Introduction
Electrolytic manganese metal flake is with silver gray metallic luster, hard and crisp, melting point 1245, boilling point 1962, with strong oxidation-reduction capacity. Specific gravity is 7.2. In comparison with metal manganese made by elctric warming, the electrogenerated mental manganese is of higher purity, superior quality and wider application.

- Metals are not usually referred to as corrosive. Metals are corroded by air, water or other materials. In the sense of corrodability, I think the activity series of metals would be what you may be looking for. Metals at the top are most susceptible to corrosion while those at the bottom are the least. Cesium is near the top and reacts rapidly with air or moisture. Gold is near the bottom and is highly resistant to strong oxidizing agents like nitric acid.

- My favorite genres of Metal are Folk and Technical Death Metal. Folk: Moonsorrow (most epic band ever) Ensiferum Finsterforst Asmegin Forefather Kampfar Tyr Eluveitie Black Messiah XIV Dark Centuries Thaurorod Turisas (but they're kinda generic) Tech-Death: Atheist Cynic Necrophagist Theory in Practice Death (only the later albums) Pitbulls in the Nursery Blotted Science (this band has no vocals though.) I also reccomend: Wintersun Carcass Opeth Skeletonwitch (LISTEN TO THIS BAND) Trouble Candlemass Summoning Hypocrisy And I saved the best for last, Ayreon. This band will blow your mind, seriously. Well, it's a project by one dude, not a band, but still. Listen to them. Srlsy. Now.

- Q: How are metals protected from oxidizing?
- Black Metal - Is usually themed by demonic, godley, or astral lyrics, with high pitched screams and low tuned guitars. Celtic Frost, Old In Flames, Hate Forest, Imortal. Nu-Metal - Is basically what you'll hear commercially. Not much differnece between Nu-metal and heavy rock really. Adema, American Headcharge, Slipknot ect... Thrash metal - High tempo, quick paced metal, kinda like a harder faster new metal. Gojira, Doom, Dead Head. Death Metal - Death themed, high tuned guitar, quick tempo and heavy use of guitars. Low and high growling. Carcass, Abysmal Dawn. Animosity, Angel Death, Gandalf Doom metal - Slow tempo, doom and destructioned themed - Swallow the sun, Candelmass, Eternal Tears Of Sorrow. You kinda get the idea. If you simply say heavy metal nowadays, you basically refer to Nu-metal.
- Q: What properties of Magnesium make it a metal?
- They disgust me to no end... Sometimes I can see where they're coming from, like when they say certain genres like nu metal and glam metal aren't real metal but for the most part, I think they're ridiculous. If you ask me, they're the real poseurs and obviously don't know very much about what being a metalhead is about. If they did, they'd know that going about thinking you listen to better music than others and judging people based on what they listen to is one of the biggest poseur things you could ever do in metal. Or poser as they spell it. That's how dumb they are, they don't even know how to spell poseur right.

- Speed metal tends to be similar, but faster. Speed metal also tends to be more melodic. Thrash is faster than traditional metal. Check out the second link, a site dedicated to metal. lists all the genres. SO many nowadays. I like the old days when there was heavy metal and, heavy metal.
- Q: I just kinda wanted to get a vibe for how people on yahoo feel about metal and all it's little subgenres, I presonally like thrash and death (among others) and was hoping to get some new bands too.
- Well, each metal has its own unique density. So if you know the density of the unknown metal, you could match it up a metal with the same density as the one you calculated of the unknown metal. I hope this helps.

- Here are some good heavy metal bands...metallica, slayer, megadeth, drowning pool, system of a down, Slipknot, pantera. Check them out and a good song by pantera is cemetery gates and cowboys from hell.

- What do you mean? You got everything wrong. HIM is not goth or metal, they're just a rock band. Otep is certainly not death metal, they're more on the extreme metal and nu-metal side. They are far from death metal, I'll give you an example; Death is a death metal band. Slipknot is just nu-metal, same as Korn.
