Company Profile
China National Building Material (CNBM) Group Corporation
CNBM Solar photovoltaic (PV) Panel is designed for large electrical power requirements. It is the optimal choice for both on-grid and off-grid power systems. CNBM Solar panel offers high performance of power per square foot of solar array. Monocrystalline silicon(c-Si): often made using the Czochralski process. Single-crystal wafer cells tend to be expensive, and because they are cut from cylindrical ingots, do not completely cover a square solar cell module without a substantial waste of refined silicon. Hence most c-Si panels have uncovered gaps at the four corners of the cells.
CNBM International Corporation is a professional solar panel manufacturer in China for CNBM brand . Silicon panel ( silicon module), as our main product, has high quality and good service. Our products are very popular in Europe, Australia, England, Middle East, Mexico, Argentina, Chili, Singapore and Africa.
Furthermore, our products have gained international authorized certificates like TUV, UL and CE.
China National Building Material (Group) Corporation (CNBM), established in 1984, is one of the largest State-owned group corporations of building & mechanical materials which specializes in the design, manufacturing and distribution of building materials in the world.
As the whole world turns “green”, CNBM enters into the Photovoltaic Industry in 2005.After 6 years' fast growth, now our annual capacity is 500MW solar panel and 500MW solar cell.

- Q: I have a rental property and use a 230-Volt 6-Amp Pool Pump.I would like to use a solar panel to run it when the house is empty, using mains power when guests are here. The building is in the Caribbean so plenty of sun!!I wanted to run it quot;directand not use batteries. Is this possible??What size panel would I need? A DC invertor too??Thanks!!
- You can buy a solar pool pump with all the equipment you'll need.
- Q: Can solar panels be used off-grid?
- Yes, solar panels can be used off-grid. Off-grid solar panels generate electricity from the sun and store it in batteries, allowing them to provide power in remote or isolated locations without relying on a traditional electrical grid.
- Q: A local air conditioning company is advertising combining their (newly installed) central air conditioning system for homes, with roof solar panels. They say that the combination MAY reduce your electric bill. Nothing I can see to back-up their claims. Hmmmmm. And they offer, if you can get it; central air conditioning that runs on natural gas. Again, possibly cheaper than using electricity.Has any one actually tested to find out if solar panels and/or natural gas DOES, or DOES NOT save you any money to make it worth the bother?

- Q: Can solar panels be used in areas with high pollution levels?
- Yes, solar panels can be used in areas with high pollution levels. While pollution may slightly reduce the efficiency of solar panels by blocking some sunlight, they can still generate electricity. In fact, using solar panels in such areas can be beneficial as they provide a clean and renewable energy source, helping to reduce reliance on polluting fossil fuels.
- Q: If a solar panel is a .5kW system, what length of time is it putting out that much power? Every hour?
- Solar panels are rated under standard test conditions (STC), a certain amount of light at a certain distance, at a certain temperature, etc. A kW, or kilo watt, is 000 watts. So for the amount of time that the sun meets those conditions, the rate of output is 500 watts. An average location has an average of 5 sun hours a day, the total time that you produce the rated output. Watts is a rate, like miles per hour (mph), how fast it is going. Watt hours, or kilo watt hours (kwh) is a quantity, like miles. So if you drive 50 mph for 5 hours, you went 250 miles (50 mph x 5 hours). If you produce .5kw for 5 hours, you have the potential to produce 7.5kwh a day. Multiply that by 30 days in a month, you get 225kwh a month. In reality you will lose about 30% of the rated power from less than ideal weather, system losses, etc., so it's more like 50kwh a month. You can look at your electric bill to see how many kwh you use a month, maybe around 000kwh, and see what percentage of your usage a system like that can power.
- Q: I know what they do and how they work, but at this point they're expensive, don't always produce enough electricity as needed, and can't be used when there's no sun, as in half the day. Wouldn't wind power seem so more efficient? Or if they do use solar panels, how about putting them in the desert. But I really believe that research money should go to fusion generators since that's the future and the answer to our problems. Which is best in your opinion?
- There is not a yes or no answer. But for the majority of the population it is a definite no. Because the energy needed to make a solar panel is more than the energy that a solar panel can return in its life time. so No for cities and urbanized areas because there is already existing infrastructure therefore you'll be wasting more energy getting them installed. And it is better and more efficient to have the more common energy sources for populated areas. However that being said it would be more efficient if you live in a remote area as it would not be worth it to build a huge electricity grid just to power one small house in the middle of no where.
- Q: how the power output of solar panels fitted to a house can chargenothing on the internet really answers this question, any information will really help..this is for GCSE, i don't really understand the meaning of the question. does it ask how the solar panel egts charged, and how it works? i don't get how you can charge a solar panel and is heat the only way you can produce electricity for it??please answer if you know! much appreciated!!! thank you so so so so so so so much, in advance =)
- Solar panels do NOT get charged, so the question is junk, or you misstated it. Solar panels are used to charge a battery bank, which stores energy for times when there is no sun. Then energy from the batteries is used, via an inverter, to power appliances in the house. OR do you mean how the power output of solar panels can CHANGE? In that case, they change when the sun moves, such as behind a cloud, or just changes angle in the sky, or goes out.
- Q: I am in the market for buying a home. There is one for salke that actually has solar panels on top. How are they used? Do you need to pay for gas and electric still. Does it really light up the house and keep it warm. WHat about the AC keeping hte house cool in the summer does it work for that too? Please explain in solar for dummy terms. I haveno clue about solar panels other thatn the fact that it needs sunlight to run.
- Okay--here it is (without the techie buzzwords!) Solar power has a start up cost--the panels and related equipment. But the amount it cost to operate is virtually zero--pretty much jsut servicing th equipment o keep it working properly--much as you do any other appliance. How much electricity you will still have to buy depends on four things: a) how much your system can produce. If you have a 4000 watt system, you'll still buy a fair amount of power. Abigger one--and you will need less from the power company b) how efficient you (your home and appliances are). The more efficient, the less electricity you use. Obviously, things lie CFL bulbs are very helpful here c) Are you willing to invest in a battery storage system to store electricity from the system for use at night? Right now, that's still pricey. But these are starting to come on th emarket more. If you aren't ready to do tha tnow, you can always add it in later. d) can you sell excess power back to the power company.? In California, the law requires utilities to do this--but its not a universal yet, so it depends on where you are. How this works: you are still hooked up to the power company. Any time you need more power than the solar system produces, yur system jst draws it off the power grid--jsut as always. But--any time you are using LESS than the amount of power your system is producing, the excess automatically feeeds back into the electric grid and a special peter credits you with the power. There are cases wwhere people have goene on a long vacation in California and when they got home, the power company owed them several hundred dollars! You'll need to do some research, price thngs, take your own lifestyle into account, and decide what the best choices for you are. It sounds complicated--and to an extent it is. But the reason is tha tyou have a lot of choices tha tyou can make work to your advantage, instead of jsut writing a fat check to the power company every month!
- Q: Can solar panels be installed on community buildings?
- Yes, solar panels can be installed on community buildings. Installing solar panels on community buildings is a popular and effective way to generate clean and renewable energy for the community. It not only helps reduce electricity costs but also contributes to a sustainable and eco-friendly environment.
- Q: I'm trying to charge rechargeable AA batteries with a solar panel. What gauge wire should I use to connect the panel to the batteries? I know I'm not going to have a lot of current going through so the wire size doesn't really matter. Can the wire be too thick thoShould I ugh? Should I use a diode to keep the batteries from overpowering the circuit? If so, what size diode? My panel is 4.8V 50mA. Can I just hook the panel straight into the batteries or do I need something else?
- In order: .? Just about any wire will do.? You can handle 50 mA over just about anything, even 28 gauge telephone wire.? Your biggest problems are probably going to be mechanical stress (you want stranded wire instead of solid, to avoid breakage) and dealing with the size of larger wires. 8 gauge speaker wire may be a good optimum. 2.? You need a diode.? If you're charging NiMH or NiCd cells you're going to have about .25 volts/cell; you can charge up to 3 of them in series with a 4.8 volt panel.? The solar panel is a bunch of diodes itself, but they're leaky in the reverse direction; the diode prevents the batteries from discharging themselves back through the panel.? You want a Schottky-barrier diode, because the forward voltage drop is about 0.2 volts instead of 0.7 volts for a regular silicon rectifier.? This gives you maximum current output from your panel.
