Q: I have all the symptoms of iron deficiency anemia and I‘m having a blood test ASAP, but I can‘t take pills for the life of me. Someone recommended iron infusions as an alternative - what are they?
* Iron dextran (trade names including Cosmofer, DexFerrum, Infed) * Iron sucrose (trade names including Venofer) * Iron carboxymaltose (trade name Ferinject) Iron poisoning may result in mortality or short-term and long-term morbidity.
Q: the doctor just rung and said i had to much iron. something to do with my liver?
you'll become IRON WOMAN, lol just kidding, you'll get vitamin poison.
Q: I always buy REALLY crappy cheap curling irons. i never had a good one that actually works. so im willing to spend alot. whats a good one perferably from sallys? a BIG curling iron for big curls?
im not too sure if GHD has a curling iron but i know that there staighteners curl as well really good. They are quiet expensive and salon quality but if you want a good one that will last a life time get a GHD brand one.
Q: I want to use an iron-on transfer, but I don‘t know how to use an iron. It says to use a dry iron on cotton settings, but my cotton setting uses steam. Please don‘t chide me or make fun of me for not knowing how to use an iron; I‘m just looking for answers. I don‘t want to ruin my new pillowcase.
Use the other tips to find out about the steam. Use firm pressure on to the pillow case and keep the iron moving to prevent burning. Use circles if possible.
Q: Do you have a GOOD recipe for a flat iron steak?
NGREDIENTS (Nutrition) * 2 pounds flat iron steak * 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley * 1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary * 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh chives * 1/4 cup Cabernet Sauvignon * 1/2 teaspoon salt * 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper * 1/4 cup dry mustard powder DIRECTIONS 1. Place the steak inside of a large resealable bag. In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil, garlic, parsley, rosemary, chives, Cabernet, salt, pepper and mustard powder. Pour over the steak in the bag. Press out as much air as you can and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. 2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the steak in the hot skillet for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or to your desired degree of doneness. Discard the marinade. These steaks taste best at medium rare. Allow them to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Q: I usually iron them when I want to wear them but it would be easier if I ironed a lot at a time. What works best for you?
When I did iron I did it all at once. That' s the best way. I made a New Years resolution to never iron again. I'm retired so I can to that. Things that have to be ironed go to the cleaners.
Q: I just bought some Titleist AP 1 from someone for 200 bucks.I am assuming these irons are cast ironsI just want to know the differences. Thanks
Cast irons are more for beginning golfers they allow you to hit the ball straight more consistantly with a flawed swing. They are sometimes called game improvement irons. Forged irons are what most tour pros play they are made by hand, they are forged and the cast one are just put in a mold cooled. Forged irons allow you to work the ball more, you can hit fades and draws easier but they aren't very forgiving. You can still work the ball with cast irons it is just a bit harder. But the Titleist AP1s are cast, AP2s are forged.
