Q: also any tips to get shiny pin straight sleek hair? when i straghten mine it kinda stays puffy put its straight.just puffyi have long layes and i have thick hair.
The straightening serum should go in while your hair is still dampRub it in between your palms until it emulsifies then work it into your hair from about 6 inches away from the scalp thru the endsHeat protectors have different instructions.some you spray on then iron while wet-others you blowdry before starting to ironThis should be the second step after the serumHave a look at your thermal protectorA lot of straightening serums have thermal protector in them, making the spray stuff unnecessaryI find when I use both it feels like there is too much product in my hairThe key to sleek hair is this: 1Your hair needs to be 100% DRY when you start to iron itThe iron is going to seal down the outer layer of the hair in one direction temporarily, this is what generates that shine and keeps humidity out2Take as small of sections as you can when stylingPin it up, and gradually take down 1/2 sections, working from the base/root slowly thru the endsBasically, the more time you take as far as working thru each piece the smoother it will beYou might want to find a good shine spray, at the end of your styling if you use one it will help lock in your style and keep humidity at bay3.Additionally, a good iron helpsIf you're usuing a super cheapy drugstore iron and you have a whole mess of thick hair, you need one that offers you higher performanceYou want an iron that has ceramic plates, and gets hot evenlyExpect a good flat iron to cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 dollarsIt's worth it-the cheapy ones don't heat evenly and can burn/damage your hair.
Q: i heard you can spin woolbut are their any other fibers you can spin into yarn?
Yes there are a lot of fibers you can spin it's just knowing how to handle themWool is by far the easiest but people spin cotton, bamboo, silk, camel hair, yak hair, possum hair, llama wool, bunny fur etc.
Q: i have size 14 kniting needles and i was wondering if those were too big for kniting a scarf with regular yarn
You use the appropriate size of needle for the yarn you are usingSo a thick yarn needs thicker needles, and very fine thread needs really fine needles as wellA general rule (and there are exceptions) is that you lay two lengths of yarn side by side, and the thickness of them together is the thickness of the needles you would useThis is for most regular knitting, such as a sweaterBut for a scarf, you usually want a looser fabric, so slightly larger needles are acceptableFor something like socks, where you want a tighter fabric, you want thinner needlesIf those are all the needles you have, and the yarn is quite thin, you can sometimes double up the yarnOr use two yarns, even if they are different sizes and colours - you can often get really interesting effects that wayThe only way you will know for sure is to knit a small sample in the pattern you are usingMake it about 4 x 4 inches to get a good idea of what it looks like and feelsStart the scarf, and knit about 4 inchesis that what you wanted? Is it too tight, too loose? Make adjustments in needle size or yarn sizeYou can always pull out the stitches, and start over - the yarn won't mindThen keep a notebook with a sample of the yarn, with notes about needle size used, and the pattern usedMake a note how you liked the fabric so you will know the next time you have a similar yarn which needles to useThis will be your own personal reference libraryIf you have any yarn left, make a small sample to keep in your book as well.
Q: My sister said that her class used to have a gerbil class petShe said that is had a little blanket that it carried around with it and snuggled withDo you think my gerbil would do fine with this if it was a small piece of cloth?
a is K and b is Ar,i dont know what your whole ion thing is about, but the configs you gave are unique to potassium and argon, respectively.
Q: I am writing a 20 page essay and i need 2-3 good quotes describing my topic (knitted hats) to start off my essayI need this as soon as possibleI need a brief description that is short that gives an idea of what a knitted isThanks to those who can help me!
you should add details cause it makes no sense
Q: I live in an old house (c1917)The attic was at one time used as living space back in the day when fuel was very cheap I want to make it back into useable spaceThere's no insulation up there at allIf I insulate the roof so that I can use that space again I am concerned that the roof material will get too hot and fail earlyCurrently, the roof gets ventilation from windows at eiher end of the house and there are a few roof ventsBut, if I insulate and drywall there won't really be a good place for air to circulate between the insulation and the roof itselfWhat is the best way to deal with this problem? My current idea is to vent the soffits and put a ridge vent inThat won't be easy to do though, it's high off of the ground and the wood on the soffits is about an inch thickIf I do it how much of the soffit has to be vented? Is there a better way?
You're right about no ventilation under the roof being the main cause of premature roof failureThe best thing to do is install vented soffit and ridge ventYou'll still have a problem, though, if you fill the rafter bays with insulationThere are styrofoam venting baffles that are about three feet long by one foot wideThey are stapled to the underside of the roof sheathing, end to end, from eave to ridge in each bay(Or at least on the sloped portion of the ceiling, if you are going to have knee-walls and a flat section of ceiling.) This creates an air space from soffit to ridge ventThen you insulate and drywall as normal.
Q: does anyone know how to straightnen hair with out getting it damaged???
You don't need to have insulation, it will just make heating and cooling your house harder without itI don't think a siding contractor would know how to insulate a house, but I suppose it could be possibleIt would be beneficial for you get it insulated, but you definitely do not need to have it.
Q: What can I do about pre-menstrual cramping and other pms symptoms? I haven't started my period yet, but it'll be coming in a few more daysMy stomach has been hurting me very badly lately and when I go to the bathroom, I have a very small bowel movement that is like little pebbles except a bit looseWhat can I do to sooth myself?
they sell spring helpers for it at any auto parts storeor get an air ride suspension
Q: seriously theres like no industry or demand for them now here in the uscows fulfill need for milk and meat and we have dogs and cats for petsgoats are basically pointless and are only needed in poor countries now
Don't forget the aluminum foil! After cleaning the grill you can just spread out the foil over the grill and don't have to worry about too many germs on your meatsIt also comes in handy in case you want to grill some veggiesI would also pack Clorox disinfectant spray and wipesIt can never hurt.
Q: Why does cotton shrinks?
Find a way to help others, whether it's just someone to talk to or someone that needs help with anything, such as an elderly or disabled personYou'll find that the best way to forget your problems is to help someone else with theirsIt takes the mind off of me, it takes away the momentary self-pity which is basically what it all boils down toHelp someone else with their problems and you'll forget about yours.
