FAQ:

Q1: Why buy Materials & Equipment from OKorder.com?

A: All products offered byOKorder.com are carefully selected from China's most reliable manufacturing enterprises. Through its ISO certifications, OKorder.com adheres to the highest standards and a commitment to supply chain safety and customer satisfaction.

Q2: What is a solar PV module?

A: A solar PV module consists of many solar cells that are connected together (typically in series) and packaged in a frame (typically made of aluminum).

Q3: What are the advantages and disadvantages of monocrystalline solar PV modules?

A: Monocrystalline solar PV modules are the most efficient type of solar PV modules, with the exception of CdTe thin film solar PV modules. As a result, monocrystalline solar PV modules are more expensive when compared to almost all other types of solar PV modules.

Q4: What is the typical service life of a solar PV module?

A: The typical life of a PV module is 25 years. However, superior quality PV modules boast service lives up to 35-40 years (electrical generating capacity is often reduced, however by that point).

Q: Can solar panels be installed on theme parks or entertainment venues?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on theme parks or entertainment venues. In fact, many theme parks and entertainment venues around the world have already embraced solar energy as a sustainable and cost-effective solution. By installing solar panels, these venues can generate their own clean energy, reduce their carbon footprint, and save on energy costs in the long run.
Q: Can solar panels be used to power an entire home?
Yes, solar panels can be used to power an entire home. With the right number of solar panels and a proper energy storage system, it is possible to generate enough electricity to meet the energy needs of a household. However, it is important to consider factors such as energy consumption, geographical location, and system size to determine if solar panels alone can entirely power a home.
Q: I had installed over the summer a solar panel system on my house. Hers some infofor you: I live in MOThe system cost 25K (Rounded numbers)The Rebate from the utility company was about 0KThe expected tax rebate will be about 5KI have a home office from which I work and is 5% of my homes sq footage. My question is though I am getting a basic tax rebate, should I be able to claim part of this off as an expense for my home office? It seams logical since I used to deduct part of my electric bill and I there for should be able to write off part of this. I am, after all using electricity and getting a bill from the utility that is higher than it would be if I didn't have the office2. If so which amount should it be? The full 25K or something after the rebates.
5% of the Net Cost (After Rebates) Depreciated over 27.5 years. EDIT: Oops ....39 years. I was actually debated that in my head before I posted.
Q: I just bought a quot;00 wattsolar panel system to install on my house. I just wanted to know if by 00 watts, does that mean per hour, min, day week or what?
00 watts is like energy consumption. The computer i am using right now is probably around 300 watts right now. It's not always 00 watts, that's probably maximum. And also, watts = volts x amps.
Q: What would these solar panels power? For instance, my energy bill shows 2035kWh for last month. How much would this remove from that if it outputted full power? Thanks!
A solar panel that is rated at 60 watts would produce that amount under the most favorable conditions of direct sunlight at noon in a good location. This would taper off to nothing at the beginning and ends of the daylight. A 60 watt Panel operating at full output for hour would produce 60 watt hours. If we assumed a straight line of output from zero to 60 watts and back to 0 again over 6 hours the average output would be 30 watts x 6 hours = 80 watt hours / day x 365 days = 65700 watt hours in a year / 2 = 5475 watt hours in a month. You lose about 0% converting from DC to AC. This reduces this to about 4927.5 watt hours. Your bill is measured in KW hr which are 000 times bigger. This is 4.9275 KW hr or .24% of your last month's bill. At a national average of about $.2 per KW hr the energy out put for one month would be equal to about 60 cents.
Q: I really want a projector but i hear they use a lot of energy because of the lamp. I want a good one to watch movies and play games on. but i don't want one that is gonna kill the lighting bill.is there like a solar panel or something i could use for it. PLZ HELP.
Do understand, that a solar panel is slow to pay for itself. Let's say your electric bill was $200 a month ($2400 a year). A solar system would cost perhaps $24,000 so you would actually have paid your first 0 years of electricity in advance when installing the panels. After that 0 years, you start to be ahead financially. It can still be a good idea, but it may not be the quick and cheap solution you were looking for.
Q: If not how do they give power to a house/a company?
They are wired into the power system much like the normal power from the local power co. That is simply stated as it can be a complex system with switching cercuits and computer control. Most home systems are more simple and in many cases the solar pannels realy only charge batteies. The ones that use them directly only feed them to certain curcits while the rest run off of the local power company. Solar systems still can't supply a lot of current so it takes a bunch of them to get much usable wattage.
Q: Can solar panels be used on vehicles?
Yes, solar panels can be used on vehicles. Solar panels can be installed on vehicles such as cars, trucks, boats, and even bicycles to generate electricity from sunlight. This electricity can be used to power various components of the vehicle, such as the battery, lights, or even the motor in some cases. Solar panels on vehicles offer a sustainable and renewable energy source, reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels and contributing to a greener and more eco-friendly transportation system.
Q: I don't want to spend a fortune, maybe talking like over $200 but I would like to power my computer, the monitor, my tv, and a small fridge.I looked up the price on some but it does not make any sense to me because it says that it has reached the price of less than $ per watt but if I look up a 20 watt solar panel it is $560 dollars. Why would it not be $20 because they said $ a watt.Where would be the best place to buy the cheapest solar panels?
The cost of solar panel depends on per Watt..typically per watt cost is around USD 4-5, so if you take 75W solar panel it will cost around USD 300-375. I hope this helps
Q: The intensity of sunlight at the distance of the Earth's orbit is 380 W/m2. An Earth-orbiting satellite has a solar panel that measures .35 m by 4.86 m, which converts solar energy to electrical energy with an efficiency of 26%. In one hour, how much electrical energy does the panel produce? Assume that the satellite's attitude control jets keep the panel oriented perpendicular to the incoming sunlight.
380 W/m2. An Earth-orbiting satellite has a solar panel that measures .35 m by 4.86 m, which converts solar energy to electrical energy with an efficiency of 26%. In one hour, how much electrical energy does the panel produce? 380 W/m? x .35 m x 4.86 m x 0.26 = 2354 watts energy is watts*time E = 2354 watts x 3600 sec = 847472 Joules or, E = 2354 watt-hours
