- Q: I'm just baught a new LCD TV and i have two wires in each outlet. I want to ground this specific outlet by running a wire to a cold water pipe. What gage wire should i use.
- It That has several preconditions: 1) room to cut the pipe, 2) ability to move one of the cut pipes, 3) already having a repair sleeve, 4) water already shut off. If there is no ability to move either end, then a larger section needs to be cut out and two sleeves installed. This doubles the repair time. - It could be your pressure switch on your bladder tank gone bad. Trust me I know what I am talking about. We have a well and had to put in a new one because it ran dry. We have replaced our pressure switch a couple of different times. Start at the pressure switch first and hopefully that will take care of your problem. If not could be the pump, maybe something in bladder tank. If not then I am just no help to you. p.s. I really hope I am help though.

- Whose owns the smoke detectors? Where are you? If you OWN the residence, you are probably not even required to HAVE smoke detectors. In that case, you can do anything you want tot them. If you rent an apartment, or the detectors are not in your residence, you could be guilty of destruction of property ans potential liable for any injuries resulting from the detectors not working.

- i would suggest you take a picture or two of your existing piping, measure the sizes of the pipes, take pictures and measure the new pipe connections and take them to a hardware store and show them what you want to do. hope that helps.

- Well, I'm not quite sure exactly what a bass cannon is but the name implies some conception of what it might be - a one note boom machine. Given that you need to securely mount one woofer at the end of the tube. I suggest two pieces of heavy (Baltic Birch would be best) plywood at least 3/4 thick with one cutout fitting tightly on the tube and the other with a cutout for the woofer.

It is paint-able however but it will dissolve paint when applied to it. PVC cement actually melts PVC pipes and fittings together and seals them. Once dried, it is as hard as plastic. - if it is a copper pipe it might be loose in the fittings, if you really do not have the moneyfor a plumber, try using plumbers puttyaround the leak make sure the area is dry, plumbers putty will not stick if it is wet, or, duck tape it, good luck, let me know if this works
