Q: how will i clean it as its very tender to touch.. :(: The best thing to use is sea salt soaks: Add 1/4 of a teaspoon of Sea salt (available in supermarkets) to a mug of kettle boiled water, mix and leave to cool slightly before applying it to the piercing. For this particular piercing it may be best to dip and soak your ear in the cup of solution and leave it there until the water cools. After this rinse away any excess salt, dry carefully, with a cotton bud gently remove any crusty bits and avoid touching it at all, especially with dirty hair/shampoo and conditioner etc. Do this twice a day for a few months after which you can cut down to doing it just once a day and just rinse it with the warm water in the shower.

Just remember to relax and eat a good meal before you go. Healing takes around 6 months to a year. Your piercer will instruct you on how to care for it. Always ask your piercer any and all questions you have.

Q: what should i do?? i've been washing it and leaving it to heal but im worried about it. i've had the piercing for 9 days now and i only noticed this yesterday. any ideas?: that means that was piercing wasn't done as well as it could have been. there is nothing you can do about it except take it out, let it heal, and have it re-pierced. go see your piercer. they should be able to tell you if it's a problem, and they should re-pierce it for free.

Q: I just got my ear pierced(scaffold) and I was wondering if anything would go wrong if I played sports... I play soccer Track and my coach said they would let me play soccer as long as I covered it up, but I was just wondering if I get hit or something if it would damage my ear really badly? :) Thanks lt;3: i probably will cause if u get him with a soccer ball it could rip the scaffold ring right out of ur ear. u should just take it out when u do sports and when ur not doing sports put it back it. i hope this helps u
