- Q: I need komatsu bucket teeth 6600, middle tooth 480, bucket teeth adapters 140 and tooth point 1000. The price in entity store are expensive, and I will wait for a week at least! Are the products online reliable?
- You can, but why? These type on parts are best if sourced locally, especially for heavy equipment parts, the shipping alone will be a fortune!
- Q: i own my own construction and landscaping company and have 7 years experience in an excavator bulldozer and other pieces of heavy machinery.
- There isn't any machinery there to speak of. There isn't any government there to speak of. Perhaps contact Habitat for Humaniy; in a few months they may need someone with your skills to help in the rebuilding process--which is going to go on for YEARS.
- Q: Where are the second-hand machinery and equipment acquisition?
- And the general petrochemical machinery: petroleum drilling machines, oil machinery, chemical machinery, pump, blower, valve, gas compressor, refrigeration and air conditioning machinery, paper machinery, printing machinery, plastic processing machinery, pharmaceutical machinery etc..
- Q: I swore into the Navy and i chose MR over a few other jobs, the other jobs sucked and they said this was the better one of them all. Do you know where MR's are usually stationed and if its a cool job? thanks
- You need a job that you can be happy with. Too many guys go in with no idea, and end up really mad at the system. The time they spend ends up being a waste. I liked being an ET. As a Computer System Analyst, anyone who thinks it is not the highest tech job is crazy. I wrote code and repaired circuits; so it was working on both hardware and software. Often trying to figure out which side the problem was on. I later got into Intell, and served as a Command Intelligence Officer. Which was also cool. I know a lot of Nucs too. Really it is all good. I do recommend that you consider subs. On subs your working with a better group of guys. More bubbleheads have degrees than you would see on a surface ship, and your more encouraged to finish a degree, or three. Also your more encouraged to invest and built a portfolio. Bubbleheads are paid more, and encouraged to attend courses on tax-planning and investing. So it is possible to come out at 20 years with multiple degrees and very wealthy. But the most important thing is to be happy with your choice.
- Q: if the company introduces new machinery and reduces its direct labour, how is the break even point affected?
- Fixed costs (depreciation of machinery) increase, Variable costs (wages) decrease ...
- Q: Which God should we pray in the sucess of machineries business?
- There's only one God, so pray to Him about all your needs. You don't need to go far.
- Q: Explain why machinery used on a.c supply is usually rated in kVA instead of kW.?
- Because most machinery present an inductive load and so has a less-than-unity power factor. The current peak lags the voltage peak in the two waveforms. However, as the current is drawn at a lower voltage (away from the peak), the load current is higher to get the same overall power to the machine. eg. if it took 20% more current to make up for the voltage phase offset, a 1000W load would be taking the same current as a 1200W load at unity power factor. That's the VA rating, it's equivalent to watts at unity power factor.
- Q: Why is hydraulic machinery so effective???
- The simple reason is that Hydraulics utilizes fluid as opposed to Pneumatics (air) although both are referred to as fluid power , the liquid normally oil used in hydraulics is simply uncompressible. SO THE FLUID is essentially stronger than STEEL when a pump pushes the oil to a device like a cylinder, imagine the fluid being a solid BAR of STEEL say 6 inches in diameter, it is literally like pushing a bar of steel. Heavy equipment say could normally operate at say 2500 PSI out of the pump, since the pump pressure is essetially regulated, it is simply a matter of selecting the desired force and sizing say the cylinder (for instance) appropriatey. Since: Force = Pressure (pump pressure) times Area (of the cylinder) The forces are absolutely staggering with a quarter of a million pounds force off a 10 cylinder at 2500 psi pump output. the chart below may not have been converted properly, but if you work the equations, you will see that the incompressibility of the fluid is the secret to limitless amounts of power. Usually safety is the only limiting concern with hydraulics as it is easy to die working close to anything with such reserve and speed. Cylinder bore Force at 2500 psi 2 7,850 lbs 3 17,663 lbs 4 31,400 lbs 5 49,063 lbs 670,650 lbs 7 96,163 lbs 8 125,600 lbs 9 158,963 lbs 10 258,750lbs Pneumatics are faster usually, BUT NEVER as powerful due to the compressible nature of air.
- Q: Should the Bible be used when driving or operating heavy machinery?
- If the heavy machinery in question is a wood chipper then certainly, yes.
- Q: i need info on the following machinery that were used in the WWIpics and videos are accepted as well bolt-action rifle machine guns artillery/ shells flamethrowers thanx !!!! :D
- Hiram Maxim invented the first true machine gun and offered it to his native country, the US. The War Department Procurement Office said, No, them boys will shoot too many bullets! Who'll pay for them? and turned it down. Actually, the Procurement Officers had all been offered lucrative jobs at Colt's Manufacturing, just like now. Hiram took his gun to England, who did buy a license to make the gun under the Vickers name, but it was the Germans who really saw the advantages of Maxim's gun. They learned to lay in crossing fields of fire so that each gun protected the guns on either side of it. This was a murderous advantage to defending positions.
