The ceramic fiber paper is manufactured from high-grade ceramic fiber formed into flexible sheet. It offers high temperature resistance, very low thermal conductivity, chemical corrosion resistance and thermal shock stability.
The paper can be widely used in the applications where purity, cracking resistance and heat resistance are of importance. It provides maximum heat resistance and thermal insulation in limited space.

Q: Specifically I want to learn how to knit a hat.like a beanie of sortsAlso where can I get supplies to do said knitting?
If you sew or glue it to the stretchy knitting or crochet a lot (and especially around the outside edges), and the self-adhesive type isn't best for sewing through)Otherwise the velcro will be too wobbly or pull on the knitting/crochet too muchNote that Velcro comes in different strengths, shapes, colors, and in sew-on or self-adhesive versions.
Q: The ducts are located in an unfinished atticI found a couple of do it yourself spray foam kits that look like they may work but I haven't been able to find any articles or info on such a projectIs this something that is done or am I way off baseAlso, can you recommend any specific spray foam insulation products for this job? Thanks.
There are some light weight blankets made out of 100% polyester that are soft, comfortable, light weight and feel real good and warm Machine wash and dryThey do cost $20.00 and they last a long time.
Q: Is there an easy way to tell if knitting yarn is wool or acrylic?
In addition to what Kaye has said, animal and plant fiber yarns (wool, cotton, etc.) will have a fine, crumbly ash when they self-extinguish (all natural fibers self-extinguish when removed from the source of flame)Animal fibers smell like burning hair, plant fibers like burning paperAcryllic yarns will not self-extinguish and smell like burning plastic (they smell like what they are), when they are extinguished the end will be a hard knob that does not crumble easily.
Q: I just painted my nails and i accidently got it on my throw/blanket on my bed i really need to get it out as its my favorite one and its not reversible its 100% Polyester How can i get this out as quick as possible???
Several things can minimize freezer burnThe first step is to keep the freezer as cold as possibleFluctuating temperatures can contribute to freezer burn, especially if the food is not as cold as it can be to begin withOver stuffing a freezer can also lead to freezer burnAll foods also ultimately have a shelf life in the freezerFreezing something can greatly reduce the time it takes to go bad, but it will not stop the process altogetherWhile freezer burn is not harmful, leaving food in the freezer too long is, and heavy freezer burn is a sign that the food has outlived its freezer lifeFinally, make sure to package food well before freezing itIf the food is being stored in plastic containers, make sure that the lids are snug and tight, and try to press as much air out as possibleSome people like to crumple wax paper into the top of a plastic container before sealing it for freezing, to further reduce the air in the containerIf something is being bagged and frozen, press all the air out of the bag and make sure that it is sealed tightlyIf you are uncertain, double bag the food to ensure that it is airtightIf a package of frozen food does have freezer burn, you can cut away the area before cookingBe aware that the food may have lost some flavor as a result, and that you may need to season it more heavily than you would normallyTaste the food as you cook it and adjust the flavorings as needed.
Q: i need more fiberi am on atkins dieti dont want fiber to make me bloated or gassy thoughI need something that works wellAnd is easy to take with mealsCan't be too expensive.

Fiber One Caramel Delight
Q: I am asking what metal or material will retain its coldness the longest after being kept in a standard home freezerAfter being removed from the freezer, the metal will be subjected to a moderate heat source for 5-20 minutesIs it a metal or something else, possibly ceramic? I am using this for a project.
Metal would not be suitable for your project since it is a conductorCeramic is a good candidate since it is an insulatorDepending on how hot the 'moderate heat source' is, there are different materials to choose fromIf it's not very hot (below say 100degC), the you can try polystyrene (the stuff that makes cups that holds hot beverages) as it is an excellent thermal insulator - the thicker the betterIf the heat source is quite hot, then go for ceramic since ceramic can withstand high temperatures, just make sure that the change in temperature around the ceramic isn't too sudden otherwise it may crack.
Q: I have two albino ball pythons, one male and one female, I have them both in a good sized tankThe two do just fine together and have good accomidations for them ( a hollow rock for hiding, a water tank, climbing branch, log, and a whole lotta aspen bedding) I was wondering if they absolutely need a heat lamp, I was thinking since they hide or quot;sleepquot; together that they would produce some heat and also they sleep together in the rock or under the water dish so maybe that would conserve the heatAny help?
So I've got like two strikes against me here, no money and no hubby - can I make payments on lay away? hahahahaha
Q: so for two weeks I've had sore breast/nipples I had cramping and sharp pain in my lower abdomen now my breast don't hurt yet I feel those sharp pain in my lower left abdomen plus I have irregular period sometimes I get my period in the first weeks of the month and sometimes on the last weeks can one last thing sometimes I feel sore boobs and mild cramping before period but two weeks past and no period plus I've never felt this needle sharp pain
It's normal to feel these kinds of aches and pains - it's down to hormonal changes causing your body to retain water which in turn, stretches your body cells which is what causes the painIf you need help with relieving the pain, try this:- - Keep your abdomen or lower back where the pain is warm by soaking in a hot bath, holding a hot water bottle wrapped in a cover, towel or blanket against your abdomen (NEVER let the rubber come in direct contact with your skin, as it can cause burns), using a heating pad or rice sock, or massaging it with your handSome people find having a laptop on their lap by their belly can help because computers also produce heatThe heat helps your pelvic muscles relax- Have some peppermint sweets or peppermint tea - peppermint can help relieve the pain- If you want to take a pain relief medication, use ibuprofenThese work best because they're designed to target muscular painTake it as soon as you feel pain
Q: I LOVE to knit socks, but I'm veganDoes anyone know of a sock yarn that does not contain wool or any other animal product? For those who don't know, good sock yarn is normally some kind of wool, cashmere, alpaca, etc and 25% minimum nylonAs a vegan I can't, or at least won't, use animal productsAnyone know of a sock weight knitting yarn that doesn't contain animal products?
If your wool is 100% wool, with no synthetic mixed in it, the when you come to put the socks in the washing machine you will find they will shrink to half the sizeThat is the reason if when you want to felt anything, then you use 100% woolYour socks just might turn out just the right size for a babyOn the other hand if you are willing to wash them by hand in just warm water they should be fineOf course you have the added benefit then, that wool is much warmer in the cold weatherC.
