Q: My doctor said i am REALLY low in iron, i need to eat more stuff. What conatins alot of iron? What cereals are fortified?
Instead of cereals because (i'm not sure of where you live so i don't know the ones available) i would say you should eat lentils if you don't like meat or you should take iron supplements. Eating meat is also important. Also when eating foods or having supplements containing iron you should consume vitamin c because vitamin c is what makes your body absorb iron. So drink some orange juice or eat something containing vitamin c when you consume iron.
Q: I donated my blood today and they said my iron level was 52, is this a good range for iron?
While others have given extensive explanations concerning serum iron levels, FDA guidelines require either hemoglobin or hematocrit (blood count) determination prior to volunteer blood donation. Based on your result, collection staff most likely measured your hematocrit. 52% is on the upper end of the acceptable range, and likely explained by slight dehydration. Overall, your levels are fine. Thanks for such a generous gift.
Q: I was wondering how fast an iron supplement would get into your blood?I‘m donating blood tuesday and I‘m afraid my iron won‘t be high enough, so I was wondering if I eat high iron foods and take the supplement, will it change the level in my blood for this tuesday?
Been have a sever unhealthy contraction over 4months, whilst I cross to Doctor 4 extraordinary occasions , whiteblood cells or protein used to be gift every time, health care professional offers me antiboties every time after I take final tablet inside week heres comes the contraction! Pls aid me?
Q: Can you iron an iron-on patch onto Corduroy? I have a basic, solid maroon corduroy cloth purse, and wanted to add on a little patch for decoration. Should it work, and should i use a towl or straight iron it on?thanks.
You can go to tandy leather and use an ax all to use a specialilized needle and thread. I have a jacket 28 years old from JC Whitney with a lot of patches (leather and pre fab) that still is bad to the bone. Learn some leather craft or have a friend or have it done by someone familiar with leather work,
Q: Or was the iron before the toaster? Who invented them and when?
people used irons long before toasters. They used to make toast in a skillet or fried the bread. But folks have always wanted their clothes to be neatly ironed, they just used old cast iron flat irons (that's where they got the name) they heated them by putting them in the fire or near the coals
Q: Who would win and why?I‘ll say Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
They are not at all safe
Q: In science today my teacher assigned that I find iron so we can put it in hydrogen peroxide and see what it does. I don‘t know much about iron. What are some things made out of iron, please help! Thanks. Use detail please.! Thanks.
you should see my bathroom
Q: I can only afford a $50 flat iron because I recently bought a bunch of curling irons. I can‘t afford a CHI or ghd and I have thick hair. What is a great inexpensive flat iron for thick hair? Thanks!
Caffeine sugar I would imagine
Q: Aything you know bout iron
Iron doesn't belong to a family per se. It is an element (#26) found on the periodic table of elements. There are other metals that may exhibit similar characteristics as iron. The first use of iron dates to prehistory when meteorites were smelted. Cast iron was first produced in 550 BC. I am not sure who first described the elemental properties of iron but you can look it up.
Q: Iron can form two different ionic compounds with oxygen-- Fe2O3 and FeO.I don‘t understand how this happens! Thanks!
it forms more than two, it can also make Fe3O4, and also oxyhydroxides like FeO(OH) and Fe(OH)3. The reason is that iron has three commonly possible oxidation statesiron with zero charge (iron metal), iron with a 2+ charge (as in FeO) and iron with a 3+ charge, as in Fe2O3. In the right chemical conditions, some of the iron can be in the 2+ state, and other iron in the 3+ state, which is how you get Fe3O4. iron can be stable at either 2+ of 3+, depending upon how oxidizing the system is. When there is a lot of stuff that wants electrons, like oxygen, iron is mostly 3+. when there is only stuff that wants electrons about the same as iron, it is in the 2+ state. When there is not much of anything competing for electrons, iron forms iron metal (Fe)
