GENERAL WARNING
1. Before you attempt to install wire, operate and maintain the PV module, please make sure that you completely understand the information described in this installation manual.
2. Contact with electrically active parts of a PV module such as terminals can result in burns, sparks and lethal shock whether the PV modules is connected or not.
3. PV modules produce electricity when the sufficient sunlight or other sources illuminate the module surface. When the modules are connected in series, voltage id cumulative . When the modules are connected in parallel, current is cumulative. As a result, a large-scale PV system can produce high voltage and current which could present an increased hazard and may cause serious injury or death.
4. Do not connect the PV modules directly to the loads such as motor since the variation of the output power depending on the solar irradiation cause damage for the connected motor.
1:In the case of a blushless motor, the lock function becomes active and the hall IC is most likely to be damaged.
2:In the case of a brush type motor, the coil is most likely to be damaged.

- Unless there has been some major breakthrough in solar panel efficiency - Forget it. I had looked at some utility interactive systems where the electricity generated by the solar panels went through a special inverter and into the electrical system of the house, any power you didn't use went backwards through the meter and into the grid. I figured that even if it was sunny every day, it would take about 20 years to break even on the system. That is, if I had invested $5,000 in a small system, to save $5,000 off the electric bill would take 20 years. If I had $5,000 to invest, this wouldnt be the place! It would take much more than 20 years of electrical savings to match even a modest investment. Then, don't forget what happens if 0 years from now the inverter or some of the panels fail and need replaced. Invest in fluorescent lights, maybe even LEDs. You will see a much quicker return on investment. Install more insulation, put in a heat-pump system. I appreciate you desire to save some energy, solar just isn't going to be worth doing, at least not yet.

- A solar panel is just a collection of solar cells all wired up in parallel and series to provide a useful voltage. Typical solar cells only provide half a volt, maybe less, so usually you put 2 of them together to get a 6v solar panel or 24 of them to get a 2v panel. Solar cells are made in various ways, the most popular are silicon solar cells which are made with a chunk of silicon with a P-N junction in the middle and contacts on either side. When a photon of light comes in, the energy of the photon is converted to electrical energy. Individually, photons contain a tiny amount of energy, but when you have a solar cell in the sunlight, billions and billions of photons hitting it constantly create a useful amount of electrical energy.
