vermiculite feels the only use now is probably: when you plant seeds, sprinkle a thin layer over the surface... Very few in the soil.. It feels less breathable ~ as I just how to perlite
Q: In what ways do vermiculite and perlite differ in their properties and uses? (e.g. as compost additives)?
You'll need more than water to grow in hydroponic medium. I suggest you look into this neat gadget, the aero grow, which is a home system to do just that, fairly inexpensive. It takes care of the lighting, nutrients, timers, and all...
Q: I only have regular potting soil (of pretty good quality). I don‘t have any vermiculite or sand or transplant medium. Will my cuttings take root in normal potting soil? How about if I add those little white granules that hold water? Is there anything else I can do/add to make the soil cutting-friendly?Thanks! :)
just keep the soil loose. Don't press in down in the pot. After inserting your cutting, cover the pot fully with plastic. This will keep the soil consistently moist so that you don't have to check it everyday. If the cutting has leaves you may want to cover those too to prevent them from wilting.
