- About 67 percent of body iron is present as hemoglobin and myoglobin. Hemoglobin, which is present in red blood cells, is essential for transferring oxygen from the lungs, via the blood, to the tissues; myoglobin is present in muscle cells and accepts, stores, transports and releases oxygen in the muscles. About six percent of body iron is used as a component of certain proteins (it forms part of the cytochromes, which are essential for respiration and energy metabolism), and as a component of certain enzymes it is involved in the synthesis of collagen and various neurotransmitters. In addition, iron is needed for proper immune function. About 25 percent of the iron in the body is stored as ferritin, which is found in cells and circulates in the blood. The average adult male has about 1,000 mg of stored iron (enough for about three years), whereas women on average have only about 300 mg (enough for about six months). When iron intake is chronically low, stores can eventually become depleted, decreasing hemoglobin levels.

- Red meat and liver are 2 sources. If your blood test shows that your iron levels are low it's likely that you're not getting enough B12 or copper. If you really want to balance this out see a Naturopath or a Holistic Nutritionist. Family doctors are absolutely not experts on nutrition. They get no training in it at med school.

- Try replacing the whole blade and not just the refill. If that doesnt work try using rain-x. If that doesnt work take your car to an auto detailer and have them buff your windows beacuse after a while you get alot of little scratches making your windshield dull. This should fix you up!

- Lettuce has a bit or iron. Dark green is best when it comes to vegies. You dont have to just rely on veg though. Eggs, wholemeal bread, fortified cereals, pastas and rices. Red meat, especially liver if you like it. White meat, fish, shellfish is brilliant, nuts and dried apricots. Nearly everything has iron in it but these are among the best. Watch out though because many of these foods are high in cholesterol. You'll be alright short term though. The main aim is to get your iron levels up. Just a couple of tips that will be relevant whether you do it all by diet, or end up taking iron supplements. Sometimes things we eat and drink can block iron absorption. Dont drink tea an hour before and after a meal. The tannins will block iron. Same with milk products. Dont have them around meal time because calcium also blocks iron. Have a glass of orange juice with your meal, or meals with loads of tomato like pasta sauces etc are great. Vitamin C almost doubles your iron absorption. One more thing. Iron comes out in your sweat so stay cool.

- try out all the brands and which ever brands feels the best just go with that one. i tried out six drivers at golfsmith and several woods for a demo and to me the G-10 Driver was light weight and had a good feel.
