Q: I am doing a project for econ where I have to interview a bank. The thing is I don't know what to ask. Please help
Do you want positive Questions or Negative questions? Example-- Pos: When was your bank first established and who started it? -How many customers do you have? -How many assets do you manage? (Value of accounts, Value of loans, Value of investments) -What kind of technology do you employ to power your bank -How many employees do you have -How would a person best start a career at your bank -Do you like what you do? What is the average day like of a (teller, bank manager, loan officer, etc) Neg: Did your bank take a bailout and why? -Why do you use other people's money for making more money, but then charge them to use their own money if they don't have enough to meet requirements. Example: I loan the bank $500 in the form of a savings acount, they charge me $10 a month because I didn't loan them $1500) Edit: I think you should re-ask this question and say: If you could ask a bank 1 question, what would it be. Then in your description explain the types of questions you are looking for. A list of 10 is a lot of ask in a questionbut if you got 10 answers, you'd have 10 questions.
Q: I am a NRI living in the US. I want to give power of attorney to my aunt to to banking stuff. I can get a document attested at the embassy. but some people are saying it needs to be on a bond paper I dont have one can it just be on plain white sheet? and what happens after i send that to india?
definite you could positioned money into India inventory marketplace by using Mutual money ,in simple terms requirement is you could desire to have a NRO account are NRE account ,and you will taxed in India ,yet as quickly as you're taking back your earnings to US you could desire to document a return.
Q: If we think about mortgages, credit cards that's one thing. But every store has a line of credit. Therefore, banks control us in many ways. The internet is controlled by bankers. This is why we should shop at the farmers market and buy products that use less resources, taxes, and strict regulations to limit the power of Banks.
I am not. But next time you morons want to protest against banks, try vandalizing the main office of Wells Fargo. I would love to see how much liberal San Francisco likes having college punks tearing up their city for a change.
Q: I have taken a housing loan in joint account with my mom, The bank is asking for power of attorney from me to disburse the final cheque.
You just have to draft a Power of Attorney letter and noterize it. For this you have to contact some local lawyers. If you want to know about them, ask me.
Q: I want to know what I could do as a response to a person who had my Power of Attorney and did not use it in my best interest. The person I gave Power of Attorney place a person on my title that I did not authorize nor would I benefit from. Searious answers Only no Sarcasm please
One of your best options is to seek criminal charges under fraud.
Q: I tried to have a check made out to my husband cashed today. He is depolyed and I have power of attorney. The bank said they are refusing my power of attorney and he would need to be present to cash the check. I advised them he is deployed and they still denied it. I need to cash this since we have no money at the present and it seems to me that power of attorney is the same as having him there. Any ideas on what to do or who to call. Im waiting for a JAG to call me back per the FRG.
Each bank may have rules on what they accept. Is this the bank that he banks with? If so, he should have contacted them before he deployed to give them the POA and advise them to allow you to do things on his behalf. If not his bank, they don't know for sure that he signed it, so they really do not have to honor it, from what I understand, just like some states do not honor a POA for certain things (like vehicle registration in my former state, you HAD to have the Special power of attorney). Hopefully JAG can help you out a little more. Its frustrating when the military tells you that this should work for you, but then it doesn'tI understand as my husband was deployed last year. Good luck, let us know what JAG tells you!
Q: I'm filling out a power of attorney and not sure what to put in the Capacity portion. Can someone tell me what the capacity means? :)
Capacity is what you are allowing or authorizing the person as power of attorney to do on your behalf. Personally, I would not give power of attorney over my Bank Account and I would have a Contingency in place to revoke power of attorney at anytime and at your discretion.
Q: If I want 2 use my bank card 4 credit rather than debit do I still need 2 have the amount in my checking account? I've never done it b/4 and the powers out at my apt, its sunday and I need a hotel room.ty
yes you must have the money in your account. With debit cards because of holds and actual transactions you should have 2 times the amount needed in your account to be safe from fees for over drafting. Big deal the power is out-make due what is so important really to spend money for a night of no power.
Q: I already have Wachovia but i'm thinking about switching to chase. I am a college student and i would like to know why you think what you think. Thank alot!

Q: Hello everyone! I am trying to power a device off of a rechargeable battery. I am going to be making a xbox360 laptop but I would like it to be completely cordless. Like I was thinking of taking lithium Ion cells out of laptop batteries and soldering them together to make a bigger power bank to power the xbox360. But the one thing I am wondering is if that would be a good idea? I would like to know every ones input or if anyone has made like lithium ion battery banks or has modified some laptop batteries or something of similar sort and what there out come has been like. I am a very technical and handy person and not afraid to zap myself in the process :) so please leave a comment with your feed back :) any at all is fine, aslong as it relates to the topic :)! Thank you guys for all your help!!
To make power banks out of laptop batteries is somewhat difficult. The problem would be about recharging mostly, and a little about voltage matching. I doubt if anybody has ever managed to do that successfully. Other more feasible approach I would think, is to use lithium ion or polymer batteries commonly used in Radio-Controlled toys and its general battery charger. That way you can fit the voltage, number of cells, and be able to use balancer and general smart battery charger for your purpose.
